1910 Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model 66 With Oak Accessories Box
Singer sewing machine. Based on the serial number on the plate the information from the Singer website shows this as a 1910 model 66. It works. But has been sitting for years. The"belt" is very dry and brittle(replacements are available on the web) I'm sure I'm using the wrong terminology, but the bobbin carriage could probably use some oil. It's doesn't seem to pickup the upper thread all of the time. There is some minor pitting on the bobbin cover and thread tensioner. It's a beautiful machine, I just don't want to give the impression that it is perfect. Basically this is listed as local pickup only. But feel free to arrange pickup with your own freight hauler. I'll work with you, but unfortunately most people don't realize how expensive freight is.

Awesome antique singer sewing machine that works: light. Needle, pedal, it all works! Built in 1910. Although there were a lot of models made in 1910, they are not all the same in rarity. Some models were produced at 50,000. But only 2,000 were produced of this model, making it more of a collector's item. On a solid wood surface. In very good antique condition. A little of the paint is growing thin in some places, but this is true of all of the ones I have seen. Also, the man I received it from said the belt was loose. Apparently any belt will due according to what I was told, but I don't know for sure. What I do know is I don't think I've seen one online when comparing that didn't have a loose belt. Thorough cleaning both in& out includes high speed cleaning of most metal and bearing surfaces 4. Check mechanical tolerances to manufacturer's specification 5. Check condition of gears and replace as necessary 6. Grease gears and lubricate per factory specifications 7. Check and replace drive and timing belts as necessary 8. Disassemble. High speed clean, and index upper tension assembly for optimal tension control 9. Inspect oscillating/rotary hook. The take-up lever does moving along with the rod that holds the needle. The needle clamp is missing from this machine along with the back panel. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 1910 SINGER SEWING MACHINE EARLY G SERIES MODEL 66 w- Case
This machine is just lovely. The vibrant colors. Some times called Red Eye and the shiny metal which is still brilliant. It is in a case and has been electrified at some point. The serial number is low, G375152, that makes it a 1910 model 66. The patent number on the bobbin cover says 1903 for the last year. They have a Morse 1/15 HP, 1.0 amp, and 115 volt sewing machine motor and supply company motor on it and have added a light. It has it's foot pedal with it. I plugged it in and the light worked but the cord that goes to engine if broken in spots where the coating came off from old age. Machine worked freely when turned and it will sew by hand. It has the bobbin in it and all I did was add thread turn wheel and it worked. The light and motor actually plug into a 2 way plug inside of box. The case is dirty and has paint specks on it. ... moreThe base of box has 2 corners where the material has come unglued but it is still there ready to be glued back on. It has a celluloid handle. The machine has some paint wear on the area that the material would have been. The rest of the paint is good. You can get reproduction stickers on Ebay to bring back to original state. The brass and metal on machine shines like new. It is missing the outer tension knob but you can still use it without. This was part of a relatives antique collection that we are selling through. I really don’t know a whole lot about it. And from what I can tell it’s a model 66. I assume it works, but I really don’t know what I am looking for. When you spin the wheel, the needle moves up and down fine. If I learned anything with antiques, it’s“Don’t clean them if you don’t know what you’re doing” so I am selling it with the dust and all on it. This is the first model(20-1) of a Singer Childs Sewing Machine with the four spoke wheel. C. 1910-1913. The condition is nice overall and everything seems to operate well. It does show signs of age and use with some nickel wear on the wheel surface and some light tarnishing on some of the metal parts, which has cleaned up nicely. The paint is very good as is the lettering and stenciling. It looks better than my description and is a nice example of the earliest Model 20-1 Childs Machine.

All original 1910 machine runs smoothly and quietly. An example of the stitching included. All the compontents- the motor. Cords, belt, bobbin winder, light, etc. are in amazingly good condition. One bobbin is included. The cords are unusually soft and supple, with just about 3 inches of crazed foot control cord about 20 inches from the motor and 3 ft from the foot control.See Picture#12) The decals are also in good condition, except for considerable fading on the top of the arm. That Sews Well& looks nice overall. i fixed-up this machine. basically: i reshaped the check spring. SINGER SEWING MACHINE COMMERCIAL MODEL 1910
Singer Commercial grade sewing machine. Believe to be from 1910 from the serial number. Model 31-15. In good condition considering its age. Has not been used in about 20 years and has been stored covered. Runs but seems not need a tune up and maybe a belt replacement since it seems to slip. The motor sounds quiet but sometimes needs a little spin to get it started. I never used this machine but was used my my father who was an upholsterer. He had it for at least 40 years. Light works and seems that the machine functions properly. Since it is so heavy local pick up is the only available option at this time. Please look at photos carefully to see condition. This is one of the best looking Antique Singer Treadle Red Eye sewing machines I have seen at recent estate sales. The decals look very good with more wear on the backside of the unit. The Singer plate is present on the front rear and is readable. The silver looking ornate plate on the front is clean and secure, the Serial number is present and readable. Also the silver looking cover plate on the rear back is present in good shape but does show some patina appropriate for the age(shown in pic 5) The wheel turns manually back and forth and needle moves accordingly. That is the only functional testing that was conducted. Here's the deal on this one- a true diamond in the rough. Needs to have its cords replaced. And it needs some light cleaning. But it's truly a jewel- look at that detail work! Being sold as is, but everything appears to be functional- nothing is seized or locked up, motor tests fine, etc. The Singer serial number database identifies this machine as a Model 44- only 5000 were ever made, beginning on January the 8th, 1910.

Rare Type#1 4-Spoke Child's Miniature Model 20 Sewing Machine of 1910 to 1913. The machine is complete and original except for the cloth guide. Screw and flat screw driver which are reproduction. There are chips and scuffs to the paint, the logos are worn away in places, and much of the nickel plate is rusty in varying degrees. The machine turns freely and everything operates as it should, but I have never tried to sew with it(although I have read that these machines are hard to use because they don't have the thread tensioner of the later models) The table clamp is the correct one for this machine and is original Singer. Vintage Singer Sewing Machine from 1910 Model 60&D.C. Ser. 996201 Model# G7969102 This adorable machine had been made in 1910. Only 4000 pieces of this beauty had been made until October 28 1910. Great condition for it's age! I plugged it in and it works but I didn't try any sewing. I'm not an expert and do not want to destroy anything on it. Comes with wooden case.
