This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. There is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This stand measures 76 7/8 inches tall, 30 ¾ inches side to side and 14 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. 1800s Antique Victorian Etagere - Walnut, Marble, Tall MIrror
This is a spectacular carved Victorian Etagere from the 1800s. It would be stunning in a grand entrance or foyer with a high ceiling. I understand this piece to be Walnut. I am not sure if it is an English or American. Excellent condition. But the mirror has been replaced. One small split in a section of wood just above the marble top. One drawer which is almost hidden by design. This etagere is currently safe in climate controlled storage. If I had anywhere to properly display this item in my home, I would not be selling it. It's really something special, and the price is very low for an antique of this quality. Two side panel prints are decorated with hanging dead game birds Woodcock. Quail, and Dove Scene on one side and Rabbit and Grouse Scene on the other side. The dead game prints both show some water damage at the bottom edge. There is a lot of damage to the wooden frame such as many marks, scratches, abrasions, scuffs, cuts, stains, and very small dry wood cracks and chips. It still retains the original hangers but a few of the screws holding them on have been replaced. The inside middle panel section is a mirror with no cracks and no chips but it does have discoloration. The left side panel section of the 3 birds has clear glass covering it with no cracks and no chips but the right side panel section is missing the glass. VINTAGE CONDITION SHOWING HEAVY SIGNS OF WEAR& USAGE AND A LOT OF DAMAGE BUT IT IS STILL"VERY SOLID" AND IS NOT FALLING APART AT ALL SO IT CAN STILL BE HUNG UP AND USED AGAIN!

ANTIQUE FRENCH BAMBOO HALL TREE, AESTHETIC STYLE, 1800s
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY This lovely handmade hall tree is a true example of 19th century Aesthetic movement design. When materials and motifs from the Far East were the latest style in furnishings. Many hall trees from this period were made of faux bamboo, but this elegant piece is made of the real thing. The body of the piece is made from large pieces of sturdy bamboo— as much as two inches in diameter— while finer bamboo was used on the detailing. Most striking are the beautiful varieties of colorations and texture on the natural bamboo(see photos) The original beveled mirror and original blue and white painted tile(also typical of Aesthetic design) add to the balanced design of the piece. The tile. Painted in an art nouveau(ala William Morris) motif, is signed Boch Freres, La Louviere on the back. The original early wood backing on the mirror ... morehas not been touched. Also typical of the period, the bamboo is decorated with metal accents: 6 bamboo-molded iron hangers for hats and garments; several early decorative brads of etched brass; and two carved wood florettes that echo the patterning on the tile. The piece is in very good condition. Considering its age. It measures 77” high by 25½” wide, and 12” deep. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.

Antique English Pine Pedestal Hall Stands Circa 1800s
These are two great and beautiful English antique pine pedestal stands. The tags on one of them are shown. Sold by Mike Bell Antiques to the famous Boston interior designer William Hodgins. Not sure how they ended up in Central PA. Purchased them at auction earlier this Summer. In some correspondence with a rep at Mike Bell. They guessed that they are from Western England and date from the mid-to late1800s. I am guessing that the tops are a later addition based on wider growth rings in the pine and by the tool marks. See images for condition. Three of the rosettes on one pedestal are broken(see images) Measure 38" tall. Tops measure 17" wide by 14 1/2" Bottoms measure 19 5/8" by 16" I will consider delivering these within a reasonable distance from 17032 zip code for a small fee.
