Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. Simple but beautiful. This is an antique C-1910 Mission Arts& Crafts oak hall tree in great condition. I did lightly sand. Touch the spots with stain and put a coat of vanish on to freshen up the finish. The seat was cracked so that was glued, lightly sanded, and stained with a coat of varnish. The hardware is original, the mirror is original but with spotting and slightly foggy but it gives it a old look. The boards on the sides have gaps(look at the pictures) Sooo this is pretty original. This hall tree is 76" high. 25 1/2" wide and 16" deep. Local delivery only

This is a very nice antique oak hall tree. I'm not sure of the exact date. But likely very early 1900s. I believe it to be an American made piece. It is made of solid quarter sawn oak. It has been refinished. Pretty carving work at the top. Mirror and hooks appear original. Beveled mirror is in excellent condition with one small area near the top showing de-silvering. Drip pan is missing, but one could be added. Hall tree is in very good to excellent condition overall. A narrow piece for a small area! for auction is a wonderful hall tree or bench. more apt to be called a hall bench due to its size. this is a masculine piece or more fitting for a man's taste i would say. it is very heavy. Well constructed, thick, and strong. it has wonderful quartersaw oak used in its building. the hall bench is 48 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 18 inches from the floor to the top of the seat, and 78 inches tall. it is a true antique, built circa 1890-1910. it has a lift lid with three hinges and has a lot of storage space. as i said it is very well built and has no wiggles or wobbles. i think you could drag it behind a truck and it would stay together. as far as i know it is all original, has great patina with a nutmeg color to it from age and wonderful and abundant quartersawn flake in the boards. the front feet have a spider like appearance to them, ... moresomething not seen often. it has lots of molding and trim all over it as well as a nice shell crest with neat carvings on either side of it. the mirror is probably original but has been resilvered. hall trees this size are hard to come by and are usually pretty pricy. i am starting this one for what i paid years ago. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. i can help arrange shipment should that be of benefit to anyone. good luck. i can supply more pictures should anyone desire to see something in more detail.

But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. It will stand out in even a large entry hall. It is made from heavy quarter-sawn oak finished dark. The wood hooks are solid and strong and ready to take a full load of coats. The bronze umbrella pans in the base are removable for convenient cleaning. This piece is in very good antique condition with minor chips and scratches consistent with its age. Antique 1900's Ball Stick Arts & Crafts Solid Oak Hall Tree Coat Rack Seat WOW!!
Up or auction is an INCREDIBLE antique late 1890's-1920's Arts& Crafts Ball& Stick solid oak hall tree. This is a wonderful example of ball and stick design. There are 5! beveled glass mirrors and wonderful carvings to go with the top. Middle and lower ball& stick galleries. So much work went into this. There is a hammered brass umbrella stand with barley twist bars to hold the tops. There are WONDERFUL Eastlake style coat hangers all present and matching. The are mounted to turned wood disks that float with sticks inside a wood frame. There is a real show piece hand carved oak detail of raised rectangles at the main center that is just incredible to think it was hand carved. Two matching sun ray designs are above and below the mirror. Lastly there is a wonderful little drawer below the seat with telling joinery that dates ... morethis to the machine age. The corner joints are routered pins and holes in half round circles(Anyone who knows the name of this joinery I would love to know) This piece measures 83" tall x 29" wide x 16" deep. It is not a huge piece. In fact I believe the top crown to have been added to give height to this piece. I only have a very slight color change to go by and VERY WELL may be wrong but perhaps the house this was going into needed a little more height. There are little flame points at the top and ball and stick with the square posts matching perfectly so it is an old addition if at all. You can see how it would look with out it as this comes right out of its four mount holes. This is a piece to see in person. I would never hold you to an auction for a piece of furniture that you only saw pictures of. Feel free to bid and if this piece isn't as incredible to you and I think it is. Here's a FANTASTIC antique hall tree/ coat rack/ seat bench from the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. I'd say it was made c1890s to c1910. It's in EXCELLENT condition with it's original hardware. Finish and handsome beveled class mirror. The seat lifts for a storage area, however the bottom section within is mission and can easily be replaced for resumed use and not be at all visible either way unless one lifts up the seat. If this were for sale at an antiques store it would easily be priced over $450 to $550 and is worth every bit of that. It came from an old New England home. Antique oak hall tree hat coat rack stand. It has hand turned carved pole at the center with oak ball finials at the top and bottom. The base has 4 splayed legs. Measures 66 1/4" high; the base legs are 23" across or 16" measured squared. The top has 5 of the 6 oak posts. 1 post is missing but should be easy to improvise a replacement. Fine clean solid sturdy condition- check my photos. Unique style is quite special and would look quite impressive in your retro home. Guaranteed a genuine antique over 100 years old. Antique Victorian Solid Oak Framed Oval Beveled Mirrored Wall Hall Hat Rack Tree
This is a fantastic original Victorian mirrored hat rack with heavy solid oak frame and beveled oval mirror in the center. It is in very good condition overall. But the large curvy arms on the top two hooks have been removed, leaving just the two smaller hooks on each side of the top. They are fully functional and still attractive as-is, and unless closely inspected, look like they were made that way. All four hooks are intact on both sides of the bottom. The oak frame has a rich dark color and bold grain. All joints are tight and the frame is solid and sturdy. The mirror has some light streakiness and cloudiness, but images still look clear throughout. There is an area of missing silver(shown in the photos) where a piece of the original wood back panel is missing and the silver got scraped off. Offered for auction is this beautiful Victorian era hat rack mirror. It is in very good condition and has its original and very ornate hardware. Hooks. It also has hardware for easy hanging. Beveled port hole style mirror is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Mirror itself does have a couple of small dark spots from the silvering deteriorating, overall it is still very clear. Solid oak frame is very well made and heavy. Great piece of Victorian craftsmanship. When I ship this I will be taking the hat hooks off and shipping them in a seperate box. I think it will be safer that way.
