The mirror glass alone measures 18 ¾” in width and 39” in height. The beautiful finish on this hall tree appears to be original and the patina of the rich walnut wood is absolutely fabulous! This gorgeous Walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival Period Marble Top Hall Tree is adorned with a magnificent incised and dimensionally carved spade and scroll center crown with carved center shield along with elegant drapes and a fancy pediment that consists of crown moulding. Along with raised burl panel accents. The shoulder area beneath the crown is graced with fully turned drop finials. The mirror is framed in beautiful moulding. Eight lovely period turned wooden hat and coat posts are found on this beautiful Hall Tree. These lovely posts are separated by elegant vertical-linear raised burl panels which further accent the beautiful mirrored body of this exquisite hall-tree. The area above the removable original white marble table top with scalloped and beveled edges is adorned with small raised burl panels along with horizontal picture frame moulding. The marble is in very good condition with just some very minor chips on the underside corners of the marble which simply add character to its beauty and elegance. I believe this dates back to the early 1800’s. The finish is black and it is very ornately hand carved by what must have been a master craftsman. The massive crown holds an oval mirror that appears to be original glass. The body is a large rectangular pier mirror with a beveled edge. The mirrors are showing some dark spots and fogging, which is very common to pieces this old. There is a lamp shelf on each side of the large mirror and a small shelf that sits in between the lamp shelves. Below and behind the shelf are 2 smaller mirrors. This is a large elegant piece. We believe this hall tree stand to have its original finish and its original beveled mirror. This hall tree measures 85 inches in height.42 inches wide at widest point and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 85 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 23 inches in height by 14 3/4 inches wide.There are 10 original turned oak hall/ hat hooks that each project out 5 inches, and the original square metal drip pans at the base each measure 6 1/ 2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. The original finish does have wear and shows some loss in areas. And the mirror ... moredoes have some mild cloudiness and streaking as age appropriate. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are ... moreall original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. Welcoming statement as you and your guests arrive, and this wonderful Victorian Ebony over Mahogany marble top Hallstand does that in spades! Note the intricate hand carvings and the subtle veins in the marble are a great touch. The hooks and umbrella/cane supports are original old brass, and the drainage pans are the original iron. The piece is 63" wide x 14" deep and stands 92 1/2" tall. The mirror is the original wide beveled one and does show its age with striations through it. Estate Treasure. Up for auction is a Victorian highly carved hall tree. It dates back to the mid 1800's. It is walnut and the finish has ebonized. It is in very good condition for it's age. The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" ... morewide, and 10" deep. Completely awesome rams head carved in the pediment sitting under a cool carved and turned finial. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. Here's a FANTASTIC antique hall tree/ coat rack/ seat bench from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. I'd say it was made c1890s to c1910. It's in EXCELLENT condition with it's original hardware. Finish and handsome beveled class mirror. The seat lifts for a storage area, however the bottom section within is mission and can easily be replaced for resumed use and not be at all visible either way unless one lifts up the seat. If this were for sale at an antiques store it would easily be priced over $450 to $550 and is worth every bit of that. It came from an old New England home. ANTIQUE EAST LAKE VICTORIAN ERA SOLID WALNUT HALL TREE WITH HALF TABLE, Up for bid is this lovely Antique Walnut Victorian Eastlake Hall Tree with small half table. This Hall Tree has been on our back porch for years. Needs some cleaning and possibly waxing. We're not taking the time to detail many of our items these days. We're selling as is with a complete description of the item. You can feel confident that we'll do our best to show you the good and the not so good on any items we have. Since we are moving, we're taking less and less time to make everything perfect, as we usually try to do. This Hall Tree stands 6' 6 3/4" Tall. 44" across at the widest part, which is the molding across the top. There are no cracks or breaks in the mirrors. The little table below stands 24" Tall by 26" wide and 14" ... moredeep. The table is not original to the Hall Tree but we used it that way for years. The table is also walnut and matches nicely. The wood on both pieces is strong and doesn't have any cracks or odors as some old furniture can have. There are 4 coat hooks that all match in un-polished brass. There are 2 hat hooks on top that are not original to the piece. Those are polished brass. Originally this would have had 4 hat hooks but there are only the 2 and we're selling it this way. They will need round bases and similar hooks can be found on many restoration websites. We did not invest in replacing them. Because some people are into woodworking or refinishing. We did not clean or wax this piece. If someone wants to strip, wax or paint this item, we didn't want to make it harder to do after you buy it. I was lazy in my picture taking and cleaning. We're a bit overwhelmed in this regard so we're hoping you see the gem in this and bid accordingly. We'll start this at a much lower price than usually sold so you can get a great deal. great antique walnut renaissance victorian hall tree original finish/ drip pans
for sale is just a great antique walnut renaissance era or early victorian hall tree. it is in near mint condition save one small blemish above the right middle foot. it is about the size of a dime and that deep. it never bothered me. i could fill it and stain it and you would never know the difference. But i have left it as is. if someone desires that to be done i can do that free of charge. it comes in original finish. i did clean it with new life. in picture 11 you can see where i had cleaned one hook and the three on either side had not been cleaned. it is quite stunning in person but the pictures do not do it justice. it has all the original finials, hooks, and buttons. nothing missing or gone as far as i know. it has some very nice carving here and there as you can see in the pictures. it has a great renaissance crest with a very nice ... morelarge and detailed center finial. it has the original cast iron drip pans as far as i know and the marble appears to be original. the mirror is clear and in very good condition. perhaps it has been replaced at one time, but not by me. the back of the hall tree has its original mirror backing board. it is 35 inches wide and just a tick over 88 inches tall. it is as solid as a rock, no loose parts or wiggles anywhere. the drawer has a nice carved pull and has hand cut dovetail joints and a chamfered bottom indicative that it is a very early piece. i have no doubt i have left something out of the description so any questions please ask. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. it cost 3000 about 12 years ago, i am starting it for a lot less. good luck

Victorian floor standing oak hall tree with fancy iron hooks
Offered is a wonderful antique Victorian floor model tall hall tree in oak. With 4 fancy hooks at the top, 4 smaller arms 1/3 way down, the pole is ribbed from top to bottom, the base has ball shaped feet. It has acquired a wonderful warm patina from age to the wood. The only fault found is a small area where a cat sharpened its claws near the bottom area(see last photo) This must be picked up. I will not ship it. All emails answered ASAP.
