Antique Victorian Painters Easel
This is a very unusual and unique painters easel. It is a cross between stick and ball and wicker in the design areas and nicely turned oak I believe for the frame. It has holes to move the painting up 2 different heights. It is about 4.5 feet high. It is solid and unbroken but does need refinished if you want it perfect. Personally I think it is fine as is because it gives it character.

This is from a local estate and has been in the same family since the late 1800's. The 2 brass supports or holders are stamped Pat'd Dec.8th 1891. It is about 5' tall. This has not been refinished or altered. Condition seems all original. There are a couple of paint spots on the lower bar. The wood is dried out and needs reconditioning. But is not cracked. All the fittings, including screws are brass. I will try to ship this UPS. Shipping will be $40.00. If it turns out less. I will refund the difference.
