Antique 1896 Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine w/ Case and Accessories Mod. 128
Fantastic antique hand crank sewing machine. Made by Singer Sewing Co. I looked up the serial number on Singer's website and this machine dates to 1896! WOW! I believe its model 128. It comes with the wood case and a few accessories(see 12th picture) The accessories were inside the side storage compartment under machine. So I assume they go with the machine. I will include them with the purchase and the buyer can do with them as they like. Beautiful marble handle. Everything seems to be in working order. Has a"bullet" type bobbin. Base of machine measures 12" x 6.5" Please remember that this machine is 117 years old, so there is some wear to the paint, decals and wood box. Nothing that affects the performance, but I just wanted to mention it. The chrome on parts of the machine has wear to it(see pictures) This pieces ... moreis heavy- weighing 31 pounds. Antique Singer Sewing Machine Oak Treadle Sphinx N504151 Accessories 1896 Table
Antique Singer Sewing Machine This is an antique'Singer' treadle sewing machine. The last patent date on this is 1896. So this is at least from the turn of the 19th century. This is oak wood with a flat top cover. So you can use this as a table when not in use. The machine folds inside nicely. This has a wonderful gold Sphinx detail on it. Which I have always enjoyed looking at. This also comes with the original pamphlet and puzzle box of accessories. This measures 30" tall. 3' 1" wide, and 18" deep. There are some bobbins in the little front drawer that you are welcome to have as well. Please keep in mind this is an antique and I am selling it as is with no guarantees that it runs like a new machine. This is model number N504151. Local pickup only. Condition: There are no broken parts and the wood is still in lovely ... morecondition. One of the knobs on the drawers is different than the others. Inside is clean. Really great 1896 The Singer Manufacturing Company Catalog-Machines for every stiching process-in nice presentation condition. This is a hard cover book with a raised imprint on the lettering and surrounding design. It shows many factory scenes with all that belt drive machinery. It has a numerical catalog of all the machines made by class and model number. There is a illustration of each class machine in that old style. They made some unusual models. Then there is accessories and even a very early Diehl electric motor motor offered.At the end ids the index. The back cover has a rub mark. This book measures 7 5/8" X 10 1/2" and contains 243 pages. Shipping is by USPS Priority at 4 pounds. Buyer pays all shipping costs.

Antique 1896 Singer Treadle Egyptian Sphinx 7 Drawer Oak / Ornate Cast Iron
This is an 1896 Singer Sphinx in great RUNNING vintage condition. Built to last. It is# 27 and serial# 13795770. The last patent date is 1890. The fine oak, sewing machine, treadle wheel and base, and all 7 drawers are all nice. The wood pan has some veneer issues. What an immense find for a 118 year old Singer. The machine folds inside nicely and I like the gold Sphinx detail although it is worn. These 12 pictures also show the original bobbin and the original treadle base wheels. The original belt is now in a zip bag. Quite dried out and needs a new replacement. One drawer pull handle is missing, and laminate layer is missing from the top leaf cover, and some of the veneer is wavy. There isn’t a manual with it. Nice 1896 Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine From England With Walnut Case
This auction is for a nice& older model Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine complete with it's Walnut"domed" style carring case from England. It woeks smoothly and all moving parts move freely. It has a serail number of 13709017 which dates it made in 1896. The case is in overall good condition and flip type laspe still works to secure the lid. The decals are good overall with some being damaged or rubbed off. It still has it's bobbin& scuttle. These make wonderful item for display in your home or sewing room plus it will still work if you care to give it a try. The only defect I could find is there is some minor pitting on the metal of the base and some of the decals have worn away. I would say that 85 to 90% of the decals are still good to very good. It has a medium Walnut Patina to the case. The Base is in very good ... morecondition without any signs of rot or worm damage. It has some blemishes to the finish(light or dark spots or marks) nicks, dings& scratches to the case as well to the base of the machine from normal use over the years, but for it's age and travels it's in overall good condition and ready to set out and use and enjoy. hello for your consideration is this antique singer model 27 sphinx sewing machine.that some one has converted to an electric machine with a universal 1 amp motor.they did some changes like added a light used a different hand wheel and relocated the bobbin winder using a mount off another machine.it will sew very well when they bolted the motor to the side of the machine theres not much adjustment for the belt and its a little loose.you could take the motor off and use a dremel to make more of an adjustment if this doesnt sell i will part the machine out any questions please feel fee to ask thanks.
