This is a Lock and Rear Latch for an Antique Singer Bent Wood Portable Sewing Machine Case ONLY. It dates from the mid 1920's and fits cases that carry Singer models 15. 66, 99, 127, 128 and 201. Singer makes a couple different styles. This style uses the flat key pictured in the example. There is NO key. I have also pictured the rear(right side) latch and what the receiver from a base should look like. The lock is in good working order. The metal is discolored. It comes with all original mounting hardware. The lock mounting holes are 2-1/2" apart x 7/16" wide. The rear latch holes measure 1-1/2" apart x 1/2" wide. This is a gem of an antique sewing machine. It is in excellent condition. It is very clean and well cared for. Although we have not used it we can confidently say it is operable. It has very nice embossing and gold stenciling. With the lid on it is 14" tall and the base is 20 x 9" The wood looks really good on this with the base having wonderful dovetails. This 1952 Blacklable BLACKSIDE Singer 128 sewing machine is in excellent condition. AK980580(July 23 1952) It is in the CRINKLE finish and looks almost new. The shuttle is in perfect condition. I have serviced this machine and replaced the oil felt. Motorbrushes, bobbin rubber, motor belt. The motor was thoroughly disassembled and cleaned and brushes were replaced. The motor and light wires are in EXCELLENT condition. This machine has the LARGE chrome plated hand wheel. The face and back cover are SCROLL face Blackside. Antique 1922 99K Singer sewing machine Foot switch Bent wood base & cover
This listing is for a Vintage Used Singer sewing machine with vintage labeled wooden base. Serial number Y356848 Machine was plugged in and foot pedal made it run. Light does work. No other test was made. This is out of my area of knowledge. Still I will answer questions as best I can. Also. I know this machine is nice condition but still may need a bit of work. This is machine is padded. Wrapped, packaged& double boxed ready to sent out. Package size is 18 x 19 x 13 weight is 40LBS This is one of two Singer sewing machines that came from a local seamstress. More stuff to list attachments and such. This one dates to 1922 and looks to be in very nice condition. Please note the wiring looks a bit frayed(may just be the outer jacket of braided cloth wire) so you will have to have it look at repaired or replaced. Machine is clean and parts ... moremove as they should. This one has tension adjustment on belt. Looks like it needs a new belt. Included is a new belt still in package. Also. Singer 99 manual. I can raise and lower the foot. Bobbin cover is missing the tension spring clip that allows it to slide back out of the way. Bobbin cover is there. The spring clip which bobbin cover slide on is included. The screw to hold clip is missing and will have to be replaced. One bobbin is included. Comes with foot switch. Which looks to be a newer one. Base& Bent wood cover which has had some reinforcement made to handle inside lid. If you need additional information or other pictures ask prior to purchase. Pictures are part of the description. Vintage 1929 Singer Sewing Machine in Bent Wood Case Machine works as it should and stitches very smoothly. It has the original oil can(note the cute oil can holder attached inside bent wood cover) It also has the original accessory box that is also stored in the bent wood cover and the curved knee controller that also stores in top of bent wood cover. It has the bent wood case with lock and key that still works. The top has a small dent/crack on the top side as can be seen in our photos.

The machine is absolutely beautiful and comes complete with all accessories, including the original manual and attachments box which stores away neatly in a compartment in the cover. The decals are still vibrant, but do show a little wear in places. The cover is also still beautiful, but it does have a few scratches and dings. This machine was made to be a workhorse and it was apparently very well used and very well loved. Purchased at an estate sale, I was told that it stayed in one family until my purchase and that it still works. I have plugged it in and verified that it does get electricity, but I have not sewn on it. It needs to be cleaned and oiled. Hello- here is a Singer Sewing Machine Bentwood dome- carrying case- TOP ONLY. From a 1926"AB" machine- BUT- it may work on your machine. Please measure carefully to find out. No one likes returns. The top measures 17.25 x 8.25(outside) The inside is 15.10 x 7.15. It is 9.5 in height- add an inch for the handle- and you get 10.5 inches. The outside finish was sanded(several times) Refinished, and sealed. I think it looks DARN NICE. The handle is original and in XF condition. A reproduction key is included. The inside is typical- some gouges as are usually found in machines with knee bars. No oil can or knee bar is included. I can include the knee bar bracket and oil can bracket if you want them(I usually take them off when I sand and re-finish) Help yourself is you need this item- and- please check out my other Singer parts- machines ... moreand quilts.
