This machine has a serial number of ... moreJ578575- according to the Singer website. This machine was made in 1904. It is housed in the original wooden cabinet. The cabinet is a nice, warm dark brown wood, I believe it is walnut. It is a Parlor Style Cabinet- the machine glides straight down into the cabinet when you push the button, instead of folding down like other models. The cabinet has a line of drawers on one side- the other side has what looks like is an identical line of drawers, but this is really a door. When all closed up, this has the look of a wooden table or cabinet- none of the sewing machine is visible. The Machine itself is in very good shape- it is a Sphinx model. There is an old belt included and when you pump the treadle, the wheel spins freely and the needle goes up and down smoothly. The cabinet, when closed, measures 34 x 17 inches and is 29 inches tall. The cabinet has typical signs of wear and tear- this is 110 years old- but is in overall good condition. You can see in the photos that most of the drawer and door hardware pulls were removed at some point. The lower doors will need new hinges. Some wear, rings, and scratches on the finish, but the wood is in overall good shape. There is also a group of accessories included with this machine- some instruction booklets, needles, bobbins, etc. see photo for all that is included. This will make a wonderful restoration project! A Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Dust Cover Belly Bottom Pull Out
This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Table Dust Cover. Please note: This is for cabinets with slide-out style middle drawers. Not the flip-open style. The drawer also slides into both sides of the belly. Other Singer drawers only fit the right side rail into the belly and the left side slides into an"L" bracket. I have pictured the inner side where the drawer fits. Both sides are the same. This is the piece that sits under the table top and surrounds the machine head. This would typically be found with models 15. 66 or 127 from about 1905 to 1915. It is in good condition with a dark finish. The finish is actually a little darker than pictured. The flash lighten made it appear lighter. It has some scratches and dings. It has a good wood grain pattern under the dark finish on the backside. It is a little dusty inside. ... moreIt includes all original mounting screws and"L"shaped brackets. These will need to be reinstalled upon arrival. It measures 20-3/4" wide in the front. The width for the drawer rails measures 20-1/8" x 1-7/8" tall. It is 15-1/8" deep on the top edge. It is 7-3/8" at its deepest point measured on the outside. The table measures 41-3/4" x 16-1/8" when opened and 28-1/2" when folded down. There is a slot for the treadle cord. The bonnet hardware measures 12" apart at the rear and approx. 10" front to back. This was on an ornate treadle base with a patent date from the 1870's. I do not know exactly how old this table is. The wood has wear on top and is very dark in areas. The edges where the table folds has a lot of chipped and flaked veneer. There are gouges where the rear clips from the bonnet were repeatedly hitting the table. The hinges are good. The cabinet is in very good shape but does have some scratches and wear spots. It measures 23 1/2" wide by 18" deep by 30 1/2" high when closed. It measures 47" wide and 29 3/4" high when fully opened. There are two drawers behind the left door. The cabinet is on wheels to make it easier to move. The machine has been tested and it does work. The most recent patent date listed on the machine is 1910. The serial number is FR2207896. Because of the serial number and the patent dates. I believe that the sewing machine was made in 1913 or 1914. A cable and pulley automatically lifts the sewing machine when you open the top and lowers it when you close the top(see the last picture. Rare 1910's Antique Singer Treadle Tiger Oak Sewing Machine 6 Drawers Cabinet. This was actually from my great grandmothers sewing machine. After she passed my uncle took the drawers and put them together with a board on top and bottom to make one piece. The boards are put on with simple nails and should be easy enough to get out if you wish to take them apart. It does have minor scratches and scuffs from age and wear. One of the bottom corners has a little more wear then the rest. The insides of the drawers are in good condition. The drawers slide in and out easily. This is tiger oak and is very solid. Antique 1863 Florence Sewing Machine Full Cabinet (Parlor?) Treadle + Booklet
The serial number on this sewing machine is 19446. According to“The Invention of the Sewing Machine” by Grace Cooper that serial number indicates its time of manufacture at approximately 1863. Also. According to that reference, the first Florence sewing machines were made approximately in 1860. Awhile back I found a web page about Florence sewing machines that I can no longer find. On that page the author said that the Florence machines with full cabinets were the top of the range and that they cost over twice as much as the regular machines and that he had never seen one. Unfortunately, I have not been able to verify those statement. I am not a sewing machine expert. I have not found another early full cabinet Florence sewing machine on the internet. I think that it might be called parlor model. I purchased this sewing machine at a barn ... moresale in the country. Other than that. I do not know its history. As far as I can tell, the cabinet and parts appear to be original to the machine. The latest patent date is July 18th, 1863. It comes with a booklet titled. Directions for using the Florence Sewing Machine” The booklet is dated 1866 on the cover. It was with the machine when I purchased it. As you can see, the booklet is in poor condition. The back cover is missing. The pages have small tears and fold marks and little pieces missing along the edges. The pages are loose with the binding totally shot. The last page is numbered“12” The last page looks like it probably really is the last page but I am not totally sure that is true. If it is, the booklet is complete. There are three small holes across a crease on two of the pages. Otherwise, my photos should give you a good idea of its general condition. The cabinet measures about 35 1/2 by 27 1/2 by 21 1/2 inches. I do not know what kind of wood it is. I think that it might be mahogany. Because of shipping costs. Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet that had a 1924 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The cabinet stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. The cast iron base will be dismantled for shipping. The locks on the side drawers and center drawer are functional and open with the manufactured flat key provided. We are disassembling Wheeler& Wilson D-9 treadle dating from 1892. The outter part of the opening is about 14 1/4 x 6 5/8. There is a lip going around 3 sides of the opening. The hole size inside of the lips is about 14 x 5 3/4. The hinges are about 9" apart- center to center. The top of the unit measures about 16" x 32" with the lid closed. But beautiful, Singer Sewing Machine(Serial No. G7210047) manufactured in Elizabethport, N.J. on 8/5/19. It is frequently called the Singer"Parlor Cabinet" There are very few left and occasionally you will find one on eBay, but not very often. Some are in pretty bad shape. This one is not perfect, but I have tried to show everything in the pictures. These sewing machines are almost 100 years old, so you will naturally see some scratches and blemishes on them. It seems the previous ... moreowner changed it over to electric and did a very good job. He did put an original Singer Sewing Co. motor on it and the last time I tried it, the machine ran fine. It has a tall row of 5 small drawers hidden by a narrow door ornately trimmed. In the top drawer, it has small tray for holding pins, needles, etc. Two top ornate doors under the machine itself open inward, and two bottom doors open outward so the person sewing can put their legs under the machine. These doors are carved so that they fit nicely together when they are closed. This alcove is where the treadle can be re-installed again, if desired. They can be purchased on eBay and other sites occasionally. The two doors in the back also open, possibly to give more air to the person sewing. On the right front, a door opens to put the leather belt on the wheel. The right side door also opens to give access for adjustment of the belt and wheel. This is a very unusual. Up for auction is this Antique Singer Fiddle Base Sewing Machine with Cabinet. Please read complete details as follows prior to placing a bid. I am auctioning the item off as with what is shown in the photo as is with no returns. Here is a early model Singer Fiddle Based Portable Sewing Machine with Cabinet. The sewing machine is not complete but comes with the items shown in the photo. This will be a project to restore to its original condition and will require additional parts other than what is shown. It seems to work fine the wheel spins and the needle goes up and down. The paint is a bit chipped and the print on the machine is worn off in places. The cabinet will require some restoration as well included is the original skeleton key lock device(the brass item in the parts photo) but you will have to find a key or locksmith a new key ... morefor the lock. The cabinet does have a crack on the corner on the back side and the original bottom has been temporary replaced with a piece of plywood to maintain the shape of the base bottom. This very nice antique treadle sewing machine cabinet and drawers. The cabinet is structurally, in very good condition and would be a great for many types of ideas and or projects. The old varnish is just what it is. very old" The machine. And legs are"not included" in this sale The nice. What appears to be Oak Cabinet is in good usable condition. It does show how old it is due to the breakdown of the old varnish finish. The cabinet"closed" measures approximately 34 1/2" long x 19" wide. The top of the cabinet does have some worn areas were the wood is showing through more than others. When the top cover is opened up you will see that it has a couple of ... moresmall gouges in the center of the surface approximately 1 1/2" long but it is not very deep. The top cover(door or table extension) of the cabinet measures approximately 21 3/4" long x 15 1/4" wide and the hinges are nice and strong. It has four(4) drawers that might be lockable I do not have a key to test the locking mechanism. The drawers are still in good usable condition. Vintage Antique 1910 Singer Sewing Machine Red Eye Decals W/7 Drawer Tiger Oak Cabinet The cabinet is in fairly nice condition for its age. Photos show where the veneer is chipped. The two inside walls of the drawer units have loose veneer but hard to get to because of the iron work. All fancy fret work is in tact. The machine is dirty and I am unsure of the workings of it. The number is G4117170. The number dates to March 30. 1910. The trindle belt broke when I opened the top and pulled out the machine. When I turn the wheel the machine does go up and down. It is a Singer cabinet table no. 6. According to Singer, this cabinet will hold 15-30s, 66-1s, 115-1s and 127-3s. The cabinet is much more impressive then the machine. I would hate to part this cabinet out so will try a sell with pickup.

The original manual dated 1907 is included(rare find) This model is the chain stitch sewing machine that was all the rage around the turn of the century in 1900. All the paint and wood appear to be original. It's in excellent condition for it's age. The pedal glides easily. The iron base has no rust on it. I have the original leather belt.it has come apart at the seam. But may be repairable. The needle mechanism slides up and down effortlessly. The wood case is in excellent condition. You can fabricate a pin by cutting the head off a 1/4" x 1 1/4" long bolt The wooden dowel that fits into the spring is included. It is inside the spring and not visible in the pics but it is included. This type is the long type and was used on many Singer treadle cabinets in the early 1900's up until the 1920's and possibly even later. As mentioned it is complete with everything including the mountng screws and is only missing the 1/4" x 1 1/4" metal pin that sets the spring tension. Some of which remains, though the machine carries its history of having been used in some long-ago home for real and functional purpose. Dates back to the early 1900's, the style number AB862139 indicating it was produced after 1900. The rich oak cabinet is of fairly straightforward styling, compatible with craftsman style oak and more modern pieces. With the cabinet closed. The dimensions are 34" wide, 16" deep, and 28-1/2" high. For use as a treadle, you'll need to reassemble the flywheel, a portion of which was disconnected decades ago, but kept with the piece. This belonged to a friend of mine who's grandmother purchased this machine back in 1910. And was the only owner or user of this near perfect fine piece of equipment. I say near perfect because on the top of the machine where the decal meets with buttons, zippers and the like has a few blemishes. Also on the opposite side of the top that reads Singer, the decal has a slight blemish also, nothing to blow your skirt up about. Including the original key, spools, some tools, measures, and the attachment case in its original paper sleeve(fantastic condition) The side drawers open if the center drawer is unlocked and pulled out fully, but they are a bit stiff. The top left drawer is missing the top twig that serves as the pull. The case is oak. I think referred to as tiger oak or quarter sawn. Quite beautiful. The case is quite beautiful despite some flaws as follows. There are a few spots that look like paint splatter on top. Part of the E in New Home on the front panel is missing. There is a small ding to the back side. The finish has some general wear and some bumps and bruises here and there. The underside of the lid has a white mark on it. SEE ALL PHOTOS BELOW This auction is for the sewing machine. Cabinet and wrought iron treadle base. Serial Number is: AC803747 According to the Ismacs. net website, it is a Model 15. Built on September 24, 1929. I was told by another seller that it was built at the Singer Elizabethport Plant in New Jersey. From where did I get"1928" I think it is on the machine itself. But it is in storage, so I cannot check it. So. It is either 1928 or 1929. It has been converted to electric. But can still be used as a treadle sewing machine. It is of collector quality as the paint shows no wear in my opinion. The black and the colorful paint is all nicely in tact and is in close-to-new condition. All parts move freely. And there is only some rust(that I can see) on the underside especially the center shaft. Also. The hand wheel may have slight ... moresurface rust. I say this because my damp cloth had orange on it when I wiped off the hand wheel. Here are the parts needed to complete this beauty: 1. A bobbin case pointing at 1:00 position and bobbin. 2. A sliding bobbin plate. 3. A pedal. 4. A new tire for the bobbin winder as the present one appears to be original and is brittle although still in place. All parts turn easily by hand. Included is a 7-Drawer Treadle Sewing Cabinet with Nice Wrought Iron Base. The wrought iron base has Singer in black. If it originally was gold. Then it was painted. I found it this way. This auction features a 19l5 Singer Sewing Machine. See condition description above. As I stated above. I received this in the 70's and have only used it for decor. When we received this it seemed like everything was working when a family member tried it out. Since then belt has broken. I do not know if anything is missing on this. The piece is on wheels and moves around. The serial number is G4266942. Which means it was introduced 1915. The cabinet is in an oak veneer in parts and other pieces are solid. There is an area on the top front of the piece and an area on the closing door top- both show wear- see pics. The machine has a brightly colored pattern and the serial number is displayed on this part of this piece. There is a nice dress guard on the right side just above the treadle. see pics. For sale I have an antique 1916 Singer treadle sewing machine. This machine and cabinet are in great condition for being almost 100 years old! It is showing some signs of wear here and there. But are consistent with it's age. I do note that the belt is still attached, but broken. I am assuming this could be replaced. The machine does come with the box of rotary attachments as well in original box. The cast iron on this piece is gorgeous and has all the signature Singer markings. The patent dates are listed near the foot of the machine. This piece would look great as a table or would make an amazing piece to upcycle into something new! Singer 1923 Antique Redeye Model 66 Parlor Cabinet Treadle Sewing Machine
Machine runs smoothly by spinning the lower wheel by hand. I do not have the rhythm to actually pump the treadle. I have oiled some points on it. The cabinet is as found. No refinishing has been attempted Top has water damage causing veneer to separate. Top also missing a 4 1/2 X 5/8 inch piece of veneer on top front right-hand corner. Drawers work smoothly and do not bind. It has been in my living room for 30+ years. Also included is a manual- missing front and back covers and pages 1 and 2. Pages 3.4,5,6, 35, 36, 37, 38 are loose and very tattered. pages 7 thru 18 are paired with 23 thru 34. Missing pages 19 thru 22. Also included are some attachments or parts of attachments. Using the manual as a guide, I see a foot hemmer, an adjustable hemmer, and a ruffler( the item or parts of the item)
