Vintage Toy Sewing Machine & Old Doll with clothes and Box Germany Thimble
This auction is for a vintage toy sewing machine. Old doll and old doll clothes in what appears to be the original box. The sewing machine shows wear and has light rust in spots and has the original clamp, screwdriver, thimble and needles. The sewing machine is a little tight when rotated. The machine states"Made in Germany. There is an old doll in the box which also contains doll clothes and embroidered doll blankets and cloth doll clothes patterns. VERY UNUSUAL ESTATE FIND- ORIGINAL MADE IN GERMANY TOY/SALESMAN SAMPLE HAND CRANK SEWING MACHINE. ORIGINAL ORNATE BOX, KEY, CLAMP, SCISSORS& 1 NEEDLE. Sometimes you'll fiind the sewing machine but usually not with everything included in this package! Sewing machine plate is marked Made in Germany with an Eagle symbol. Scissors also marked Made in Germany and are very ornate also. Bottom of box is a light pink/red/orange that looks like the interior of the box& is also lightly marked Made in Germany. The entire set is is in very good overall condition and shows some wear/aging as would be expected of a piece this old. Box has beautiful greens/red/gold that looks embossed/veneer on the wood. We have not tested or tampered with this in any way. In this case. As collectors know all too well, the details here are in the box& accessories, ... moreincluding the key on original string. The box is sturdy wood. Not cardboard. It has the ornate veneer on the lid and front areas of the box. The other sides of the box are stained wood, appears to me to be oak but I am not a wood expert. Dovetailed on the edges with hinged lid. The piece of elastic on the inside top lid that probably held needles in place has torn in one place with age but it is still all there, not sure if that is visible in the photos but wanted to make you aware of that. This is a 1920's Antique MULLER No. 19 Toy Cast Iron Sewing Machine. It measures 6 3/8" high to the base of the thread pin and is 6 3/4" x 9 3/4" across the feet. It was Made by Freidrich Wilhelm Muller Junior. Berlin Germany. The Bottom of the Base is Marked"KT 1. 401" It Operates Fine but Missing the Arm Cover. It is Also Missing the Two Steel Pins that Hold it to the Base on which it Tilts. The Needle Screws, and the Set Screw that Holds the Lower Shaft in Position. There is Some Missing Paint Primarily on the Arm and Base's Upper Edges, see photos. Overall it Displays Well but Would be Nice to have the Arm's Pressed Steel End Cover. i am downsizing my collection. This is a painted antique childs toy sewing machine. When I bought this it had this thread on the top so I just left it there. There is wear to the paint and rust. You are bidding on what I believe is an antique Muller#4 Child's toy sewing machine with it's original box and accessories that was made in Germany. It has a bird and berries design on both side. It is marked made in Germany on the picture on the box lid and on the top of the base on one side of the sewing machine. The top of the sewing plate is marked No. 111026. The needle moves up and down and piece that moves the material moves back and forth when the hand crank is turned. It looks to be in pretty good overall condition. It has some dings. Dents and scratches from use. There is some wear. Crazing, chips and missing areas in the paint. There is some wear and missing areas to the plating. The box shows signs of wear, the corners and edges have some splits, tears and missing areas. It could use a good cleaning and lubrication. Decorated with a nice Tole painting design and all the parts move. There is some light oxidation and finish wear on the bottom. It measures 7 1/2" tall. 8" long and 4 1/2" wide. As this was technically considered a"learning" machine for young ladies new to the domestic arts. It features a lot of fun details that wouldn't normally be seen on a full-sized sewing machine. The black, tin body of the machine is covered in vibrant lithographed imagery. As you can see, the base is accented with Deco-style symmetrical lines in fun shades of red and gold. Each side features the"Casige" name under the company's Eagle logo. The decals on this example was found on just one other machine while doing research, and it was referred to as'Fairy Tale. Beautiful Rare Plank Childs Toy Sewing Machine from Germany - near mint
I'm doing a little thinning of my toy sewing machine collection and offering this really outstanding antique child's toy sewing machine. The only reason I'm selling this one is that I found one with the same decals in equally good condition but it has a wood base so I decided to let this one go. The paint and decals on this machine are near perfect. It was made by the Ernst Plank company in German in the 1920s. It's minor flaws are a missing nut from the top of the spool pin but it has the spring and disc. There is a small scratch and a little rough spot on the chrome of the sewing plate. And a little discoloration of the metal spool pin. The hand wheel turns smoothly. A person could search for years and never find another Plank machine in this great condition. F.W. MULLER MADE IN GERMANY MODEL 20 TSM TOY SEWING MACHINE FREE SHIPPING
First. I need to say that I'm not an expert on toy sewing machines. I've been given these to sell on consignment but the lady(from whose collection these came) has moved several times, the latest into a Care Facility, and most records became lost. I've done my best to research, date and describe these machines but if anyone viewing this or any other TSM sale I have has any information I heartily encourage you to please step forward and share it. Although this TSM has no name or model# written on it. From my researches(and some kindly input from a TSM expert) I believe this TSM to be a F.W. Muller Model 20 made in Germany. It is cast iron, fairly heavy, and in pretty good shape. The colors and gold fret work are good and the chrome plate is decent. The number on the stitch plate is a serial number. Muller stamped SNs on their stitch ... moreplates, no significance that anyone is aware of except for production count purposes. The wheel turns well and the sewing action is good although there is no longer a needle. This particular toy sewing machine is quite likely from the 1920s and was very well taken of, considering its age. This TSM would probably be considered a display piece at this point and no longer a toy. F. W. Mueller Antique Child's Sewing Machine ~MADE IN GERMANY~ This style of Mueller"Bird of Paradise" Toy Sewing Machine was designed and produced in Germany around 1910. It became a popular toy machine with children and adults because of the colorful designs on the body. This model continued being manufactured until 1939. The beginning of WWII. From researching other Mueller machines, I believe this machine dates to around 1915-1920? The machine features a sturdy metal(referred to in Mueller descriptions as"sheet iron" base and body decorated with birds amid a colorful floral motif of red, greens, and gold. Shows wear and rust with loss of detail& color overall-mostly on the front. All the necessary parts seem to be attached and move as intended. The crank wheel has a wooden knob that turns(a bit stiffly) Moving ... morethe needle holder up and down. No needle is included. A working lever even raises and lowers the presser foot. The thread spindle still holds an old spool of thread. I haven't tested the machine to see if it works. But I t hink all the parts are present but may just need some adjusting. Listed is a Vintage Antique Muller#4 Toy Sewing Machine measuring aprox. 5-7/8" tall x 4-7/8" long x 2-1/2" wide. It has the Fiddle Base and the Birds& Berries Design. The base top has Made in Germany in gold paint and the number 106022 is stamped in the metal plate. This little sewing machine is pre WWII and has a hand crank. CONDITION:Shows signs of wear due to use and age. The black paint has areas of crackling and has worn. More to the top base of the machine, and there are light rust areas on the sewing plate edges, wheel and metal attachments that could be gently sanded. It does need a good over all cleaning/polishing and I will leave that to someone who knows more about how to clean this antique sewing machine. It stands 7' tall to the top of the thread spool holder. Everything is working. And moving. The sewing machine weighs 1 pound pictured. It has an Eagle perched on a key on the sewing table. It says made in Germany. It is hand operated. The sewing machine retains most of the original black paint. There is some chips and nick of paint missing. There is some minor areas of surface rust. I will be cleaning our attic. So make sure you view often for some new and vintage items. Up for auction is this vintage, probably 1940's or 1950's, toy sewing machine Diana Made in Germany Schuphoff Original. The wood base is 8.5" x 4.5" and the metal machine is 6" tall x 6.5" x 3" On both side it is marked Diana with a stencil and the sewing plate is etched Schuphoff Original. I had this up in our attic, since I no longer have a toy room to display. There is some scuffing from display and storage, and some scratches and paint peeling, not too bad-you can see this in pictures. You can turn the wheel on back and the needle moves up and down. I have not tried working it. There is a piece that is loose under the chrome plate in front, not sure what this piece is for. Antique Original Toy Sewing Machine - Tiny 5" - Germany - Casige
This tiny sewing machine is in fair to good condition. It is by Casige and is German. Dates pre- WW II. I loved having it in my collection because of its tiny size. About 4" long and 5" tall(including spool pin) and 1 3/4" wide. It is numbered 62509. The wheel turns but there is a broken piece right in the front that comes loose when turned(see picture) The needle moves but I cannot move the foot except by forcing it up. No lifter that I can see. A true delight due to its size.

This is a vintage miniature toy sewing machine still in very good shape for it's age. Measures aprx 7 x 7 inches. Stamped Made in Germany. Everything on the machine seems to turn and move well. The handle is made of wood. There is no needle. The gold decoration is hand painted and there is virtually no rust. There is some wear appropriate with age and some paint wear. No rust or corrosion. This is a vintage Altenburg toy sewing machine. Made in East Germany around the 1950s. The machine is in very good condition, the dark geen colour and decorationis very good preserved, only the handwheel is missing some spots of colour and the top of the spool pin and eyelet pin have some of plating missing, please see fotos The box shows some wear and the instruction paper is apart, please see fotos.
