For sale is a vintage or antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine with wood cabinet and cast iron stand. The serial number is G5047331. It appears to be from the year 1916 from looking this up on line. The cord from the machine to the bottom foot pedal is severed. This will need to be replaced or repaired. I don't know if this machine is functional. The machine shows age. The black is a flat black and the colors are to some degree faded. The cabinet is in fair conditon and would benefit from a bit of repair or restoration. Machine is LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Sorry. This is a vintage sewing machine that was manufactured in 1916. According to the serial number. It was originally a pedal machine, but was converted to electric. IT STILL WORKS! Everything is very well oiled and nicely maintained. As you can see from the photographs it is in really nice condition, considering its almost 100 years old! The woodwork on drawers and sideboards is highly detailed and in GREAT shape. Drawers still hold pins, needles, thread, and other accessories going back to when my Grandmother originally purchased it. For sale I have an antique 1916 Singer treadle sewing machine. This machine and cabinet are in great condition for being almost 100 years old! It is showing some signs of wear here and there. But are consistent with it's age. I do note that the belt is still attached, but broken. I am assuming this could be replaced. The machine does come with the box of rotary attachments as well in original box. The cast iron on this piece is gorgeous and has all the signature Singer markings. Antique 1916 Singer Model 28 (K) Serial # G4726162 Working -Last Pat Date 1911-
This machine has got me a little confused. So if I got anything wrong sorry. This machine according to the serial number which is G4726162 was made in 1916 and is a Model 28. The paint and decals have some issues but over all this is a very nice machine. It had the case I am selling on ebay right now around it. But whats weird to me and I can not find a match to what it looked like with the motor on it is that it had what I believe to be a after market singer motor on it with a metal singer foot pedal. Which I will posting soon. I think and could be wrong that this was a hand crank or maybe treadle machine before the owner added the motor. Anyway it is now what is is a Singer 28 that works quite well. The simplest mechanism i have seen on a singer. I am gonna start it low and will let the experts decide at this point. The machinse serial number date it to Dec 13,1916 making it almost 98 years old, The red eye decals are in very nice condition and overall the machine is in decent shape, The clear gloss has crazing and there are a few paint chips and blemishes but the machine still looks and sews good considering its age. The machine came out of a treadle cabinet and can be put in any standard Singer treadle cabinet. Beautiful antique 1916 Singer 99K hand crank sewing machine. Serial number F6847690. Overall size is 17” x 8” x 13 tall”This machine was well used but also very well cared for. It seems to be working perfectly– all of the mechanisms move freely. There is some wear to the decals and scuffing of the paint. The case is a beautiful tiger oak and is in good condition with only a few minor problems- there is a crack on the back side. A small crack in the interior bottom of the main compartment and the exterior bottom has some separation/bubbling" not sure exactly what to call it) please see pictures. The lock doesn't function- it appears that one of the latching mechanisms was broken off- I do not have a key so I can't test it. But overall. Description This is a 1916 Singer Model 66 Red Eye Treadle sewing machine that belonged to my deceased aunt. This includes the machine and cast iron base. The cord or belt is included. But is broken. I know she sewed with it, but it has been almost 10 years since it has been used, so will need a good cleaning. The treadle works, and the needle moves, so I would guess all it needs is a belt. It is stamped with serial# G5 244 581. December 11, 1900, patent June 14, 1910. Most of the paint is still good with the exception of the back of the machine. As can be seen in the picture. This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 66-1 with Red Eye decals. This has the rear clamping foot. Serial number G4925426 dates this machine to September 27. 1916. I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! I also list all"detailed" positives and negatives. So there are no surprises when your machine arrives. I even provide video proof that this machine works! This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The machine is 100% functional! All knobs turn with ease. The timing was adjusted and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine ... moreand the hand crank seen in the video are NOT INCLUDED and are NOT FOR SALE. They are for demonstration purposes only. Other sellers have replacement handcranks for about $15 on eBay. Overall. This machine has some shine appearance with common signs of use. The paint on the deck is crackled with some scratches and nicks. The front edge of the base has chips. Most of the decals remain with flaked wear mainly on the deck and on the front"Singer" decal. The decals are slightly darker on the back. Most chrome pieces have an antique satin shine with some discoloration. The nose and round plates are discolored deep in the grooves. The bobbin cover has a worn finish on the front right corner. The thumbscrews are dark. Some parts like the bobbin winder, presser foot lift lever and needle bar are darker than others. The bobbin winder has a new rubber wheel and works. It comes with 2 bobbins. There is no manual. This auction is for a part or attachment of an antique sewing machine. Possibly a Singer, based on age. It clearly says"Made in USA" and that the patent is from May 23, 1916. It has an adjuster for"Cutting Space" and"Depth of Stitch. it has a bracket that looks to hd it to a metal pin, about 1/4" in diameter with two screws to hold it in place. In total, it is about 6" long. I don't know anything else about this piece.

Art Nouveau carving around each of the six drawer knobs and both sides on this cabinet. Fine bead molding on the center drawer. The center pull out drawer is fitted with 3 compartments. ANTIQUE VINTAGE 1916 SINGER 66 RED EYE TREADLE SEWING MACHINE HEAD with BASE As far as I can tell this is a functioning machine. CONDITION: I did a limited test on loading the bobbin. Even though the rubber drive wheel seems like it should be replaced it still drives the bobbin without slipping. I tested the stitching and it has equal stitch on both sides. Decals show some wear. Others are crisp. The outside of the machine needs more cleaning· The bobbin area is fairly clean. See pictures. The machine is lubricated· I made a stand for the machine. It is nothing fancy. But it does the job. It is made from 1” PVC board and needs to be painted better than I did. I am not an expert in sewing machines. In the last couple of days I learned enough to test it. In order to see if it is OK to sell. I learned that some sellers claim that their ... moremachines have free motion. But that does not mean that they will sew properly. Without seeing the stitch pattern you cannot be positive that it will work properly without some kind of repair. One problem that can happen in these machines is that the needle movement and shuttle get out of synch. If they are not properly synchronized. The needle will not pick up the bobbin thread or it may skip stitches here and there. Among other problems. The stitching may not be equal. So you do need to know what you are buying. Electric heavy duty sewing machine with the case. The serial is G4775133, dating it to 1916. This machine is from an Estate, I am told it was used for quilting and leather. It appears to be made of cast iron and it is very heavy. It does work when plugged in, however I did not thread it or know how well it actually sews. It seems to be in good condition. There is some paint loss on the wheel on the side. The carrying case does have some signs of wear, dirt marks, and scratches. One of the metal plates that holds the machine in place is broken. vintage SINGER SEWING MACHINE 1916 treadle/electric cabinet table antique
Selling this vintage 1916 Singer sewing machine. Model# G4819724. Treadle operated- also has an optional electric motor attached. There is also a lamp attached by a band which looks somewhat newer. The machine still works. I remember sewing with it many many years ago, but I haven't tried lately. I did plug the motor in and it still works, turns the flywheel and everything seems to operate, the control pedal slows and speeds the motor fine, but honestly the wiring seems old and I would replace it with new wiring if I was to use it regularly. The treadle belt/band is old and has ripped. It needs repair or replacement if you want to operate it by treadle. It has a very nice detailed engraved plate on the front. Looks to be brass. It comes with plenty of extras- 17 sewing machine needles. Original 100 year old Singer model 66 sewing machine instruction manual. This is one of the first'green' manuals that Singer made and it is in excellent condition. The 1916 Singer 66 was a'backclamp' model meaning that the attachments were affixed to the spindle by a thumbscrew fro the back insted of the side.
