Wood shaving stand w beveled mirror drawer 21-inch hanging cabinet Victorian era
Offered is this charming solid wood shaving stand with beveled mirror and storage drawer. We believe this to be walnut. This cabinet can rest on its four feet. Or it can be hung on the wall. This one has a wire hanger on the back for hanging. The piece has two shelves. The wider one is 6 inches deep and appears above the drawer while the narrow shelf is 3 inches deep and appears below the carved top piece, above the mirror. The shaving cabinet stands 21.5 inches tall and measures 9 inches wide. It is almost 7 inches deep at the deepest point. This piece dates to the Victorian era. Late 1800s or early 1900s. It is a fine piece of cabinet work. This stand is in very good condition for its years. However. Some minor flaws need to be mentioned. The drawer pull, which appears to be brass, has been broken, as you can see if you look closely at ... morethe photos. The wood back has split near the edge, where nails have been inserted. The finish on the beveled mirror shows some small imperfections to the silver. There is a small metal fixture attached to one side of this stand. But we don’t know its purpose– or whether some part of it has been lost. We would appreciate any help a more knowledgeable eBay member might be able to offer. VERY UNUSUAL antique victorian era plant stand. The stone top was probably hand painted and glazed somehow. I'm not an expert on what the materials etc are for this piece. I bought this many years ago from an estate sale and have loved it through the years. I remember the person I bought it from in Indianapolis said it had been in the family for years. It is in good shape as the pics show with various wear around the legs. The stone top has some crazing and there is one thin crack that goes from the edge to approx. 1/3 in towards the center- see last pic. It measures 31" tall. beautiful petite victorian era curio shelf or etagere. the only thing wrong with this very nice stand is the top miror which has a little discoloration in mirror. stands 60" tall. 24" wide. 3 shelves with very nice rolled edges. delicate spindles would accent any room in the house. no chips or cracks in the wood. i don't know what kind of wood but could be cherry or mahogany.

ANTIQUE EAST LAKE VICTORIAN ERA SOLID WALNUT HALL TREE WITH HALF TABLE, Up for bid is this lovely Antique Walnut Victorian Eastlake Hall Tree with small half table. This Hall Tree has been on our back porch for years. Needs some cleaning and possibly waxing. We're not taking the time to detail many of our items these days. We're selling as is with a complete description of the item. You can feel confident that we'll do our best to show you the good and the not so good on any items we have. Since we are moving, we're taking less and less time to make everything perfect, as we usually try to do. This Hall Tree stands 6' 6 3/4" Tall. 44" across at the widest part, which is the molding across the top. There are no cracks or breaks in the mirrors. The little table below stands 24" Tall by 26" wide and 14" ... moredeep. The table is not original to the Hall Tree but we used it that way for years. The table is also walnut and matches nicely. The wood on both pieces is strong and doesn't have any cracks or odors as some old furniture can have. There are 4 coat hooks that all match in un-polished brass. There are 2 hat hooks on top that are not original to the piece. Those are polished brass. Originally this would have had 4 hat hooks but there are only the 2 and we're selling it this way. They will need round bases and similar hooks can be found on many restoration websites. We did not invest in replacing them. Because some people are into woodworking or refinishing. We did not clean or wax this piece. If someone wants to strip, wax or paint this item, we didn't want to make it harder to do after you buy it. I was lazy in my picture taking and cleaning. Measures 66 1/4" high; the base legs are 23" across or 16" measured squared. The top has 5 of the 6 oak posts. 1 post is missing but should be easy to improvise a replacement.
