The brand is FR ... morewhich is the logo by Fratelli Reguitti and it is made in Italy as stated in gold on the top bar. It has two retractable metal extensions at each end of the bar on top- for ties and belts. The bar on top does have a type of"skid strip" on it to help hold items in place. It has two dowel rods across the upper portion. On which you can hang your slacks. And. Of course, the shoe rack(which is partially covered in brass) is at the bottom. This valet is in excellent condition and only has a few. Hard to notice white marks on the end of each hanger portion as seen it photos. They're only noticable at a very specific angle. I don't see any other flaws- no notable nicks, scratches, or dings to speak of. There is only a minimal amount of wear which is to be expected of a piece like this. This piece has a very high sheen/gloss and is in very nice condition. The feet of the valet come off easily with a small pair of pliers(or even with your hand if the bolts aren't twisted too tightly) and it also has nice brass casters on wheels as pictured. Both of these features are great for ease of travel and/or storage. It measures approximately 42" H x 17 1/2" W at its widest point(which is the wood hanger portion) and is about 14" deep at its base. For ease of shipping. Antique French Neo-classical style Marble top Wooden pedestal with Bronze mounts and trim. The remnant of the 2 label tags revealed the origin of these great pedestals. The tag reads"COLBY'S 18652" I discovered that Colby's Home Furnishings was a major high end Chicago furniture retailer. Originally a furniture maker started in 1868. They are also stamped"Made in France" in the wood. I believe these are late 19th century. Beautiful marble top and Bronze mounts and trim. Compressed bun feet. The wood appears to have been painted or whitewashed white which is mostly worn off. Dimensions: 43.5" high total Marble is 12.5" x 12.5" Base is 13" x 13" Condition: Wonderful antique condition. This auction is for a antique circa 1880. Its made of solid oak. There are 6 double cast iron hooks. Behind the top 2 there are japaned metal plates. Storage for hats& gloves under the seat. Umberella stand with a brass drip pan. This hall tree has some wonderful carving on it there are spade designs, round carved balls at the top and a rectangular carving in the middle.
