This is a model 99 BT7 knee bar machine that runs great. EXCELLENT original condition with excellent strong graphics. Nice original wood case also in excellent condition. No damage to the case other than super minor light scratched. This has been very well cared for. Black paint is very glossy with strong decals. Only one small chipped area at the bottom corner on the deck. Runs quiet and smooth as you would expect. No vibration or unusual sounds. Original wiring in very good condition. Original lamp works great and has bright shiny chrome. Black cloth wire in good condition with the original plug. Knee bar controls the speed wonderfully and very precisely. The serial number on the machine ... moretag in the front reads: G0344842 and the serial number on the motor reads 2123471A. The rubber belt bands look to be in very good shape. Comes with original knee bar. Oil can, owners manual for knee control, owners manual for attachments, a rare manual of family sewing machines which is a brochure of Singer products at the time showing all different types available and attachments. There is no key but I will find something by auctions end. I will take a square style key and file it down. I do not have a flat key for this unit. Excellent condition handle. Black paint is glossy and would polish up very nicely. Lastly there is an original attachments box full of parts. I would give this a 9 out of 10. It is VERY nice! Nice old Singer Sewing machine. According to the serial number. This is a model#99 built in 1924. It is in a brentwood case and has a motor that is model# BT7 with light. This was missing the knee bar so we ordered an one from a guy that makes replacements for these old Singer machines. The knee bar works and so does the motor and light. We did not sew anything and only ran it for about a minute. This will be sold with our regular 14 day return policy. However, we can not warranty these antiques to continue running so any return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Portable singer sewing machine model 99-13 with the brentwood case key and knee bar in excellent workink condition.howevere. The bobbin slide cover is missing but ive seen them on ebay. There is some slight scrathes on the top of the machine from thread wear and the case has some cosmetic wear but it is in overall good condition. You can see all the parts in the photos: Machine, case, cover, key, 12.5' cord, knee bar. There is a bobbin case inside the machine, and a bobbin up on the winder as well. There are no other accessories or attachments aside from one needle. Everything is as you see it. The machine works: the light still lights. And when plugged in with the knee bar in position, it runs. I did not try it out with any thread, because I confess I've forgotten how to thread the machine! I referenced the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society(ISMACS) online. To find the year of the machine's manufacture. It is a model 128, from 1924. Here is a 1924 Singer sewing machine in a wood case. It looks to be in pretty decent original condition and it comes with a box of accessories. It is from an old estate and I do not know its history. From my sewing machine experience it looks to be decent and the only thing that I can detect is that the lid to the case does not latch and it can not be carried by the handle. I suppose that its just going to sit around anyway. But I did want to make sure it was pointed out. I will ship it at actual cost and pack it carefully but you way want the case to go in a separate box. So please be prepared to pay a little more for shipping. Shipping is via USPS parcel select.

Vintage Singer 1924 sewing machine Bentwood case ~ knee bar ~ XF Condition
Hello- here is a 1924 Singer Sewing Machine- from a local estate. It is serial number AA144010. It has the"knee bar" rather than the foot pedal to activate the action. The knee bar is original. The motor starts appropriately and steps up and down according to pressure from the knee bar. The motor is encased in a small compartment on the right end of the cabinet. It is the B.T.7 motor that Singer used for many years. This machine uses"shuttle" technology rather than the"bobbin" we see in later years. The shuttle checked out nicely and moves back and forth as intended. Thread advance was also noted. The electrical cord shows signs of aging/wear. Electrical tape is noted near the plug area. I suggest replacing the cord if long term usage is anticipated. The bobbin winder appears to be intact- although I did not ... moretest it. The paint and decals are XF. The deck decals are especially strong with excellent coloration. No dings on the deck- which is a bit unusual in machines using knee bars(that are stored in the case) The deck light works- it has a push button switch and is Singer original equipment. The drive belt is rubber and is in XF condition- no doubt a recent replacement. Belt action was consistent with motor produced RPMs. No slap or track deviation was noted. Both slide plates are nice and shiny. The side plate is of a"pear" design and is likewise in XF condition. The wooden cabinet(base) is in Fine condition. No indication of cracking. Abuse, repair, etc. The 2 hinging areas are intact with no sign of fatigue, cracking, etc. The hinges fit tight. The Bentwood case is VG in condition. I have seen nicer ones- but- I have also seen quite a few rougher ones. It has some scratches and overall age/usage is evident. The handle is original and is in XF condition. Locking action is positive and as designed. The knee bar sits firmly in the case. Extras include: original Singer key. Singer Instruction booklet, Singer Free Service coupon(dated 1942) Customer repair tag, 6 long bobbins

Antique 1929 Singer 99 Bentwood Knee Bar Foot Pedal Sewing Machine w/Case NICE
Up for auction is a beautiful antique or vintage 1929 Singer Model BU7-E kneebar sewing machine with original case and foot pedal. This sewing machine is in excellent condition and runs very well. The foot pedal works fine and the motor seems to power the machine well. This is in great shape with VERY strong decals and nickel plating. The outside wood case is in very good shape with only cosmetic light scratches that could easily be refinished or improved. Original knee bar is there. The only issue I see is that there is no key for this unit. The lock is present but no key(note: I removed the lock to take to a locksmith so it is out in the pictures but is there and is now back on the case shell) The serial number on the unit is AC 894363 and the motor number is 4804679. I looked up the number and it shows as 1929. Here is a great example ... moreof a nice home sewing machine. It would make a great display piece or fire it up and get it back to work! Restored 1926 Singer 99 Sewing Machine Bentwood Case Knee Bar Sews Very Well
this auction/listing is for a: Beautiful Nicely Restored& Serviced 1926 Singer Model 99 Sewing Machine in a Bentwood Case with the original Knee Bar Power Controller. this machine Sews Very Well[even though my pics don't have the most detail& when i spun the sew test around(to act like a reverse stitch/sew-off in some spots) i wasn't all that careful with trying to put the stitches exactly back on the other stitches' line.i don't think i even kept the needle down in the fabric for these doubled stitch segments] it's powered by a Singer B.U.7-A.6 amp motor that runs strongly& well now. from above: i restored& serviced this Singer 1926 model 99 electric motor powered sewing machine. It's bentwood carrying case, knee bar, power controller& light. the machine and case still have some wear& minor ... moredamage from use that i have not been able to fix or improve. overall though, for my 1st complete fix-up of a machine& it's case, the results are quite good and a big improvement from where i started with this machine. here are the restoration details for this machine: i stained, cleaned, and fixed up the case(the stain had a sealant in it, so the case is smooth to the touch& shiny and not sticky/i stained the inside of the case& base also)re-painted(the paint has a rougher finish than original japanning& clear coat, but it still looks good and perhaps even more antique-like) replaced all the decals, put 2 coats of polyurethane on machine and belt guard.completely rewired, cleaned-up& adjusted the light, motor, knee bar controller mechanism& replaced the power cord.repainted the original knee bar(which fits snugly and works well with this machine now)thoroughly cleaned machine parts, case parts(painted internal metal parts) polished chrome& etc.wound bobbin.sew tested and adjusted(sews very well.nice straight stitch)new winder tire, spool pin felt, needle.refurbished the original motor, which runs strongly& very well now.added 4 new rubber feet

Offered here is an ESTATE FRESH. Antique 1928 Singer model 99 portable sewing machine in original condition with a silver scroll face plate and bentwood oak carry case. I was told it has been in storage for 50+ years. With serial number AC315973 this machine dates to 1928 and was manufactured at the Elizabeth. NJ factory. It has the bobbin box with lots of extras. An optional light, original knee bar and a key. It is working and running smoothly. But should be cleaned, lubricated and adjusted if you plan on sewing with it. Coming with 2 instruction manuals No. 99 and for Singer B.U.K. Electric Motors, not sure if they relate to the machine or not but they come with the machine anyway, another excellent piece in this lot is what is believed to be the sales receipt signifying the owner that bought the machine was signed up for some sewing lessons to learn how to use the machine, signed by a few people, this is a great machine combo everything with amazing looks to them, the machine has excellent gold graphics all over it with a nice working light on it, the only detail to note is that it is missing the foot pedal and the key for the locking wood case(so you will have to open it with a screwdriver as we did as well.
