From my research I believe this is most likely to be a Model 24-1: The Decal Pattern is'floral' also called'small flowers' and/or'decal pattern#19' The Cloth Plate is'silver' the Tension is'manual' The operation is'treadle' and The Spool Pin is'right back' Most of the decals are in Excellent shape. The Cloth Plate is good. Not perfect, but good. It has some loss, scratches and wear. Not rusty. This machine is well over 100 years old and still sews very nicely. The photo shows the machine going from a long stitch to a shorter one. Please excuse the operator for he is a rank novice. The cabinet has 6 drawers with beautiful wooden design applied in near perfect condition. The cast iron portion of the cabinet has virtually no rust. As you can see in the photos of the cabinet: The veneer is coming off of the top boards and needs work. Some of the applied design in the center front has come off and needs some work. These are for ... moreSinger frames with the Singer logo located across the center support. Quantity: 2 screws with each order. It is a generic photo. But all screws are similar. These screw into the center support and hold the sides on. They are located center bottom and about 2/3 up the side. They are pictured circled in yellow. The bolt shafts are 1-1/4" long and 1-1/2" total length. They are 3/8" diameter and seem to be about 18 threads per inch. Don't forget to follow"The Treasure Cellar" on facebook! It is in a case and has been ... moreelectrified at some point. The serial number is low, G375152, that makes it a 1910 model 66. The patent number on the bobbin cover says 1903 for the last year. They have a Morse 1/15 HP, 1.0 amp, and 115 volt sewing machine motor and supply company motor on it and have added a light. It has it's foot pedal with it. I plugged it in and the light worked but the cord that goes to engine if broken in spots where the coating came off from old age. Machine worked freely when turned and it will sew by hand. It has the bobbin in it and all I did was add thread turn wheel and it worked. The light and motor actually plug into a 2 way plug inside of box. The case is dirty and has paint specks on it. The base of box has 2 corners where the material has come unglued but it is still there ready to be glued back on. It has a celluloid handle. The machine has some paint wear on the area that the material would have been. The rest of the paint is good. You can get reproduction stickers on Ebay to bring back to original state. The brass and metal on machine shines like new. It is missing the outer tension knob but you can still use it without. Again you can replace from Singer or Ebay and you can get a free manual also from the Singer site. If I can answer any questions just let me know.

From my research I believe this is most likely to be a Model 24-1: The Decal Pattern is'floral' also called'small flowers' and/or'decal pattern#19' The Cloth Plate is'silver' the Tension is'manual' The operation is'treadle' and The Spool Pin is'right back' Most of the decals are in Excellent shape. 1900 Antique Industrial Singer Sewing Machine: Model 31-15, Sews Leather Easily
i was a Viking certified repair technician for their sewing machines. Sergers and quilting machines. i repaired all brands and ages of sewing machines for ~ 4 yrs(then my mother sold her business in April 2011) i probably repaired& tuned-up 1,000 machines or more. This auction/listing is for an: Antique Industrial Singer Sewing Machine: Model 31-15 that was manufactured in the year 1900. this machine sews well and sews leather very easily(by just turning the very smoothly operating hand-wheel. As i did for my leather sew test examples shown in my pictures) i've cleaned, oiled, adjusted(this machine is set-up to sew leather presently.it sews regular fabrics too.just change the needle, adjust the tensions and presser foot pressure if needed) when beginning to sew with this machine, keep the threads pulled toward the back of the machine(under ... morethe presser foot) and also angled toward the right. once the tensions are good(for me, a rather lose bobbin tension and a tighter upper tension worked best) and the initial stitches are set and good, this machine sews very well. i used Maxi-Lock 100% polyester serger thread for my sew tests on leather that are shown here. these threads were strong and worked well. i hand-wound the bobbin i used and the thread on the spool. here i will re-post what i posted above about this machine: there's no instruction manual.there's visible wear to the machine's original black paint(looks like it was repainted around the sewing area)there's no upper tension disc release pin.i added a strong wire to hold the check spring in place.the needle plate, the first thread guide, the leather hand-wheel belt and the presser foot are from another model 31-15 machine(made in 1926.the belt looks like a treadle belt so it may be from this 1900 machine's period or earlier) that i'm also working on now. seems like about 60-70% of the original decorative design and lettering still remains on this machine's exterior. this machine is available for local pick-up only. it's

1900 Singer 27 Sewing Machine, PHEASANT Decals, Serial N372213, Antique Original
This early Singer model 27 comes straight from my personal collection and is in very nice condition! The serial number N372213 dates this machine to 1900. I merely wiped the dust off this machine with a little Singer oil.it is being offered in original. Unrestored condition. Everything moves freely as it should and the feed dogs are sharp and intact.this machine should sew with ease(though I have never tested it) The gold color on the bobbin winder and lower mechanism is from old, dried oil, not rust. The nickel-plating on this machine should polish well. The decals, as shown in the photos, are in quite nice condition, with minimal wear.better than what is usually found. There are areas with some loss to the gilding, revealing a more silver tone. Included are both original slide plates, shuttle, and one bobbin. The front slide plate slides ... morewith difficulty.very tight fit. The back slide plate was inserted incorrectly and is stuck in place.I did not try to force it off. Overall a lovely early Singer 27 with better-than-average Pheasant decals. Please feel free to ask additional questions prior to bidding. FOREMOST- I DON'T KNOW A DANG THING ABOUT ANTIQUE SEWING MACHINES- so please understand this going into this bid! This was an inheritance piece from my grandmother who used to use it all the time. I cannot say whether it currently works because I'm wary of plugging it in- though the cords to the pedal and the sewing machine look intact and fine. The patent dates are 1900-1903. I assume this is indicative of its manufacture date. By searching on the web I came up with this being a"filigree" model(in reference to the finely decorated adornments) however am not exactly sure this is a model or just appropriated nick name. It comes with a foot pedal. Cords, has a small storage compartment, and"tips up" on hinges to reveal a large storage unit underneath. I do not have a key for the wooden case and it does not lock to ... moreclose. All in all- a beautiful and I'm sure functional portable unit of fine crafted American industrial age machinery! Singer Sewing Machine No. 66 Serial Number: N511848. October 29, 1900. This seems to be a Singer Sphinx based on the design. This piece has some wear but appears to be in working order as far as I can tell. With all original parts. The pedal moves, as does the wheel. A wooden piece broke off of the bottom of the drawers on the left side but the piece is included with the sewing machine and can be fixed. Included with the machine are various parts in their original container. As well as the original booklet that has some wear and is missing some pages but it seems to be intact for the most part. Everything in the pictures is included and in the condition that it is seen. This would make a great restoration project. Or decoration as is.
