Singer Sewing Machine Model 66 VERY CLEAN STRONG SOLID 1924
1924 Singer model 66 is truly a Collectable machine. I've used this for some upholstery projects such as sewing cushions.Pillows,inside backs using heavy material with no problem I also used the machine for many quilts that were on display at the local fair. When doing home upholstery I put the machine on my extra sewing table(see pic) and quilts. I used the box base which it comes with at my dinner table. The machine comes with many sewing feet as shown in the pictures. It has a singer light. Peddle,original instruction manual for model 66,extra bobbers, needles and a carrying box with handle. Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet that had a 1924 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The cabinet stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. The cast iron base will be dismantled for shipping. The locks on the side drawers and center drawer are functional and open with the manufactured flat key provided. The entire cabinet was been refinished by the person I recovered it from. The table top measures approximately 17" W by 35 1/2"L. Serviced Antique 1924 Singer 66-4 Red Eye Treadle Sewing Machine WORKS See Video
This is a Rare Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 66-4 with Red Eye decals. This has the side clamping foot so it can use the common Singer low shank side clamping feet. Singer started using the side clamping foot for the 66 somewhere around March. 1923, which made the 66-1 become the 66-4. All other 66's were rear clamping feet up to early 1923. Serial number AA069712 dates this machine to September 23. 1924. This is from the first of only two batches of model 66's using the AA serial numbers made in 1924, Sept and Dec. All other Red Eyes, up to this point were G serial numbers. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim ... morewith ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine and the hand crank seen in the video are NOT INCLUDED and are NOT FOR SALE. They are for demonstration purposes only. There are modern handcranks available from other sellers on eBay, usually around $15. It comes with 2 bobbins. The bobbin winder has a new rubber wheel and works. Overall. This machine has a crackled appearance with flaked wear to the bottom decals and normal signs of use. The paint has a semi-flat appearance. There are some chips along the top. The finish on the deck is crackled with some scratches and nicks. There is light crackling on the rest of the body. The front edge of the base has some chips. The decals are mostly complete with flaked wear on the bottom and some flakes here and there on the rest of the machine. The decals on the backside are darker. All chrome pieces have an aged appearance. Some parts like the bobbin winder are darker than others. The nose and round plates are a little dark in the grooves. Beautiful Old Antique Vintage SINGER 128 Sewing Machine - 1924 - AA141585 NO RES
This is a beautiful Singer Sewing Machine. The Model plate says"AA141585" According to my research. This indicates that it was made on or during a production run on Nov. 11th, 1924. The bentwood case is complete. The lock functions, but is a little worn. It latches and closes, and can be picked up by handle, though I only tried for a second) Inside the case, the original accessories box, oiler, and hand crank are stored, and the stowing hardware is all in good shape. The varnish on the outside of the case is worn as expected, and there is very light scratching on the top. It also appears that the original power cord is included. I plugged it in, and the light still works. Did not try running the machine, as the belt appears to be dry, but there is no indication that it would not work. All of the accessories are included and accounted ... morefor in the box. The finish on the machine is glossy and there is no corrosion. The ornate paint is aged, but in good shape. Please see pics. This particular machine likely only needs the belts and a new needle to become a working unit again; however I was not visiting with my in-laws long enough to check into it. Antique 1924 Singer Sewing Machine Model 99 motor, knee bar, brentwood case
Nice old Singer Sewing machine. According to the serial number. This is a model#99 built in 1924. It is in a brentwood case and has a motor that is model# BT7 with light. This was missing the knee bar so we ordered an one from a guy that makes replacements for these old Singer machines. The knee bar works and so does the motor and light. We did not sew anything and only ran it for about a minute. This will be sold with our regular 14 day return policy. You can see all the parts in the photos: Machine, case, cover, key, 12.5' cord, knee bar. There is a bobbin case inside the machine, and a bobbin up on the winder as well. There are no other accessories or attachments aside from one needle. Everything is as you see it. The machine works: the light still lights. And when plugged in with the knee bar in position, it runs. I did not try it out with any thread, because I confess I've forgotten how to thread the machine! I referenced the International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society(ISMACS) online. To find the year of the machine's manufacture. It is a model 128, from 1924. The machine itself tips back on a sturdy hinge, to give access to the"below deck" storage compartment. The grandchildren love to use them as well. Samples include: 8 layers canvass. 8 layers denim, and 3 layers heavy upholstery leather. I would recommend using a leather needle for the latter. From my sewing machine experience it looks to be decent and the only thing that I can detect is that the lid to the case does not latch and it can not be carried by the handle. I suppose that its just going to sit around anyway. But I did want to make sure it was pointed out. Lovely. 1924 Model 124 Singer Sewing Machine Manufacturing Co. sewing machine, with an original Hamilton-Beach Motor. The Hamilton Beach 1920 motor does work. The wiring is sketchy and will need some rewiring, but we tried it anyways. When the sewing machine is oiled I know it will work well too. The fly wheel does move but it is a little tight. The dome case base is in bad condition. It has water damage and the bottom is disintegrating, I will package this to the best of my abilities to keep it from falling apart in shipping. The lock is rusted and will need work. There is NO KEY, but a screw driver worked just fine to open it. The top of the dome lid needs a bit of oil and it should look lovely and refreshed immediately. There are accessories for the sewing machine included, some are rusted,and some are not, in their original green Singer ... morebox. The sewing machine has NO RUST and looks great. Vintage 1924 Singer Sewing Machine Red Eye Model 66 Tiger Oak 7 Drawer Cabinet
Going by the Singer serial number website. This is a 1924 Model 66"Redeye" treadle machine. The machine has an electrification kit from H. Adler& Co. added. So it does have a two receptacle plug on the case back for a light(which in working order) and the motor. The pulley and motor could all use some lubrication and adjustment as it does squeak and slip when run. It is also missing a bobbin plate by the needle and maybe some other minor items that I am not familiar with. So that leads to the cabinet that is a bit of a confusing picture. The cast iron base does not show that it was ever a treadle. I believe the machine was added to this cabinet and that machine and cabinet are not original to each other. Now that I have stated all the things are a bit of a distraction from the overall piece. Let me talk about what it does have ... moregoing. The decaling on the machine is still very strong and the serial number plate of G0792897 is attached. It runs and can be converted back to a treadle or have some minor work to get it functioning better as an electric machine. The cabinet is about as I good as I have seen them. Very strong grain that is in plus condition from an abuse standpoint. This is when they made veneer about 3 times thicker then it is today. Truly a gorgeous cabinet. The 3 drawers on each side are still all in above average condition as well as the thin front drawer. I have shown views from all around. The base has the classic Singer insignia of the time and the surround around it reads"Singer Mfg. Co. I would keep it but I just don't have the room. Vintage Singer 1924 sewing machine Bentwood case ~ knee bar ~ XF Condition
Hello- here is a 1924 Singer Sewing Machine- from a local estate. It is serial number AA144010. It has the"knee bar" rather than the foot pedal to activate the action. The knee bar is original. The motor starts appropriately and steps up and down according to pressure from the knee bar. The motor is encased in a small compartment on the right end of the cabinet. It is the B.T.7 motor that Singer used for many years. This machine uses"shuttle" technology rather than the"bobbin" we see in later years. The shuttle checked out nicely and moves back and forth as intended. Thread advance was also noted. The electrical cord shows signs of aging/wear. Electrical tape is noted near the plug area. I suggest replacing the cord if long term usage is anticipated. The bobbin winder appears to be intact- although I did not ... moretest it. The paint and decals are XF. The deck decals are especially strong with excellent coloration. No dings on the deck- which is a bit unusual in machines using knee bars(that are stored in the case) The deck light works- it has a push button switch and is Singer original equipment. The drive belt is rubber and is in XF condition- no doubt a recent replacement. Belt action was consistent with motor produced RPMs. No slap or track deviation was noted. Both slide plates are nice and shiny. The side plate is of a"pear" design and is likewise in XF condition. The wooden cabinet(base) is in Fine condition. No indication of cracking. Abuse, repair, etc. The 2 hinging areas are intact with no sign of fatigue, cracking, etc. The hinges fit tight. The Bentwood case is VG in condition. I have seen nicer ones- but- I have also seen quite a few rougher ones. It has some scratches and overall age/usage is evident. The handle is original and is in XF condition. Locking action is positive and as designed. The knee bar sits firmly in the case. Extras include: original Singer key. The key is missing for the case lid but you can just use a small screwdriver. The machine is in very nice condition and I think has everything that originally came with it. I put a lot of lights on it to show every imperfection- I did take it to a seamstress who oiled it and tried it out- worked perfect. The wood cover has seen better days, I only ship to the lower 48 US states- it will be shipped either Fedex or UPS so no PO boxes please.

IT IS IN REALLY CLEAN CONDITION AND APPEARS TO WORK PERFECTLY. THE WOODEN CASE HAS ONLY A FEW MARKS ON THE BACK, I DON'T SEE ANY RUST ON IT, ALL THE PARTS MOVE EASILY, BEAUTIFUL DECALS. ALL ORIGINAL! THERE IS A KEY THAT LOCKS THE CASE BUT NOT SURE IF IT WORKS- I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO IT.

Solid oak cabinet. This is a beautiful old Singer“Red Eye” treadle sewing machine in a fully-enclosed, solid oak cabinet. To my knowledge, it has never been restored, but it is in extraordinary shape for its age. I have owned it for the past 40 years and used to use it occasionally as a sewing machine. This is a beautiful and unusual piece of furniture that can also be used for sewing when the electricity goes out. The cabinet is beautifully made from quarter-sawn oak and is generally in great shape. There are small pieces of scrollwork missing on front of the cabinet and a bit of chipping on the top. The machine looks to be in beautiful shape. With the distinctive red, gold and green“Red Eye” design in excellent condition. The distinctive metalwork on the front plate, side cover and brass plaque are wonderfully detailed. The sewing machine has not been used to sew for at least 15 years. 1924 Singer 128 Electric Sewing Machine Knee Pedal Bentwood 3/4 Case
Comes as pictured tested everything ran like it should bobbin went back and forth light turned on. Turned over by hand easily knee pedal is there and works like it should, didn't open knee switch panel, case in very good condition some scratches and marks but solid no holes, lock was tested with key and work SN AA140910 that is what I used to determine the year. Very beautiful machine is like a functional piece of Art. Knee arm work properly may need some adjustment on the belt or a new belt. Original wire.

Antique 1924 singer model 101-2 sewing machine with manual and attachments works
hello for your consideration is this antique 1923 singer model 101-2 this machine was born on april 1st 1924 serial#G0772935 has the potted motor no need for a belt sews very well as you can see in the pictures you will need those parts for this machine to work instead of the regular electric pedal this machine has a rod on the bottom that goes in and out and the lift mechanism also has a rod if you are not familiar with these machines i would recommend you not purchase.there are some mounting screws missing has normal signs of use and could use a good cleaning the manual is ripped any questions please feel free to ask thanks
