This hall tree was refinished by the previous owner, and they did a really nice job. They strengthened the back of the mirror with support sticks as shown in the photos, too. It is tight and sturdy, scroll front legs, lift top seat, applied carving on the base and shapely mirror top. The overall size is 36 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 29 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arms and the overall height is 84 inches. It has carving that adorns the lift top seat. The seat opens to reveal a storage space for your mittens, gloves or hats. It has the original arms. The only I can see wrong with it is that the bottom is missing plywood and we will replace it prior to shipping. The finish is nice for the age showing minor wear and dings.

Has an overall size of about 12.5 x 3.5inches. Max depth is just over 1.5inches. Condition: Considering the age. The overall condition is excellent and is without any major blemish. Here is a marvelous antique dark oak table or dresser top cabinet with two shelves behind the lovely carved frame doors surrounding the old oval glass panes. The cabinet has holes in the bottom with screws to securely tighten down the cupboard to the surface on which it sits. This terrific early twentieth century cabinet was imported fromt he United Kingdom through Edinburgh. Scotland. It measures 30 1/2 inches long by 11 inches front to back by 19 inches tall. Inside the two shelves are 28 inches long by 7 3/4 inches front to bach and each have 8 3/4 inches clearance. As shown in my final four photographs. Gilded brass coat hooks and lift top seat with storage below. It has applied carvings at the crest, surrounding the top hooks, on the back, under the arms and at the bottom center on the seat skirt. The manufacturer is unidentified. Measurements: Height: 79� overall Width: 38-1/2� at base(widest points) Depth: 17-3/4� overall� Top of Seat From Floor: 17-1/2� Lift-top of Seat: 22-1/2� x 13� It is being offered as we found it. It has had 3 screws recently added to the arms(one on one side. Two on the other side) and one in the base. There are small chips from the wood on the inside of the arm supports which goes unnoticed due to location and doesn’t ... morebother structurally. Two old chips on back of one arm are present(see picture number 13) but is fairly insignificant as they have developed a matching patina and it adds a little character and testament to its age. The mirror appears to be original and never been re-silvered. It isn’t perfect. It shows some streaking and specks, but considering age it isn’t bad. The hall tree retains it’s original finish which is in very nice condition and shows only very minor wear considering age. Other than the added screws mentioned above. It is completely original. I have never had any with applied carvings on the inside of the end panels. The pew has been shortened from its original length and is just as it was used in the church; I have gone over it with Old English to cover over scratches from the nearly 100 years of usage. It is completely authentic and is an attractive looking piece that would look great in your family room. Entry way, on your porch or patio, in a sun room, in an office or reception area, or just about anywhere seating you would like to place them. Awesome looking quarter sawn oak library table with carvings and turned legs
This listing is for the awesome looking antique quarter sawn oak(tiger oak) library table pictured. It is a beautiful piece of furniture with nice ornate carvings on all four sides and ornate carved pieces attached to the stretcher base. The legs are nicely turned. Dimensions are 45 1/2" wide by 27" deep by 29" high. The finish is medium dark and is in very nice condition. I believe it was refinished many years ago(we have had it for about 15 years and haven't done anything to the finish. I have included a two pictures showing repairs on the two carved pieces that attach the stretcher base to the rear legs on each side. They are old repairs and they are each very strong. I will put a dab of Old English furniture restorer on each repair to help conceal the repairs but I did want to picture them before doing so to make you ... moreaware of those conditions. Beautiful Antique Golden Oak Desk with Carvings & One Center Drawer
This is a very versatile piece of furniture that is a desk but may have many other uses. The carvings(feet and sides at corners photo#4) appear hand carved and the piece could very well be prior to 1900. But I listed it 1900+ to be sure. It is a solid wood throughout and in fairly good condition-VG. It measures on top at 45.5" W and 28"D. It can add a classic look to any room with its' great style and golden oak grained color. The desk top is 29" above the floor and comfortable to sit at. The center drawer is 22"W. The"paws" are all similar and are 3"X 3.5" see photo#3) There is a small dark blemish on the wood top on the left(see photo#2) that I began to remove but it is incomplete. The bottom shelf is of a nice sweeping shape and adds to the versatility. The center drawer appears to be a replacement( ... moredrawer. It needs gluing in the front where there is a few inch separation. But it is not a difficult clamping job at all. There is a light small separation on top of the front lid that could use a little gluing to make this lovely piece in VG+++ condition.
