Condition: Used Location: Plainville, United States For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the ... moreearly 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern above the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. There are no major issues with the Hall Tree. Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to see it. I am offering this as local pickup only. My wife purchased it at a Consignment Store on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena California over twenty ago. Of course, we are both up in our years now so the estimate on the purchase might be off a couple of years plus or minus. The shelf is in good overall vintage condition for its age. With normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. A couple of the hooks are missing a screw or two, but it has several other hooks and the little screws can be replaced by the new owner!
