The brand is FR ... morewhich is the logo by Fratelli Reguitti and it is made in Italy as stated in gold on the top bar. It has two retractable metal extensions at each end of the bar on top- for ties and belts. The bar on top does have a type of"skid strip" on it to help hold items in place. It has two dowel rods across the upper portion. On which you can hang your slacks. And. Of course, the shoe rack(which is partially covered in brass) is at the bottom. This valet is in excellent condition and only has a few. Hard to notice white marks on the end of each hanger portion as seen it photos. They're only noticable at a very specific angle. I don't see any other flaws- no notable nicks, scratches, or dings to speak of. There is only a minimal amount of wear which is to be expected of a piece like this. This piece has a very high sheen/gloss and is in very nice condition. The feet of the valet come off easily with a small pair of pliers(or even with your hand if the bolts aren't twisted too tightly) and it also has nice brass casters on wheels as pictured. Both of these features are great for ease of travel and/or storage. It measures approximately 42" H x 17 1/2" W at its widest point(which is the wood hanger portion) and is about 14" deep at its base. For ease of shipping. This a great looking etagere from the 1800s. It has four shelves and is made of oak. With brass accents and a mirror. Measures 52" tall x 17-1/2" wide x 12-1/2" deep. The stained and varnished scroll-sawed back is of plywood and does not appear to be original to the piece. It is nailed to the back edge of the shelves and could be removed. This item is in very good condition for its age, although with any piece of antique furniture, it does have some small flaws, such as nicks, scratches, etc. While this etagere is not particularly heavy. It is nice solid oak wood construction. It is a nice heavily carved antiqe European piece. It measures 28 1/2 inches tall and 16 3/4 inches on each side. It has a bow front. It has a metal catch pan in the bottom. This is an old English piece. It is in good condition other than a split in the top near where the umbrellas enter. This really does not affect the piece a great deal but it could be repaired with some glue and a clamp. I have chosen to leave it with the break as I think it adds character and it does not impede the use of the piece. Up for auction is this exquisite antique hat and coat rack. I could see this in a fine clothing shoppe or gentleman's parlor. Just so beautifully made and quite ingenious. Too. The four hat stands plus all the pegs swing open and close to desired position. Made of mahogany wood, it has survived in wonderful condition. There is some age to the finish as shown, as well as one bottom peg was replaced sometime during its life. I think this adds to the charm of the item, but you are to decide. With the hat stands in the straight out position, the rack measures approx. 38" w x 30 1/2" h x 8" d. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(19th Century) pedestal plant stand or table base. This is an extremely well made and wonderfully crafted piece made of either oak or walnut. Though not marked, the stand feature 4 brass talon/claw and wood ball feet which were used extensively by the Merklen Brothers Furniture Company. The feet hold the raised base which is a graduated, turned wood design. The turned wood column features a large, carved pineapple or pine cone center detail. The thick top is quite nice and features quarter sawn wood. The stand retains the original flat screws and hardware. The stand has been EXTREMELY well preserved and though there are a few very minor surface scratches. The finish is still remarkable. The stand is heavy and is very sturdy. They are made of wood painted black(ebonized) The mounts were originally all gold gilt Dore Bronze(loos to retain much of the original gilding under discoloration from being 100 + years old. Each measures about 3 feet high and 8 inches wide at the top(1 foot 7 inches wide at the base) The stands are in good all original condition with some wear and some losses to the finish and wood from age and use(see photos) I would date these to be 125 +/ years old. I believe they are French in origin. The Bronze mounts are similar to Boulle tables and other French furniture that I have sold in the past. Here we have a lovely antique railroad coat hook- hat rack.Tthe wood is old and cracked but when mounted with the existing screws is still sturdy on the wall. The wood measures 30" x 3 5/8" It has five nicely decorated iron double hooks connected with steel rods and thin wire caging. So of the thin wire caging is bent. The top hook sticks out about 2 1/8" from the base and the bottom hook sticks out about 1 1/4" from the base. The top rack part sticks up about 6" from the base. Up for consideration is an exceptional French Louis XVI late 19th century Torchiere/ Plant Stand/ Stand. The piece measures 51" inches tall by about 18 inches across the base with an opening at the top of 8 inches. These stands could be used for a few functions. With a piece of Marble on the top they were used as a stand for a lamp. or object of Art. with the top removed a plant stand. The piece was gilt and Green accents however since then it has been layered with 4 or 5 layers of paint which displays well in a the Paris Apartment or those who enjoy the Chippy Distressed paint look. Antique dark wood Hall Tree- Georgous!!
Georgous piece! No longer have room for my large treasures. I bought this at a high end antique store in East Point GA about 41 years ago. My guess is it's from the 1800's. The carved panels are from rough sawn wood as you can see from teh photo of the back. I am no expert but I believe it to be the original finish. I have only waxed it over the years. It is three pieces; the crown. Mirror back, and base. It is in very good condition. The floor of the base has a line/crack which I think can be easily repaired and does not detract from the overall appearence. There is also one water spot in that area. Again it is in overall beautiful condition, but it is very old so it shows. Note there are openings in the bottom where an unbrella could drip without hitting the wood. I believe there were possibly metal pans there originally to catch ... morethe water. The measurements are 88 1/4" high. 48" wide, and 21 1/2" deep. If you look close you can see a hidden compartment on the right side of the drawer. I have moved rosette cover in photo to show. I am happy to take any additional photos you might want to see. The gold tone on the hooks is also worn somewhat and they have a nice aged patina. Both wall mount brackets are included in good condition. It is in very nice condition and looks great.
