Simple but beautiful. This is an antique C-1910 Mission Arts& Crafts oak hall tree in great condition. I did lightly sand. Touch the spots with stain and put a coat of vanish on to freshen up the finish. The seat was cracked so that was glued, lightly sanded, and stained with a coat of varnish. The hardware is original, the mirror is original but with spotting and slightly foggy but it gives it a old look. The boards on the sides have gaps(look at the pictures) Sooo this is pretty original. Charming early quilt stand or rack. Wood is oak that has been turned to create classic spindle shapes. Forged iron legs original to the piece. Stand most likely dates from the 1800's. Overall. The stand is in good estate condition. There is obvious wear to the wood, consistent with its age. The piece is a little wobbly and one end of the top rail can disconnect from its support if you aren't careful. The cast iron feet are well attached, but can be turned. This is a very fine solid oak hat stand that is handmade with no nails or fasteners. It measures 13" wide and is 7-3/4" deep. The holder portion is carefully crafted out of oak and is made from two solid pieces of wood that are joined at an angle in the center to create a simple yet elegant symmetrical appearance. There is an indented brim receiver that is attached to the main portion by two turned dowels that are flattened on the bottom that also has an extra protrusion to keep the hat from slipping off the stand. The fork is carefully and neatly mortised into its base and there are no tacks or nails. The inner diameter of the stand between the forks is 11" The stand retains its original finish and has a beautiful dark patina. Finish is nearly perfect. There are no chips or dings in the wood. This is a very nice antique oak hall tree. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. It is made of solid quarter sawn oak. It has been refinished. Pretty carving work at the top. Mirror and hooks appear original. Beveled mirror is in excellent condition with one small area near the top showing de-silvering. Drip pan is missing, but one could be added. Hall tree is in very good to excellent condition overall. A narrow piece for a small area! for auction is a wonderful hall tree or bench. more apt to be called a hall bench due to its size. this is a masculine piece or more fitting for a man's taste i would say. it is very heavy. Well constructed, thick, and strong. it has wonderful quartersaw oak used in its building. the hall bench is 48 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 18 inches from the floor to the top of the seat, and 78 inches tall. it is a true antique, built circa 1890-1910. it has a lift lid with three hinges and has a lot of storage space. as i said it is very well built and has no wiggles or wobbles. i think you could drag it behind a truck and it would stay together. as far as i know it is all original, has great patina with a nutmeg color to it from age and wonderful and abundant quartersawn flake in the boards. the front feet have a spider like appearance to them, ... moresomething not seen often. it has lots of molding and trim all over it as well as a nice shell crest with neat carvings on either side of it. the mirror is probably original but has been resilvered. hall trees this size are hard to come by and are usually pretty pricy. i am starting this one for what i paid years ago. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. i can help arrange shipment should that be of benefit to anyone. good luck. i can supply more pictures should anyone desire to see something in more detail.

This a great looking etagere from the 1800s. It has four shelves and is made of oak. With brass accents and a mirror. Measures 52" tall x 17-1/2" wide x 12-1/2" deep. The stained and varnished scroll-sawed back is of plywood and does not appear to be original to the piece. It is nailed to the back edge of the shelves and could be removed. This item is in very good condition for its age, although with any piece of antique furniture, it does have some small flaws, such as nicks, scratches, etc. While this etagere is not particularly heavy. for sale is a very large quartersawn oak hall tree or hall bench with a mirror big enough to be called a pier mirror. it has very nice quartersawn flake throughout the entire piece. mirror is original and is beveled and shows a tiny big of silver loss and some smokiness. it has nice carvings at various places that can be seen. it has neat arms and arm supports that are very thick. Shaped, and has molding cuts. it has a large storage area under the seat. it is a very large hall tree, 88 inches tall, 16.5 inches deep, and 42 inches wide. all the carving is tight and intact, no missing pieces as far as i can tell. it is very solid and sturdy. it has not loose parts or pieces. it has a very nice contoured crest with a cut out in the center. the arm and arm supports are pegged into the hall tree. i hope the pictures are good enough to add to the ... moredescription. hall trees this size are not too plentiful and don't come up for sale often. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. if shipped i would recommend an antique mover due to the large mirror and large size. good luck.

This is an absolutely stunning rare Victorian wall mirror that doubles as a coat or hat rack. It is in beautiful condition; the wood and finish are excellent; the wood is oak and it is finished in a rich red mahogany color. The mirror is beveled and in very good condition with some minor light spotting in areas. The coat hooks seem to be cast iron with a gold finish and are all excellent. There are beautifully carved accents all the way around the mirror. There is one small wooden scroll applique missing behind the lower right hook. It's not obvious at all; I did notice it when closely inspected. But the coat hook hides it well and the piece that is missing was very small. There is a stamp on the back that says Lous F. Nonnast, Chicago ILL, and it is numbered 56. 1886 Antique Oak Wall Criss Cross Mission-Style Hat & Coat Rack
This is an antique coat. Glove and hat rack. It is stamped on the back and carved into the wood on the back"MAR 31, 1885& SEPT 14, 1886" It is approximately 32" wide, 20" high and 9" deep. I think that the wood is oak. It is in good condition for its age. The metal brackets are intact and have just a little surface rust. Antique tiger oak hall seat and potty. Fine decoratice carvinf all over. The measurements are 27" high. 25" wide, and 19" deep. It weighs 35 lbs. The seat has two arms and a lift up lid that is held in place by two knobs of wood, one on each side of the arms. Inside the seat is a lid to lift up to remove the original enamel potty. This can be placed in a hallway under a mirror, in a bedroom at the end of the bed or most any room. You can place a cushion on top of the lid. It has carvings on the front and sides.
