It stands a regal 7’ tall on rounded feet with a base dimension of 29 1/2” tall by 32” wide and 13” front to back. Eight original 5” pegs await your hat or cloak. English Oak Victorian Hall Tree Umbrella Stand Carved Winged Dragons c1890
Being offered for sale is this Splendid English Victorian Carved Oak Hall Tree/ Umbrella Stand with Carved Winged Dragons circa 1890's. This antique hall tree would make a fabulous foyer/ entrance way piece perfect for having those coats. Wraps, jackets and umbrellas conveniently at the door. We believe this hall tree stand to have its original finish and its original beveled mirror. This hall tree measures 85 inches in height.42 inches wide at widest point and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 85 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 23 inches in height by 14 3/4 inches wide.There are 10 original turned oak hall/ hat hooks that each project out 5 inches, and the original square metal drip pans at the base each measure 6 1/ 2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. The original finish does have wear and shows some loss in areas. And the mirror ... moredoes have some mild cloudiness and streaking as age appropriate. There is an old repair around the head of the winged dragon on the left that appears tight and secure and appears to have been done some time ago.not real noticeable unless close inspection. The lift up lid to the storage box area at the middle does show some warping that has happened over time.not real bad in my opinion for the age.just character marks and signs of usage for this piece has collected over the past 120 years or so. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. It has the plate that goes in bottom and that is pretty rare to find. According to the research I got on these. It says in book that these were made from 1883-1886 with this particular design, then they made a design almost identical around late 1800's that had a rabbit, then early 1900's they changed it to a duck instead of a rabbit, all 3 designs had the same large dog background. It has two canes held together by what looks to be a collar and a head of a whippet on one and a horse on the other. It has the number 12 on the dog tag. It is about 25" tall, 13 1/2" w and 8" deep. A beautiful quarter sawn oak American hall tree from 1880-1920. The oval mirror is in great condition. And measures 17 1/2" wide x 39 1/2" long with a one inch bevel. It has old hardware and could very well be original as the marks on wood behind the hdwe matches, but I don't know for sure. The seat fits very nicely. Here is a gorgeous Oak Victorian 6' 6" tall seated hall tree. Several delicate applied wood carvings. A beveled 13 1/2" square angled mirror and four Gargoyle hat/coat hooks adorn this beautiful piece. The back of the mirror is marked'B& Co. 1895' The 22" x 14 1/4" seat opens to an 8" deep storage area. This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

Absolutely stunning American Rococo style cast iron hall tree/ umbrella stand. This piece is in absolutely beautiful condition. This hall tree stands 79" tall. Measures about 28" wide, and approximately 15" deep. I believe this is likely mid 19th Century based on comparable hall trees I have researched. Very heavy, heavy piece, parts of it do come apart- mainly the coat/clothes hooks, and the top piece. There is a separate umbrella tray that comes out. The mirror rotates and is on a ball joint. Beautiful design appears to represent flowing branches, leaves, and flowers and at the top of the mirror a beautiful eagle. 1890 ANTIQUE MAHOGANY CLAW FOOT w/ LION HEADS VICTORIAN HALL TREE STAND - 7 foot
This auction is for Pick-up Only. Hall Tree is too large for me to ship. It can be picked up in North Central New Jersey or buyer may make arrangements with their own shipper for pickup. This auction is for a Late 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Hall Tree. It measures approx. 86" tall or just over 7 feet. It has a carved ball at the top. It has 5 Brass hangers on top. It is missing one hanger. It is covered with Acanthus leaf carvings at the top near hangers and again down the column. it has a tapering spiral carved section at the top of the column(see pictures) The base has has four legs with Lion heads which have open mouths and another Acanthus type leaf in front of that. Legs end in a large paw foot. The carvings on this have outstanding detail(see pictures) Finish is original and has a nice Dark Mahogany Patina(color) There are ... morea few scuffs to end of paw feet. Small chip on Acanthus carving was glued back on, and a few small chips missing to carvings here& there but nothing major. Nice large legs on this piece. Legs measure 3.5" wide. Usually you would see legs like these on an item and they would be a little loose or have an open joint but these legs are tight and very strong with no opening or play at the joint of the column. Top section does come apart with large original dowel(see picture) This will need to be reglued by buyer or buyer will need to have someone who is familiar with gluing a dowel to glue this for them. The Hall tree transports much easier with top off. A superb Antique Hall Tree with a 100 year old+ Original Finish. Item must be paid for with Paypal prior to pickup. Rare Early 19th Century Antique French Bamboo Hall Tree Stand 78" Tall
Nineteenth-century French bamboo hall tree with beveled mirror. Root hooks and umbrella tray. Dimensions are: 78" tall by 26" wide by 10" deep. Weight is approximately 30 lbs.
