Rare Antique Singer Sewing Machine - 1918 Harvester Glove Industrial 105-1
Up for your consideration is this rare Singer sewing machine made in Elizabeth. New Jersey, March 27, 1918. Only 100 were made. The serial number is G6129388 and it is a class 105-1. This is for the head only. The needle bar goes up and down when I turn the balance wheel. The front plate that covers the gears is missing and it needs a belt. It still has some old caked-on oil that I'm sure can be removed; you can see it in the photos in spots such as the brass 105-1 plate on the back. This was used to make harvesters' gloves. There was a piece of blue sueded leather still attached to the upper body. I will include that also. All questions are welcome. If you need more photos. Let me know. 1918 Singer 99K-13 Sewing Machine This is a very nice. Old Singer sewing machine. I was told that this particular model is very nice and pretty hard to find. Comes with the original Bentwood case(no key) Overall condition is good for its age. I'm not sure if it works, I'm not about to plug this thing in to test it. All the parts move, but that's all I know. Could use a good oiling and cleaning. Would make a great display or restoration piece. Serial# reads F8373236. I'm selling this AS IS, so bid accordingly. 1918 Singer Sewing Machine. Model 28. Serial#G6249528. Vibrating Shuttle Model with Plain Plates. Long Bobbin. Imperial Universal Motor. Foot Pedal. Motor and machine work to run it. But I didn't sew anything with it. It will need a cleaning and tune up since it's been in storage for years. Don't know much about it other than what Singer said when called about finding the model and year. They said it was more than likely in a table. And fitted with a motor afterward. There is no manual or accessories with it. The bullet style bobbin is in the bobbin case. Imperial Universal Motor is the manufacturer of the motor. The decals are the Victorian decal set. There is wear on them. As seen in the pictures. The paint is in good shape with only pin scratches. No rust. The carrying case seems to be a generic one. And does not match any ... moreof the shapes I have seen from Singer. It's a square wooden one with an old type of contact paper on it and does have a musty storage smell to the case. This is a Rare Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 115 with Tiffany decals. This machine is similar to the 15-30. But it has a different hook assembly(shuttle) and bobbin case. It is built differently underneath. Serial number G6364916 dates this machine to July 26. 1918. This machine just celebrated its 95th Birthday! This is one of only 25,000 produced in 1918. For references, Singer produced 200,000 models 15's that same year. These numbers are taken from Singers production records. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. The bobbin has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. This machine has a worn appearance. The black paint is flat and worn. The decals have heavy wear in the working and handling areas. The front edge has chipped wear. The decals are darker on the backside. All chrome pieces have an aged appearance. Some parts like the needle clamp and thread tensioner are darker than others. The nose and round plates are dark in the grooves. The bobbin and throat plates have speckled rust dots that have been cleaned. There is no manual. This is a 1918 Singer Sewing Machine. It has a bentwood case with a key. The machine works. It has a Singer foot control. The wiring has been taped up at the controller. We think this was done to keep the wires from pulling apart for support. There is a compartment on top side of machine that has extra bobbins, needles, levers, etc. in it. There is a picture in the drawer of the machine with instructions. The machine looks good. The bentwood case shows lots of wear and age. Pretty scratched up.

Antique 1918 RED EYE Singer 66 Sewing Machine Oak Carry Case & Foot Controller
For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is Model 66"Red Eye" Singer Sewing machine. It comes with the Oak Dome Top Carry Case and Singer Sewing Motor Controller. The Serial Number is G6453051. Indicating a 1918(actually September 17, 1918 to be exact) manufacture date. The Sewing Machine has an Electric Motor. I am not a Sewing Machine guy so please ask questions about what is important to you and I will answer as best I can about performance/ condition. I did plug it in and ran it for a few minutes. I know these should be oiled so I did not run it long as I don't have oil or knowledge to apply it but the motor runs smoothly and puts out quite a bit of power. The motor was driving the rubber belt and therefore the needle was really moving for sewing action. The Foot Pedal wire is frayed from age and should be replaced ... moreso I did not test it. The metal piece on it which would activate the machine when plugged in moves up/ down with ease so I would assume it would work fine once the wire is changed. Photos show condition of the colorful paint(decal? as it is overall in very nice condition. I do not have the key( for locking down the lid. 96 year old Singer Sewing Machine with original Singer light attached. It was manufactured in 1918 by the Singer Manufacturing Co. The serial# is G6301486. Condition: The machine is untested. The electrical plug is loose and I didn’t want to plug it in and possibly get shocked. The belt is broken. There is some surface rust/pitting and the paint is a little rough in spots. Almost looks as if no cloth has ever been ran across it. Machine works fine. Never been restored. Been in an attic for over 50 years. Cabinet does show some age. Has a few spots of venier chipped or missing. Has the drawer attached with some old buttons and parts. Not sure what they are for. You wont find another one like this that hasnt been restored.
