Antique Domestic Brand Treadle Sewing Machine Late 1864-Early 1900's. Works.
Note: I am listing this for a friend who is 80 years old. This machine was his grandmother's who passed away in 1930. Domestic sewing machine company started in 1861 making parts and made their first complete machine in 1864. They outlasted all the other"innovators" but ceased operation in the 1930's depression. Their claim to fame was any thickness material would smoothly go through their machine. Their machines were not only workhorses but also works of art(see photos) The finish is worn on the work surface and there is a dent in the wood cover on one side. Hard to see but you may be able to detect it in the one photo. This machine comes with many accessories, some of which sell for $15-20. Also look at the prices paid for just the wood cover or the cast iron frame. I did not see any rust which is unusual for these old ... moremachines. You will note that all the patent dates are 1863-1876! Questions?

Vintage Treadle Domestic Sewing Machine Tiger Oak Upper Cabinet. This is a complete upper oak assembly as shown. It is very clean with 6 drawers. It measures 16" tall. 18" deep, and is 34" wide. This beautiful piece has the hinged top for the material, the metal oil drip tray that is under the machine, the fold in panel in the front and more. This would make a very unique table top piece to add to a vintage table. As shown, please view photos and ask any questions. This is a pickup only item, I am in the center of lower Michigan and I can hold onto it for a time if needed. or call your friend to come and pick it up.
