Singer You are looking at this wonderful antique sewing machine made by the Singer Manufacturing Company. It is the Singer Model 128 with a beautiful and hard to find wooden dome case. It has serial# G8917712 dating it to August 1. 1921. The case is in overall very good condition except for a small crack on the base on one side. The machine itself looks very good as well, there's some light missing paint and some hard black substance on the wiring but otherwise it's very nice. Vintage 1921 Model 128 G Series Singer Sewing Machine La Vincendora
This vintage sewing machine is in very good condition and is a very beautiful machine but the light attachment is not with it. The machine works really well and is very smooth. The carrying case is wooden with a beautiful Singer logo(shown in the pictures) The carrying case is well worn but is still functional with the key included. We have for your consideration this very nice Estate Sale Find; Vintage 1921 Singer 128? Portable Sewing Machine& Case) Thank you for considering this vintage Singer what I believe could be a model 128. I am not an expert in sewing machines nor electronics so this machine is being sold, as is" For Refurbishing and or Repair only" Any and all information I am giving is from research only. And I think you ahead of time for understanding. The machine could be a nice beginning to a refurbishing project and or I do not believe it would take too much just to go through it and get it working as designed. As it was in years past. This nice looking Machine appears to be in good mechanical condition. When I take the belt off of the motor the machine turns over very easily and smooth. 92 Years Old! The machine appears to be needing a complete ... morenew wiring set up. Very Ornate The Wood carrying case will need some repairs as there are some cracks in the bent top and some of the joints are slightly loose. The case top is missing the hasp that you might be able to find. It could still make for a great dust cover for the machine when it is not in use. The Shuttle Bobbin Winder is set up on a Cam system for an even wrap from one end to the other. I did wipe the machine down slightly to clean it up for photos. And the photos contrast were slightly increased to show as much details as possible. The motor appears to run nice and strong. The Serial number is stamped G8915707. The rubber belt appears to be very usable. And I do not know if it is original. The machines Bullet Shuttle Bobbin is still in the machine. The stencils are worn. Vintage 1920-1921 Portable Singer Electric Sewing Machine with Light and knee pedal. You are bidding on a Portable Singer Electric sewing machine This Singer has been in my family for 93 years and still is in good working condition(Needs oil in some spots and a new belt. The old one is loose) The Model number for this Singer is Y147495(See Picture#2) I did some research on this model number and it came up as being made in late 1920 and in 1921 the first Portable electric Singer sewing maching was made and a light was put on to make seeing what you are sewing easier. It is in awesome condition for being 93 years old. It comes with many accesories in the original box and the booklet(See Picture#8) as well. The model is a 99-13. It also comes in a beautiful bentwood box(the inside of the box is scuffed from many years of removing and replacing ... moreit. Up for auction is a very nice. Vintage Singer 128 Sewing Machine with bentwood cover, motor, pedal, light, manual, and accessories. The decals on this machine are very nice and bright, with very little wear. The machine itself appears to be in very good condition. The motor runs but has a few scratches on it(see photos) The cord is intact which goes to the pedal and light. The light and pedal operate well. The machine runs slow and could probably use a little oiling and cleaning. I did not try to run it hard. I have given it a light cleaning and I can imagine how nice it would look if really gone through. The bentwood cover has some issues with a couple of puncture holes, scratches, and a crack on the base near the point where the anchor/hinge bolt attaches. There is also some separation on one end of the cover. A little glue will take care ... moreof this. I try to give as accurate a description as possible. But when all is said and done, this is a very unique looking machine and would look great as a conversation piece or used for what it was intended. Item description: Up for sell is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model# 127 with Sphinx print. The serial number is G9057134 and the model was produced in 1921. Also includes a Champion motor model# 24 and a Universal sewing machine foot control pedal with light and motor block. Condition: The sewing machine is in fair condition and seems to work as it should. I do not know much about these old sewing machines however. The wheel on the back. The needle, and bobbin all move smoothly. One of the slide plates comes on and off easily the other is stuck on the machine. The decals are faded to various degrees over the machine, please see pictures. There is some rust on the base of the machine. I plugged in the motor/light and they both worked, though I tried to test light later and it no longer worked. I assume the light just burnt out ... morebut I cannot confirm why it no longer lights. The belt is to lose and needs replaced. I wiped the machine down lightly, but did not attempt to clean it thoroughly as I did not want to damage the decals. I could get picky about the iron finish, which is not perfect, but it's pretty nice in my opinion. Machine works but needs new belt. Has a many extras including thread. Bobbins, many different attachments, buttons and lots of ribbon. Parlor cabinet in very good condition but could use a good coat of paste wax. This machine was given to me by a friend. It is an heirloom that has been passed down. One cabinet door is off the hinges and one decorative knob is in the drawer and needs to be put back on. The veneer is solid. Practically no wear to base. You are buying an original Singer sewing machine manufactured in 1921. The model is G8569238. Original stand as well. This comes with an Dynamic electric motor that still works. The machine looks fantastic although a bit worn. Table looks great but stratches are visible and could use restoration. But in great shape for 90+ years. Has 4 drawers and pull down drawer in front. The Singer iron stand does have rust on the petal and on sides where emblem is. Could use TLC. Foot pedal along with many extra parts are also included. Antique 1921 Singer Sewing Machine G8994657 w/ Original Blue Case Modern Motor
In this auction we have an antique 1921 Singer Sewing Machine Model number G8994657 with original case and a modern motor. This sewing machine has been tested. The light comes on and the motor hums however the cord to the foot pedal is dry rotted and detached so it is unknown/unclear as to whether or not the machine still works/functions completely and/or properly. The case measures 18" long X 9" wide(at widest point) X 13 1/8" tall. The case itself is in ok condition with damage to one of the top most corners and some stains and discoloration all around. The machine itself measures 10 1/8" tall X 7" wide X 16" long(front to back) The machine is in good to ok physical condition as well with some age and wear related discoloration and part of the words The Singer Manufacturing Co. scratched off on top of the machine ... moreitself. This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 66-1 with Red Eye decals. This machine has a rear clamping foot. Serial number G9082301 dates this machine to December 6. 1921. I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! I also list all"detailed" positives and negatives. So there are no surprises when your machine arrives. I even provide video proof that this machine works! This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The machine is 100% functional! All knobs turn with ease. Sewing machine head only. In working condition. Moves freely. I've given it a basic dusting and an oiling, but it could use a good cleaning. It has surface rust on the endcap of the handwheel. It has chips in the enamel along the edge. It needs a new spring in the bobbin winder, it is the one that keeps the whole mechanism up. The one that snaps back when the bobbin is full works. this listing is for a: Beautiful Restored 1921 Singer Model 15-30 Treadle Sewing Machine that sews Excellent Stitches(see my sew test) operates very smoothly(an electric motor or hand crank can be mounted on this machine) the entire machine has been restored to a close to near-new/original looking& working order machine. i replaced the slide plate. Spool pin, bobbin winder tire with new parts. i added a red spool pin felt and a washer under the fabric guide part. this machine is currently set-up to be used as on a Singer treadle base(the 2 set screws that secure the hinges have been cleaned-up and are in their proper places) it can also be turned into a electric motor powered or hand crank powered machine. the fitting area for these possible changes is located under the hand wheel on the vertical column. i removed. Cleaned, polished(where ... moreable) all parts on this machine except: the inner parts of the stitch length lever, the upper shaft(and both of it's end parts) the lower hook shaft. i touched-up maybe 3% of the original decals on this machine. the other 97% or so didn't need it. i repainted all the black paint areas on this machine including the hand wheel, bobbin winder and the underside of the machine. i then protected the upper side and it's parts with 2 coats of gloss polyurethane. some small pin point size air bubbles seem to have been trapped in the last coating. they're not very noticeable at all.but they can be felt by hand.about one every inch or so scattered about the top side of the machine. yeah, i'm still learning and my techniques& skills are still improving as well.fortunately. anyway. This machine sew tested perfectly the first time i tried it(that's the sew in the pictures) without any adjustments anywhere(yeah, i'm good: after i got done putting it back together with great care& very well. as always: the bobbin winder(which works well now) the tension unit, all the part on the sewing head, the hook/bobbin case area& all the drive line parts were com
