MINNESOTA MODEL A TREADLE SEWING MACHINE IN TIGER OAK CABINET W/ATTACHMENTS
This is a very nice Minnesota model A working treadle sewing machine with original attachments and instruction book circa 1925. The sewing machine is enclosed in a tiger oak cabinet when not in use. To use you open the front swing door and lift the top right to left and the machine pulls up. The tiger oak cabinet appears to be in original condition and the finish is very good. When closed the cabinet measures 22 1/2" wide. 18" deep, and is 30 1/2" tall. It sits on four rollers. The belt has one worn spot on it but it is working. Shipping can be arranged through TSC Moving or Rick Ships to most parts of the country, I will deliver for $1.00 per mile to a 100 mile radius of Slidell, La. or local pick up is always welcome. Rare 1910's Antique Singer Treadle Tiger Oak Sewing Machine 6 Drawers Cabinet. This was actually from my great grandmothers sewing machine. After she passed my uncle took the drawers and put them together with a board on top and bottom to make one piece. The boards are put on with simple nails and should be easy enough to get out if you wish to take them apart. It does have minor scratches and scuffs from age and wear. One of the bottom corners has a little more wear then the rest. The insides of the drawers are in good condition. The drawers slide in and out easily. This is tiger oak and is very solid. It is from a singer sewing machine. Which I believe my mother still has. It is heavy and weighs 21 pounds before packing. It is a beautiful piece! Vintage Antique 1910 Singer Red Eye Sewing Machine W/7 Drawer Tiger Oak Cabinet
Vintage Antique 1910 Singer Sewing Machine Red Eye Decals W/7 Drawer Tiger Oak Cabinet The cabinet is in fairly nice condition for its age. Photos show where the veneer is chipped. The two inside walls of the drawer units have loose veneer but hard to get to because of the iron work. All fancy fret work is in tact. The machine is dirty and I am unsure of the workings of it. The number is G4117170. The number dates to March 30. 1910. The trindle belt broke when I opened the top and pulled out the machine. When I turn the wheel the machine does go up and down. It is a Singer cabinet table no. 6. According to Singer, this cabinet will hold 15-30s, 66-1s, 115-1s and 127-3s. The cabinet is much more impressive then the machine. I would hate to part this cabinet out so will try a sell with pickup.

The serial number is hard to read. I looked several times with a variety of magnifying glasses and came up with G8446206 each time. The problem is that when I looked up that number( to view table) I got the following information: Model 15, 50000 manufactured, November 3, 1920. I was puzzled by the Model 15 and looked around to see if a Model 15 had the red eye decals. I don't see any site that says the model 15 ever had those decals(all red eyes were model 66) so I suspect that I read the number wrong or the information in the table is wrong. It's definitely an old machine, so I just don't know. Any help would be appreciated. to see an interesting profile of the Model 66. The cabinet is a 7 drawer affair. The middle drawer is locked and I don't have the key. I can access the back side of the drawer from inside the cabinet and can say that it is full of bobbins. The other drawers have various items. This is a very nice Antique Minnesota treadle sewing machine. All original. From the early 1900s. It was my grandmother's who. I believe, bought it from Sears when she was young. It has been in my parents' basement for many years until they moved this spring, now it's in storage and needs to find a new home. The sewing machine is enclosed in an oak cabinet when not in use. I believe it's called a"Tiger Oak" style cabinet. Please refer to photos to see it in open and closed positions. I was only able to take a few photos on the way to storage. Please let them be your guide as to the aesthetic condition. Overall. It's very nice with minimal wear/ corrosion. It should be able to be restored to excellent condition with a minimal amount of work. Size: When closed the cabinet measures around 23" wide. 18" ... moredeep and 30" or so tall. Condition: The belt has broken from age but aside from this. I believe this machine is still in working condition. The wheels and mechanisms all moved when I tried to move them; nothing was frozen. A couple of the wood trim pieces were missing(see photos) Aside from this, there was only a little superficial delamination of the wood in a couple spots; nothing which could not be fixed in capable hands. Antique Tiger Oak Singer Sewing Machine Drawers W Fancy Carved Vintage Frame
Antique Singer Sewing Machine treadle drawers and frame. The parts are quarter sawn"tiger" oak with fancy applied carved ornamentation. The three drawers and frame were removed from an early treadle type machine. The original shellac finish was cleaned with denatured alcohol and an amber shellac was reapplied. The frame measures about 14" wide x 15" tall x 5 1/4" The drawers measure about 12 3/4" deep x 4 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" All parts appear to be in very good condition. Antique Trendle Sewing Machine 7 Drawer Tiger Oak Cabinet 1910 Singer Red Eye The cabinet is in fairly nice condition for its age. Photos show where the veneer is chipped. The two inside walls of the drawer units have loose veneer but hard to get to because of the iron work. All fancy fret work is in tact. The machine is dirty and I am unsure of the workings of it. The number is G4117170. The number dates to March 30. 1910. The trindle belt broke when I opened the top and pulled out the machine. When I turn the wheel the machine does go up and down. It is a Singer cabinet table no. 6. According to Singer, this cabinet will hold 15-30s, 66-1s, 115-1s and 127-3s. The cabinet is much more impressive then the machine. There is one drawer pull missing but they are all wood and easy to find or you could replace all with matching new ones. The top does lay flat. It is not warped. Because there is no sewing machine in the cabinet to weigh down the black metal piece, it sticks up and does not allow top to lay down. Beautiful antique 1916 Singer 99K hand crank sewing machine. Serial number F6847690. Overall size is 17” x 8” x 13 tall”This machine was well used but also very well cared for. It seems to be working perfectly– all of the mechanisms move freely. There is some wear to the decals and scuffing of the paint. The case is a beautiful tiger oak and is in good condition with only a few minor problems- there is a crack on the back side. A small crack in the interior bottom of the main compartment and the exterior bottom has some separation/bubbling" not sure exactly what to call it) please see pictures. The lock doesn't function- it appears that one of the latching mechanisms was broken off- I do not have a key so I can't test it. But overall. This is an antique tiger oak White sewing machine in good overall condition considering the age. The issues are some small areas of missing veneer. There is some light pitting on the base of the sewing machine and the cord to the pedal is broken(found in the drawer) The lid lifts correctly and the sewing machine correctly locks in place, the machine appears to function if the cord were repaired. Vintage 1924 Singer Sewing Machine Red Eye Model 66 Tiger Oak 7 Drawer Cabinet
Going by the Singer serial number website. This is a 1924 Model 66"Redeye" treadle machine. The machine has an electrification kit from H. Adler& Co. added. So it does have a two receptacle plug on the case back for a light(which in working order) and the motor. The pulley and motor could all use some lubrication and adjustment as it does squeak and slip when run. It is also missing a bobbin plate by the needle and maybe some other minor items that I am not familiar with. So that leads to the cabinet that is a bit of a confusing picture. The cast iron base does not show that it was ever a treadle. I believe the machine was added to this cabinet and that machine and cabinet are not original to each other. Now that I have stated all the things are a bit of a distraction from the overall piece. Let me talk about what it does have ... moregoing. The decaling on the machine is still very strong and the serial number plate of G0792897 is attached. It runs and can be converted back to a treadle or have some minor work to get it functioning better as an electric machine. The cabinet is about as I good as I have seen them. Very strong grain that is in plus condition from an abuse standpoint. This is when they made veneer about 3 times thicker then it is today. Truly a gorgeous cabinet. The 3 drawers on each side are still all in above average condition as well as the thin front drawer. I have shown views from all around. The base has the classic Singer insignia of the time and the surround around it reads"Singer Mfg. Co. I would keep it but I just don't have the room. I have the treadle base in my other auctions now. The drawers are sold. This top has beautiful wood. I'm not an expert but the wood appears to me to be tiger oak or ¼ sawn. The wood finish could use some cleaning up and/or refinishing. All the hinges are there and the screws to attach to a treadle base. The top measures 36½' wide. 18' deep and the whole unit as shown sits 9 3/4' high(with the dust board) The only flaw I see it a tiny chip out of the top on an edge, it is the size of a small pea. The hole for the machine measures 16 9/16' wide and 7 1/8' deep. Since there is a black metal spacer bar installed, it measures 14 3/4' WITH the bar ... morein. When I purchased these Singer pieces. This Vintage Willcox& Gibbs Sewing Machine Tiger Oak Coffin Cover was found at an auction. And is one of the nicest I've seen. There are some scratches, skuffs, marks, repairs on one side, and a hair line crack in the top, but the Cover is otherwise structurally sound and in very good condition. The wood is called Tiger Oak which is quarter sawn(log sawed in quarters) and is a very desirable type of wood used in fine furniture. The Cover has raised panels on 4 sides, and very detailed moldings, the finish is original and the color is medium brown, and is uniform throughout. The Positioning Hardware and Lock are in place, and the Lock operates properly. I don't have a key, but the Lock can be operated with a small screw driver. The W& G logo on the inside is in excellent condition, like it was applied yesterday. The center ... moreto center dimension on the Positioning Hardware is 12" the distance between the Positioning Hardware and the Lock is approximately 10 3/8" the Lock is centered on the Cover. The Wood used in this Assembly is called Tiger Oak, which is quarter sawn(log sawed in quarters) it is a very desirable type of wood used in fine furniture. The Assembly has some nicks and marks, and has a missing piece of lower molding, which can easily be replaced by a craftsman, otherwise the Assembly is structurally sound. The Tiger Oak finish is medium brown and is uniform throughout. Up for auction is an antique White Family rotary treadle sewing machine. The last patent date on this machine is 1913. This machine was donated to our Rotary club for our annual garage sale. It appears to be in very good shape, we cleaned the exterior, but the machine itself needs to be cleaned and serviced. I think it was stored for a number of years. The cabinet is a beautiful. Dark-stained 6 drawer treadle cabinet. The drawers are all in good shape and they function very smoothly, there is a small chip on the trim on one of the drawers. As you can see from the photos, the cabinet has some pretty amazing ornate wood carving detail. The iron treadle base is in excellent condition and moves very smoothly. Entire antique White Style sewing machine treadle Tiger Oak WOOD table top
bidding on this Wood table top that comes from a a g mason New Wilson sewing machine. Mimics the style of White. Has a lid with cable that automatically lifts the machine bed. The front facade stays down when lidis down. It also has the inlaid ruler in the top. But somewhat faded. there are some condition issues with it. The drawer frames are missing the center guide( a small strip of wood that can be made yourself) THE DRAWERS STILL SLIDE. these and other defects are in the photos. NOTE: I have re-finished the top since the original photos taken. You can see results in photo 2 as well as the last 2 photos. The flip lid and top have a nice tiger finish. The original color is still seen in the wood around the opening. match nicely. Measures approx. 36" long, 18" wide.
