This part was removed from a running model 128 machine with a serial number of G0161326 which dates it to 1923. Light is marked"Singerlight Simanco USA" Light socket tests good via a multimeter test. There is no bulb and the switch is missing the red plastic covering on the"on" push button. The cloth wire shows wear on the cloth. I believe this part will also fit model 127 and possibly more. There is no knee bar but im sure it can be found here on ebay. I plugged the machine in and slid lever over under black cover to test and the machine works great as does the light. Case is also in amazing condition. Some outer fabric fraying on wire by motor but no exposed wire. Many extra pieces included and those little spools in pic are metal. Any questions please ask. This auction is for a vintage Singer Sewing Machine. The Serial number is G0160939. According to the Singer Website. Its a 1923 model 128. Its in fair condition with its fair share of chipped paint, scuffs and scratches and messed up decals. Please see the photos. It turns fine though it could probably use a good cleaning and a tune up. I don't think I could ever talk my wife into using it. The motor runs however the belt is missing so it is running with no tension on it so can't really test it beyond that. The case is solid though I do not have the key so can't lock it. It could certainly benefit from a good sprucing up and rehabbing. Don't miss out on a great deal. Machine runs smoothly by spinning the lower wheel by hand. I do not have the rhythm to actually pump the treadle. I have oiled some points on it. The cabinet is as found. No refinishing has been attempted Top has water damage causing veneer to separate. Top also missing a 4 1/2 X 5/8 inch piece of veneer on top front right-hand corner. Drawers work smoothly and do not bind. It has been in my living room for 30+ years. Also included is a manual- missing front and back covers and pages 1 and 2. Pages 3.4,5,6, 35, 36, 37, 38 are loose and very tattered. pages 7 thru 18 are paired with 23 thru 34. Missing pages 19 thru 22. Also included are some attachments or parts of attachments. Using the manual as a guide, I see a foot hemmer, an adjustable hemmer, and a ruffler( the item or parts of the item)

This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 15-30 with Tiffany decals. Serial number G0225272 dates this machine to August 27. 1923. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. It is now 100% functional! The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine and the hand crank in the video are NOT INCLUDED and are NOT FOR SALE. They are for demonstration purposes only! It comes with 2 bobbins. The nose and round plates are in good condition with some discoloration and are a little dark deep in the grooves. The throat plate and bobbin cover have some wear. There is no manual. 1923 Singer Model 128 Sewing Machine, La Vencedora Decals, Original, Excellent!
This exceptional antique Singer sewing machine is fresh from a Saginaw. Michigan estate. It is being offered in ORIGINAL, estate-fresh condition. The condition of the enameling and decals is so amazing that I should probably keep this machine, however will pass it along to you for a reasonable price. It is a model 128 and the serial number G0151841 dates it from 1923. The decals, known as"La Vencedora, are in wonderful condition with very minimal wear. Any white spots are from my camera flash, not wear. The original nickel-plated parts are still bright and shiny with no rust. While I have not tested the motor, it appears to be in good condition…the balance wheel turns easily. It is housed in the original walnut bentwood case, which has age-appropriate scuffs and scratches, but no chips or damaged veneer. Included are the original"Singer"marked ... moremotor, motor-controller, and"Singerlight. The wiring is either in excellent condition or has been replaced. Also included are many accessories: Singer"marked screwdriver, six bobbins, shuttle, original key, thread snips, tin oiling can, an early tube of Singer motor lubricant(hardened) and ten additional needles! I can not say enough positive things about the originality of this machine and its many accessories. The original decals are at least 95% present and are bright and crisp. Singer Redeye Red Eye 66 Sewing Machine G9771244 1.0 Amp.1923 Manual Attachments
There is paint chipped and worn off mostly on the bed. The sides and top aren't as bad. Much of the silver color is worn off the hand wheel. The machine and case smell musty. I cleaned the machine some and oiled it but it probably could be shined up more. I ran it and it works fine. It takes right off and don't have fingers in the way. I wound a bobbin, sewed different lengths of stitches and sewed through 6 layers of denim with no problem. The case is rough. The attachments included are shown in the picture. Old and well used. As with all old singers it has a nostalgic effect to its' look. It does not work and I could not find any shop to look at it. It is missing one of the metal pieces over the bobbin case. The wiring is frayed. The decorative paint is wearing off with a couple of spots down to the metal on the bottom. Please see pictures. Has a metal foot. The gears move well. No case. The sewing machine is very heavy. 30 pounds not including the packing. I will send an invoice after packing. Please see my other listings as I have another Singer Treadle Machine in its original cabinet for sale* Here is a Singer Parlor Treadle Sewing Machine from 1923 that comes in its original oak cabinet. The serial number is G0089501(checking Singer's website. This serial number dates the machine to 1923) I am not that familiar with treadle sewing machines so I will describe this beautiful piece of Americana to you to the best of my ability: The coloring and writing on the machine is fairly strong although there are areas of staining and fading as well as scratch marks and other wear(on the hardware also) The needle moves up and down when you turn the balance wheel and it seems most of the parts of the machine are still in tact(although the bed slide is missing) The machine appears to have converted at some point to electric as there is ... morea very old and frayed piece of electrical cord cut off at the back of the machine. There is also a light attachment with the original cord. The treadle does work(although a little tight at times) and has a belt attached from the band wheel to the machine. The oak cabinet measures approximately 24" wide x 29" high x 18" deep and is clean with no major chips or cracks in the wood. The top of the cabinet is a very interesting design as it is made up of numerous small wooden slats. There are some missing slats on the left side. The finish has faded over the years but the wood is still strong. There are 4 metal wheels that still work great allowing you to move the machine easily. There is also a neat drawer inside the cabinet that still has the original hardware with a small key to open and close it and it slides in and out nicely. It seems this machine may still be functional but if not it is still a beautiful item that would display nicely in your home. They look pretty cool. It appears that most of the attachments are specific to this machine(they have the same look) and I tested some of the extra foot attachments and they did fit, but the metal bobbin appears to be a more modern version. The sewing machine itself is in remarkable cosmetic condition. The colors are bright and vivid. The treadle works great. Please note that as I was attempting to sew with the machine the thread kept coming out of the needle. I'm not sure. But it could be just that the tension needs to be adjusted or I didn't thread it properly. Unfortunately, I am not familiar enough with all the knobs and loops on the machine so unsure as to the thread tension and threading. The cabinet, which has caster wheels, has normal wear and imperfections to the finish being that it's antique. It has a small missing wooden piece on the back side. Beautiful Restored Repaired 1923 Singer Sphinx Model 127 Electric Sewing Machine
this listing is for a: Beautiful Repaired. Restored& Serviced Electric Motor powered 1923 Singer Sphinx Model 127(sometimes called an Egyptian or Memphis) Sewing Machine that sews very well. it is using a.9 amp Delco motor. i repaired& fixed-up this beautiful 1923 electric(or hand crank compatible) sewing machine. repeating from above first) basically: i replaced the bobbin winder thread guide spring. This is a Serviced Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 66-1 Upgraded to a 66-4 with Red Eye decals. This has the side clamping foot so it can use the common Singer low shank side clamping feet. Singer started using the side clamping foot for the 66 in March. 1923, which made the 66-1 become the 66-4. All other 66's were rear clamping feet before March, 1923. This machine was upgraded at some time to give it the side clamping foot. Serial number G9746742 dates this machine to January 9. 1923. I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! Up for bid is this antique Singer Sewing Machine. After speaking with Singer I found out that this particular sewing machine was made in 1923 and it is a model 128. I plugged in the sewing machine and the sewing machine moves but the speed varies. That is the only testing that has been completed. It may need a little work to it to be fully operational. But the old belt broke, obviously because of it’s 85 years old. The wood cabinet is the swing type(very uncommon) and has an interior shelf and locking drawer. The drawer locks and has a key. Included with this antique sewing machine are several attachments and bobbins that were in the lockable drawer inside the cabinet. A COPY of the original manual is also included. This is not the original manual from 1923. But a copy that was copied off of the Singer Sewing Machine website, as per their direction. This is a beautiful sewing machine. The sewing machine has a fair minus appearance with general scratches and wear from normal signs of use. Could use a real good cleaning. In addition there are a few areas of oxidation. There are chips along the edged and the paint has some nicks here and there. The decals are at least 80% complete.
