The mirror appears to be original and in good condition as well. The overall size is 42 inches wide at the widest point, 17.5 inches deep at the deepest point, 31 inches high to the marble top and 88 inches high overall. The size of the looking glass is 15 inches by 24 inches. The dove tail drawer has had a knob replaced, but I didn’t even notice it at first. It is in really nice original condition. This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. ... moreThere is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This is a very nice antique oak hall tree. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. It is made of solid quarter sawn oak. It has been refinished. Pretty carving work at the top. Mirror and hooks appear original. Beveled mirror is in excellent condition with one small area near the top showing de-silvering. Drip pan is missing, but one could be added. Hall tree is in very good to excellent condition overall. A narrow piece for a small area! This lovely 19th century Hat/ Coat Rack features beautiful two toned walnut.Pierced carvings& rosettes, 7 turned hat/ coat pegs and a sweet little lift up storage compartment below the mirror. This hall rack measures 52 1/2 inches in height.33 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches in total depth and weighs approximately 25 lbs. The mirror portion measures 16 1/4 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide. great antique quartersawn oak hall tree bench pier mirror, huge with great grain
for sale is a very large quartersawn oak hall tree or hall bench with a mirror big enough to be called a pier mirror. it has very nice quartersawn flake throughout the entire piece. mirror is original and is beveled and shows a tiny big of silver loss and some smokiness. it has nice carvings at various places that can be seen. it has neat arms and arm supports that are very thick. Shaped, and has molding cuts. it has a large storage area under the seat. it is a very large hall tree, 88 inches tall, 16.5 inches deep, and 42 inches wide. all the carving is tight and intact, no missing pieces as far as i can tell. it is very solid and sturdy. it has not loose parts or pieces. it has a very nice contoured crest with a cut out in the center. the arm and arm supports are pegged into the hall tree. i hope the pictures are good enough to add to the ... moredescription. hall trees this size are not too plentiful and don't come up for sale often. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. if shipped i would recommend an antique mover due to the large mirror and large size. good luck.

Huge Oak Victorian Foyer/ Hall Mirror
ALL OF MY PHOTOS ARE BELOW THE DESCRIPTION. 10 photos for this auction. This is a huge golden oak hall mirror that measures 8 feet tall& 5 1/2 feet wide. It has a full one inch bevel around the mirror. There is carved egg and dart trim all around the mirror. Below the mirror is a shelf that is curved. Please look at the photos below to see the other special cravings. It is missing the molding on the left bottom side. This would look great in a jewelry/ clothing store. Or in the foyer to any large building or home. This was found in southern Iowa in a 100 year old clothing store, stored upstairs in what was originally a funeral parlor/ furniture store. Antique Victorian Highly Carved Walnut Hall Tree w/ Beveled Mirror & Marble
Estate Treasure. Up for auction is a Victorian highly carved hall tree. It dates back to the mid 1800's. It is walnut and the finish has ebonized. It is in very good condition for it's age. The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" ... morewide, and 10" deep. Congratulations! You are bidding on a magnificent antique Victorian 1890's Hall seat/tree with bevelled mirror. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. Victorian Hat Rack Hall Mirror STEER HORNS
This is an antique Victorian hall mirror. Adorned with steer horns, and Victorian hooks for hats. This is from my parents estate. Although I suspect that the horns may have been added later. I do know that for all of my 60+ years they have been proudly topping this mirror. The horns span 25" from tip to tip. The mirror is 39 1/2" tall and 30" wide. From wall to horn tip. It juts out 13 1/2" The mirror is beveled. But there are scratches on it from inconsiderate movers. One of the hooks is original. The long one the London top hat is on. The others are from the era, but my guess is that they are replacements, and need antique screws to complete them. The mirror was originally in my great grandfathers office in Chicago, and passed to my parents in 1951. There are two holes in the wood where the mirror was affixed securely ... moreto the wall. This unique mirror is listed as for pick-up only. As due to ill health I am unable lift it to prepare it for postal delivery. 1800's antique cherry stick and ball hall mirror hat and coat rack philadelphia
for sale about the nicest stick and ball hall mirror. Hat, coat rack i have ever owned. it is presented in its original finish. i do not believe there is a piece missing anywhere and if there is any damage of any kind it is so small i have over looked it. at any rate, a wonderful cherry stick and ball hanging mirror with hat and coat hooks, 6 or them. the mirror is bad, however, it is original. if i sell it and the new owner wants me to remove the old silver and back the old glass with a new mirror i will do so for the cost of a new mirror. that would be less than 20 dollars, probably about 12.00. the mirror is 12 inches by 12 inches. the piece is 32 inches wide and 24 inches tall. it has a nicely carved crest at the top. all the fret work is perfect as far as i can tell. the very nice all brass hooks are 4 inches long and a couple have minor ... morebends in them, which could be corrected with little effort. the back over the mirror was a bit loose so i took it off so i could re nail it. in doing so, i discovered and newspaper which was the philadelphia ledger and was dated like 1884 i think, it should show in the picture i have listed. anyway, this paper was folded to keep the mirror from moving within the frame. i do not know if that was placed there when the piece was made and done so at a later date. at any rate, the mirror probably was made or originated in or about philadelphia. it is a fantastic piece, the pictures are terrible, it is 100 times nicer in person. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyers expense. i expect it will go usps for about 30 or 40.00. good luck

This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

This stand has 8 screw in type wood pegs for coats and hats. The mirror measures 9" x 25" The top section is measures 59" from the shelf to the top. The bottom shelf is 3" from floor and the top shelf is 28.5" from floor. There are some repairs to brace the wood as shown in rear view photos. For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. A very fine antique. Circa 1850's, Rococo Revival carved walnut hall serpentine etagere. The crest is with carved grapes and leaves having a scallop shell finial. The supports are nicely scrolled and pierced. The mirror is fine and original. Lots is shelf space for statues, family portraits, or nicknacks. The etegere measures 6'8" 80" tall by 4' 48" wide by 15-1/2" deep at bttom center. The mirror is 29" tall by 15" wide. Excellent condition: walnut boards without chips or cracks, and nicely refinished.

for sale is a very nice and unusual hanging hall or wall mirror. it is quartersawn oak with inlaid designs of leaves and buds etc. very nicely done. it has what appears to be the original beveled mirror that is in very good condition. it has 4 original hat or coat hooks that are in great shape. the side wooden supports have carvings at the top and bottom. it appears as if it is original finish. it has a wire installed to hang it with. the mirror frame is 40 inches wide and 32.5 inches tall. the mirror itself is 23.5 by 19.5. Probably removed it would be 20 by 24 inches. i am starting it at what i paid like 15 years ago. i expect it can be shipped via post office for about 80.00. the hooks would need to be removed and shipped in a separate box. the shipping cost is the buyers expense. good luck

Here's a FANTASTIC antique hall tree/ coat rack/ seat bench from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. I'd say it was made c1890s to c1910. It's in EXCELLENT condition with it's original hardware. Finish and handsome beveled class mirror. The seat lifts for a storage area, however the bottom section within is mission and can easily be replaced for resumed use and not be at all visible either way unless one lifts up the seat. If this were for sale at an antiques store it would easily be priced over $450 to $550 and is worth every bit of that. It came from an old New England home. This glass is curved on all sides creating a wonderful shape framed with curved oak molding. The large bench seat opens for storage and would look incredible with a bench seat made to coordinate with the colors of your room. Measures 84" tall x 41" wide to the edge of the umbrella holder x 18" deep. Nice original matching cast iron coat hooks with scaled serpents or vine shapes. NO mismatched old drill holes to indicate ... morereplacement and these are 1800's. I would bet the farm these are original to the piece.
