This is a very nice antique oak hall tree. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. It is made of solid quarter sawn oak. It has been refinished. Pretty carving work at the top. Mirror and hooks appear original. Beveled mirror is in excellent condition with one small area near the top showing de-silvering. Drip pan is missing, but one could be added. Hall tree is in very good to excellent condition overall. A narrow piece for a small area! Measurements: Height- 78" Width- 22" Depth- 10-1/4" Mirror measures 11-1/2" wide x 17-1/2" high Drip pan area measures 15-1/2" wide x 8-1/4" deep From floor to top of umbrella rack(in front) measures 31" I'm guessing this piece weighs around 30lbs. or less. This is a great small size quartered oak pedestal or plant stand. Could even be used as a riser on a table or? This piece has been refinished and has a smooth and even finish. 1890's-1900's Fancy Quarter Sawn Golden Oak Hall Seat A very attractive and elegant late 1890's period solid quarter sawn oak hall seat. This beautiful hall seat has it's original golden oak finish. And boasts a pretty diamond shaped beveled glass mirror, which is original and in very good condition. It has four very fancy antique brass butterfly shaped hangers.
