Antique Singer Sewing Machine This is an antique'Singer' treadle sewing machine. The last patent date on this is 1896. So this is at least from the turn of the 19th century. This is oak wood with a flat top cover. So you can use this as a table when not in use. The machine folds inside nicely. This has a wonderful gold Sphinx detail on it. Which I have always enjoyed looking at. This also comes with the original pamphlet and puzzle box of accessories. This measures 30" tall. 3' 1" wide, and 18" deep. There are some bobbins in the little front drawer that you are welcome to have as well. Please keep in mind this is an antique and I am selling it as is with no guarantees that it runs like a new machine. This is model number N504151. Local pickup only. 1902 Singer Treadle Sewing machine Sphinx with case
1902 Singer Sphinx sewing machine with old wooden case. The stenciling looks goo for the most part the back has some wear on the stenciling as shown. I turned the inner knob and the needler goes up and down. I am not an expert on this machine but it looks in good clean condition. It does have a serial number on it that I researched on a Singer site to come up with the date. If you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them. The case has a lock mechanism on each side that keeps the bottom and top together. Some of the paper is peeling off the side.

It is in working condition and came off of an Oak Cabinet with cast iron Treadle machine base. The Oak veneer and some of the wooden aspects of the cabinet were in worn condition but previous. This Machine is very clean and all parts appear to move and function as intended. The metal rod that holds the thread was misplace when previous owner was readying it for sale. There is some paint/ decal wear but overall the colors and design are still strong. the bobbin is present as is the needle. I am including the original hinges hardware and screws which attach the Machine to the cabinet. The hinges are attached to the machine in the photos. This Antique Treadle Sphinx Sewing Machine Head has been gently restored. Everything on the machine moves freely but it has not been tested in use. The high resolution pictures can be zoomed in to view details. What does gently restored mean? The overall objective is to preserve as much as the old tool or item with its lifetime patina as possible without the use of power tools. This machine was cleaned using mineral oil. After letting the oil“soak in” for a day or so. It was wiped cleaned with a dry cloth. A couple of items should be noted. This gentle process does not remove all rust or dirt, etc, as there is always a balance of limiting restoration to not affect patina. This machine may have residual oil left in the cleaning process. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The decals are good with nice color except for the main decal on the deck. That has heavy wear. There is also light wear along the front right edge. The finish on the deck has a bunch of needle marks were it is worn. The decals are darker around the oil holes. All chrome pieces have an aged appearance. Some parts like the needle clamp and thread tensioner are darker than others. The nose and round plates are a little dark in the grooves. The bobbin and throat plates are in good condition with fine scratches. There is no manual. This listing is for an antique Singer sewing machine. I do not know anything about these but from what I can tell one of the slide plates and needle is missing. Everything else seems fine. It has some signs of wear and needs cleaned up but when I turn the wheel the mechanism moves up and down like it should. Ships to USA only, paypal only. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model 127 Sphinx YR 1921 Champion Motor
Item description: Up for sell is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model# 127 with Sphinx print. The serial number is G9057134 and the model was produced in 1921. Also includes a Champion motor model# 24 and a Universal sewing machine foot control pedal with light and motor block. Condition: The sewing machine is in fair condition and seems to work as it should. I do not know much about these old sewing machines however. The wheel on the back. The needle, and bobbin all move smoothly. One of the slide plates comes on and off easily the other is stuck on the machine. The decals are faded to various degrees over the machine, please see pictures. There is some rust on the base of the machine. I plugged in the motor/light and they both worked, though I tried to test light later and it no longer worked. I assume the light just burnt out ... morebut I cannot confirm why it no longer lights. The belt is to lose and needs replaced. I wiped the machine down lightly, but did not attempt to clean it thoroughly as I did not want to damage the decals. There are also some scratches on the main decal. The decals are darker on the backside. The paint on the deck has some scratches and wear. The rest of the machine has common signs of use. All chrome pieces have a nice aged appearance. Some parts like the needle clamp and thread tensioner are darker than others. The nose and round plates have some small blemishes. The bobbin and throat plates have darkened areas towards the edges. The front plate is patent dated 1910. The bobbin winder has a new rubber wheel and works. There is no manual. Rare Vtg Antique 1904 Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Sphinx Walnut Parlor Cabinet
Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Here is a fabulous find- a vintage Singer Treadle Sewing Machine in Parlor Cabinet. This machine has a serial number of J578575- according to the Singer website. This machine was made in 1904. It is housed in the original wooden cabinet. The cabinet is a nice, warm dark brown wood, I believe it is walnut. It is a Parlor Style Cabinet- the machine glides straight down into the cabinet when you push the button, instead of folding down like other models. The cabinet has a line of drawers on one side- the other side has what looks like is an identical line of drawers, but this is really a door. When all closed up, this has the look of a wooden table or cabinet- none of the sewing machine is visible. The Machine itself is in very good shape- it is a Sphinx model. There is an old belt included and when you pump the ... moretreadle, the wheel spins freely and the needle goes up and down smoothly. The cabinet, when closed, measures 34 x 17 inches and is 29 inches tall. The cabinet has typical signs of wear and tear- this is 110 years old- but is in overall good condition. You can see in the photos that most of the drawer and door hardware pulls were removed at some point. The lower doors will need new hinges. Some wear, rings, and scratches on the finish, but the wood is in overall good shape. There is also a group of accessories included with this machine- some instruction booklets, needles, bobbins, etc. see photo for all that is included. This will make a wonderful restoration project! Up for auction from an estate cleanout comes this listing for a vtg. 1902 Singer treadle sewing machine head only. This was taken off of the treadle housing. The drawers and frame are listed separately for those interested. This is being described as found and sold as is with no returns. This Singer sewing machine has the serial number K392125 which dates this at 1902. The needle did go up and down when the wheel turned while mounted. This was taken out of the basement where it appeared to have sat for years. This machine does need to be restored/cleaned up as it has dirt and surface rust buildup on it. 1901 Singer Sewing Machine Model 27 Sphinx: cabinet+access incl/no treadle
This is a Singer Sphinx Model 27. Serial number L 969294. According to the Singer website, it was manufactured in 1901. The machine was retrofitted so that the treadle has been removed and had an electric motor/pedal attached. Unfortunately. The motor gave out, but I got a lot of great sewing done on it before the electric components failed. The machine itself is still in great shape. If you wanted to use it, you would just need to install a new motor. I have a bag of what I believe are the original accessories. The cabinet is solid wood and has wear on its finish. The detailing on the machine also shows wear. That said. I got a lot of great use out of it, and it is a very pretty machine- especially the sphinxes! Local pickup in Brooklyn.

Nice all original Singer model 27 Sphinx 1905 cast iron treadle sewing machine base. Appears to have been clearcoated at one time to stop rusting. Overall good condition except for tie rod on treadle is rusted thru and broken as shown in next to last photo.Dimensions are 28H X 22W X 19D. Very heavy piece around 60lbs packed and ready to ship. NICE Serviced Antique 1907 Singer 27-1 Sphinx Treadle Sewing Machine See Video
This is an Antique Singer Treadle Only Sewing Machine Head. Model 27 with Sphinx decals. The front bobbin cover has an 1891 patent date on it! Serial number H1122360 dates this machine to March 5. 1907. I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! I also list all"detailed" positives and negatives. So there are no surprises when your machine arrives. I even provide video proof that this machine works! This is a"treadle only" machine. It does NOT have a hub(boss) located below the balance wheel to mount a hand crank or motor. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. It is now 100% functional! The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch ... moreis equal on both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine in the video is NOT INCLUDED and is NOT FOR SALE. It for demonstration purposes only! Overall. The paint is a little dull. The decals are mostly in tact with light wear. There are common scratches and nicks from use. The decals are a little darker on the backside. The rear top Singer decal has wear at the end. The paint is nicked along the front edge. Most chrome pieces are in good condition. They are blemished with an aged look. Some parts like the bobbin winder and balance wheel release knob are darker than others. The nose and round plates are dark in the grooves. The bobbin cover has an 1891 patent date. The bobbin covers have small dots and scratches. It comes with 1 bobbin. The bobbin winder has been oiled, tested and works. There is no manual but I will send a free pdf copy of a Singer VS2 manual to the email address linked in your PayPal account after payment is received. Antique VTG Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Memphis Sphinx 1898
Here is an antique Singer"treadle" sewing machine. Serial number is 15510997. Which I believe dates this to 1898. Machine is as found. I have not cleaned or tested. All parts move freely. Paint seems nice for it's age. Please ask any questions as I am not an expert.
