1911 - Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Side Drawer 6 Model 66-16 Red Eye
SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS- RED EYE MODEL 66-116 Up for auction are six drawers and the two internal drawer holders/ cabinets from a Model 66-16 Red Eye Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1911. The drawers are made of quartersawn oak. Both the front of the drawers and sides of the cabinets have carved decorative accents. The drawers measure approximately 11-5/8" deep by 4-3/8" wide. The cabinet portions that hold the drawers measure 14" deep by 5-1/2" wide and approximately 14-3/4" tall. One drawer is missing its circular center pull as shown in the fourth photo. Aside from this flaw. The wood has only a couple of minor dents/ dings, and contact paper has been applied to the interior of the drawers. It comes with a very powerful motor. Working foot pedal, a completely full accessory box and a hard wooden case. The only thing this machine needs to complete the conversion is the belt. 1911 DAVIS VERTICAL FEED SEWING MACHINE MANUAL 24 PARTS, WARRANTY + ACCESSORIES
I am offering a grouping of Davis Vertical Feed sewing machine parts. Manual, certificate of warranty plus some other accessories, which came with the lot. There is a Davis Sewing Machine Warranty certificate dated Sep 15, 1911. It measures 8 1/4" by 5 1/4" It is in delicate condition with yellowing, edge roughness, crease slits and has been folded twice. There is a 44-page Davis Vertical Feed"Directions for Operating" original manual. It is also in delicate condition. The cover is separated from the manual. The back cover is half gone and separated. The last page which shows the parts is half missing. There is yellowing, edge roughness, etc. In addition, there are 24 sewing machine parts which I assume to be for the aforementioned sewing machine. Some have the Davis name on it. One piece is dated 1883. I am no expert ... moreon these sewing machine, but I found all these pieces with the manual and warranty in a box together and so assume them to be from the above. In addition, with the grouping there is a small copper oil can measuring 2 3/4" tall, a red-handled hook of some sort, 2 small black wood handled tools(one a straight screw driver) a larger roller cutter, a metal screw driver and a small 6-inch wood ruler. I believe that all these were used in conjunction with the sewing machine. I have attempted to describe these parts to the best of my ability. This is an antique 1911 Singer Redeye sewing machine. It is in nice overall working condition. Though as any old machine it would benefit from a good cleaning and oiling. It has some light pitting but overall nice color and very little rust. The metal plate that covers the bobbin is a reproduction but the rest of the machine is in nice original condition. This is a very beautiful electric singer sewing machine with single digit serial number dating to 1911 G1473844. It has beautiful silver plates that have leaves and flowers on them. It also has a similar design in gold colored paint, including the name Singer. We pluged it in and the motor turns but the belt seems too old to get it turning. It turns a little but not fast enough, so it could be that there is a certian way to get it going that I'm unaware of, it does come with a How to Use Your Singer Sewing Machine and Attachments Type 66 Manual. It has 36 pages and the copyright date is 1944. It also comes with many attachments and a little label that tells about them. This machine has the"VICTORIAN" decal set which was used by Singer from 1891 to 1941 and can be found the VS2 fiddlebed. 28, and 128 models. This Singer sewing machine is in excellent condition. The hand crank turns smoothly with power and ease. The decal set, VICTORIAN, is in good condition. The paint is in good condition with light wear and a few paint chips. The coffin style top is in good condition with a fully functional lock and key. Antique "White" Brand Sewing Machine 1911- Works - Needs Belt
This beautiful White sewing machine is a lovely piece of craftsmanship. I have had it in my home for years and have received tons of compliments on it. I am downsizing and just no longer have room for it. It is dated 1911. It works. It just needs a new belt. It is in excellent condition. The only thing is that the left side drawer does sag a little, so you have to be very careful when moving it! It has lovely detailed carving all over the piece and has a wood inlaid ruler on the top of the machine. It would make a lovely addition to any home, or for any collector. Antique 1911 Singer Red eye treadle sewing machine 66-1 with 5 drawer oak case +
Includes the remains of the original manual. You might be able to photocopy it as most of it is left, but the paper is starting to chip and decay and fall apart in spots. Most of the instructions if not all are there. Includes some of the feet and attachments in the photos which I rarely get with these types of machines and in such nice condition. Paint loss and wear as well as scuffs and scratches, soiling, and grime on the machine. Though not much in terms of corrosion which I often see with these, this was most likely an inside storage for most of its life vs being put in a garage or barn as I often see. At some point the woman ended up getting the worlds fair attachment as well. Shipping will be one of two options, if your close to a greyhound bus station within reasonable driving distance or USPS. ANTIQUE ELECTRIC KING SEWING MACHINE 1911
I picked this up from a sale. When I first glanced at it I thought it was a Singer. After I got it cleaned up I found out it was a King. I have never seen a King sewing machine, I tried to find some information on this, there is not a lot. I found out that the factory was in\Buffalo New York, and they made the machines to sell to the public, no middle man. They sold for as little as $33.00 and had a 20 year warranty. Sear's and Roebuck eventually contracted the entire output of the King sewing machine and where sold under the Sear's name. The cord on this is cloth and the ends of the cord is missing, we where able to use the cord to check the motor, the motor did work and seam to run smooth, I am not able to check and see how it sews, The belt was broken that goes from the motor to the wheel, It is hard and brittle, I did keep it ... moreso you would know what to buy(if you can still get them) The light you see was with this machine, not sure if it goes with the machine or not, it is dated the same year as the machine. This does not have a foot peddle This also has a vibrating Shuttle and bobbin. I turned the wheel by hand and it turned very smooth, the needle went up and down and the shuttle went back and forth. I can not guarantee how well this works so It will be sold for restoring. The light is also missing the end that you would plug in. This will also need to be cleaned up better. The Singer web site lists the year of manufacture as 1911, the serial number is W6C846. The manuals shown in the pictures have about 20 or more pages of instruction, I did not open the pages do to it being fragile, but the pages can be opened and read with care.

this listing is for a: Restored 1911 Singer Sphinx Model 127 Treadle Sewing Machine That Sews Very Well(see my sew test) operates very smoothly(an electric motor or hand crank can be mounted on this machine) the entire machine has been restored to a close to original looking& working order machine. there are 2 patent dates on the slide plate on the sewing side: Dec 6- 1910& Aug. 1- 1911.also the slide plate says PATENTED CANADA. see the condition description above for some of details of this machine. here's more info: this machine sews very well now(see my sew test) all parts were removed and cleaned(except: the upper shaft. It's end parts, the arm around the upper shaft that moves the shuttle eventually and the inside parts of the stitch length knob.i cleaned what i could reach on these) i polished the parts i could polish. ... moreall parts of the sewing head, the bobbin winder, the tension unit and the shuttle/shuttle carrier(and all the parts in that area) were disassembled, cleaned, polished, oiled were needed and reassembled. ends of cast steel parts that have some movement to them were smoothed-up with a file. the bobbin in the shuttle(that comes with this machine) was wound on the winder and used in the sew test. the set screws for adding hinges to the back side of this machine are in place and cleaned-up. so overall. This is a very nice looking, very smoothly operating and very well sewing machine. this machine has an all metal drive-line that in a sense makes it a semi-industrial machine when compared to modern home sewing machines with plastic gears. Singer designed and made this machine for home/family use. this machine can sew leather. Denim, canvas and other such similar fabrics.it would also make an excellent addition to any sewing machine collection. it uses modern one side flat needles. look at& study my pictures for more detail& visual information. as always. Antique Singer Sewing Machine 66 Red Eye Decals 1911-1930 SN G8889852 Here is a beautiful antique Singer Sewing Machine ~ No. 66. This has red and gold decals. It is referred to as the"red eye" This is a"RESTORATION" project! The Serial Number is G8889852. This would have been made sometime during the time frame of 1911-1930. It is possible that this machine was electrified after production. We do not know if the parts currently on the machine are original or replacements. We plugged in the machine and the light comes on. Depressing the controller starts the motor which increases/decreases the speed properly. The rubber belt is worn/stretched out and does not turn the wheel. The mechanism that holds the needle does move up and down properly. We have not attempted to sew anything with it. The cord on the machine is in nice ... moreshape. The cord connected to the controller has been taped where it plugs into the machine. It works but will need to be replaced. The light bulb is working but it appears that there is a piece missing from the on/off switch. We could not turn the light switch by hand. The decals are in nice shape with some wear which would be expected due to the age of the machine and previous use. Also included are 6 bobbins and 2 packages of 15x1 needles. Both of the packages contain three needles. The case is quite worn with a couple of the corners coming apart on the bottom portion. We have provided quite a few photos of this item. Please view them carefully as they are a part of our description. We are offering this as found. We have only lightly wiped the machine and case with a damp cloth.
