Product Description: Fiddleback Singer Model 12"New Family" treadle sewing machine"born" in 1871. We spoke with the Singer representative and she said a machine this old didn't have a model name or number-that it was just called a"Standard" However, in the literature I have seen since, I notice model 12 New Family machines that are nearly identical to this one. The representative did confirm the 1871 date. The decals are still remarkably intact for a machine that is 142 years old. They represent the"Acanthus Leaves" pattern. The machine has a coffin top. Two-drawer cabinet and a set of attachments, including two original bobbins, bobbin winder"spoon, tucker, binder, seam guide, quilting bar(not pictured) and a wooden case of needles. It also has an extra open-boat shuttle that I have not tested. ... moreAs it has a slightly different shape from the one that was in the machine. Two extra bobbin winders came with the machine, and will be included. A reprint of the Model 12 manual is also included. Size: At 16" deep x32" wide x40" high. Including top, the machine cabinet is rather diminutive, which I liked because it fits in small spaces. Markings: The Singer logo is present on both sides of the cast iron treadle base. The medallion on the machine's forward side says"Singer Mfg Co N Y Trademark. The front and back of the machine head say"Singer" and the top says"Singer Manufacturing Company" The Serial number is 868385. The number above the serial number just below the stitch length selector is 7753385. Origin/ Background: I bought this machine at a flea market 26 years ago. It has been with me ever since. Condition: Machine has been cleaned and oiled. And is in working condition. Pictures of the stitches are included. Up for auction is this wonderful antique M. Finkle Treadel sewing machine. On the brass plates it reads"M. Finkle. Patent Applied for New York. Under the plate is the number 5192. The foot treadle spins freely but sqeaks, it needs oil. The head needs to be oiled and cleaned to free it up. Bradbury Fiddle Base Hand Crank Sewing Machine Gold leaf& Duke pattern c. 1890 the Decals on the bed are quite worn but those on the arm clearly show the plain leaf design. The Duke of Wellington Trade Mark is at the base of the pillar. My husband(sewing machine repair man) bought it to restore but never did. He is gone now so I am passing it on. I have not cleaned it for fear I will damage. I did check the crank etc and it turns easily and needle holder goes up a down nicely. The crank handle is NOT connected to the crank but both turn nicely and the bar that connects them is there. There is no needle. It is the rare Fiddle base It is still mounted on original wood base but it does not have the case cover.

Up for auction is an antique early 1910's or earlier Willcox& Gibbs Portable sewing machine in very good restorable condition. This unit is untested due to the fact that it needs a power cord! The motor looks to be in very good condition and it manually moves freely. The nickel has patina and can be polished. The original gold stenciling is all still visible including the plate. I have not polished this at all so it can possibly be improved a lot from here. This unit does not have a foot pedal. Marked Serial Number 40016. This machine has its original black enamel paint that has chips but can be polished up nice. The original flower decals can be seen. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Circa 1855- This sewing machine is in very good vintage condition with some finish issues- the drawer has been stripped and the outer case has some age and wear signs. there are a few screws missing in the folding case. It's a pretty cool machine as the cover doesn't lift off but unfolds to make a large work table. There are a few miscellaneous parts in the drawer and a leather belt but the belt is broken. It may be able to be repaired by adding another link. The machine and treadle seem to work well but I don't sew so can't say for sure if it would.

Vintage Singer circa 1922 antique portable sewing machine with Dome Wood Case. Intricate art deco floral motif(reds. Greens, golds) Features working light, electric motor(motor works but wires are very frayed- need replacing/maintenance) and foot/knee pedals. This machine is serial number G8546850. I am certainly no expert on these machines but I did plug the unit up to verify that it will run. Upon plugging it in and pressing the foot control. The machine functioned but because of the frayed wires, it sparked so I unplugged it and put electrical tape around the areas for safety sake. I am sure that a qualified professional will have this machine pleasing its new owner for many more decades too. The machine is housed in a Singer bentwood case but has no key so it will not latch shut. Singer Treadle Sewing Machine circa 1900 in cabinet w/accessories and book
I used it as a side table to my new sewing machine for many years and later as an accent piece in my florist/gift shop. It currently resides in storage and is longing for a new home and some TLC. This machine belonged to my grandmother and was equipped to utilize an electric foot pedal by my grandfather. When she was pregnant and working the pedal proved to be a strain. This can easily be detached. As best I know the machine still works but would probably needs some oil and adjustments and of course a good cleaning. There is a box in the drawer that contains parts and bits for the machine as well as a booklet. This is a local pick up item only, as I am unable to ship. Please keep that in mind when bidding.

Antique Singer Child's Sewing Machine I believe this is the Singer Model 20 Miniature Toy Sewing Machine. It has the 7-spoke handwheel and a numbered thread path. The machine does work. But needs a good cleaning. There are dents on the sewing plate, and some tarnish on the nickel plating which needs to be cleaned and polished. The black enamel is in very nice condition, as well as the decals, and the bottom has a green felt padding. Measurements are 7"length x 4"width x 6"height. Cleaned and polished. The Company was formed in Hamilton. Ontario in 1868 by A. Wilson, J. Bowman and C. Lockman until J. Bowman left in 1872 then it became Wilson, Lockman Company and later it became Wilson Sewing Company and closed down in 1884. I purchased this machine at an Estate Auction. I thought it was unique. The Machine does not work and it is missing the shuttle, bobbin and some other parts and the decals are worn. The gears mesh and the spindle for the needle goes up and down. Circa 1920. And the metal tag indicates FR 7500903(model and serial number? not sure) This brown sewer with tan decals sits on a rectangular base. Is clearly an antique, but I'm not sure of the date of its manufacture. The sewer is enclosed with an electric motor/AC chord, along with a little box of goodies, within a wood carrying case. The wooden case has a lock and handle that's meant to make the machine easily transportable(although given the machine's weight, it's not safe to lift by the handle while in its case! It's been in storage at my parents as of late. And is likely the machine my mom learned on as a teenager back in the 1950s(she was a seamstress by trade) Not sure if it works. From the photos. One can see that it's pretty clean, and more of a show piece(like art) as opposed to a machine that one might ... moreexpect to use. The needle moves as the wheel is turned. The machine lifts on its hinge to reveal its underbelly. It's got an electric motor and AC cord, although I've not plugged it in. There are several pieces/parts(feet.
