Magnificent! Rare Antique Angel Statue Verona Italy Handcarved 100 Yrs Old ~
Absolutely exquisite piece that has been in my family for 70 yrs and was purchased by my aunt from the estate of a world known opera singer. The singer lived in a very upscale apartment building in New York City in the early 40's. My aunt was her neighbor and was able to purchase this incredible angel putti statue floral arrangement stand from the singer. The singer said that it was a treasured piece from Verona Italy. Her hometown village. This statue is all wood. Over the years the paint has developed a magnificent patina. The gold has bronzed, the trompe l'oil on the scarf cloth that the angel is holding is exquisitely painted in blue and all the paint is well preserved. EXTREMELY ORNATE AND UNIQUE.QUITE RARE! This listing is for a beautiful. Solid gilded brass, antique cigar stand. This stand is the solid gilded brass; is not the less attractive cast iron that most are made of. The stand was manufactured by the Scroll Art Company from Bridgeport, Conn. stamped) and is circa 1895 to 1898. Quite extravagent, the stand features an ornate, Fleur de Lis pattern on the base in the Arts and Crafts genre. It has a large center tray upon which rests a very detailed, Gothic designed dragon with exposed teeth. The dragon holds the large cigar holder which is also the ashtray cup. This large cup is removable for cleaning. This stand is very heavy brass(it does NOT accept a magnet) and the brass has been gilded. It is very weighty and is extemely sturdy. It is in very good condition with some minor aging to the patina ... moreparticularly on the brass tray top. The aging does not affect the appearance of this spectacular piece. The stand is also marked" Patent Applied For" on the base as well. This is not a piece that is easily found and was not mass produced. It is grand in design and unsurpassed in quality and beauty. Up for auction is this exquisite antique hat and coat rack. I could see this in a fine clothing shoppe or gentleman's parlor. Just so beautifully made and quite ingenious. Too. The four hat stands plus all the pegs swing open and close to desired position. Made of mahogany wood, it has survived in wonderful condition. There is some age to the finish as shown, as well as one bottom peg was replaced sometime during its life. I think this adds to the charm of the item, but you are to decide. No makers mark. Great carving. I think it is black walnut. Its in good original condition. Only damage is the right arm was broken off& glued back on some time ago. It is a pretty tight fit. There is also an age crack on the back& right side. No bad chips or gouges. It stands 28 1/2 inches tall. The base is 8 5/8 inches across. Top is 7 1/4 inches across. The recessed lip on top is 5 1/2 inches across. Man in a toga. Looks to be holding a Lilly Pad? Nice detailed carving. You don't see to many of these. Any questions just ask. Antique Victorian c1890 Walnut Shaving Stand Scrolled Ball Detail Rare Roccoco
This rare Victorian shaving stand was owned by a collector for many years. It is constructed mainly of walnut. But is also made with other various species of wood. Great applied scrolled and ball detail with downturned finials on the top. The stand also has a lid that opens to store toiletries. It is in what I consider mint condition. However there are two very minute cracks in the wood at the top and bottom of the mirror(last two photos) that are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close, but I have to mention. It measures 18”w x 15”d x 62”h to the top of the tilting mirror. for auction is a hard to find antique magazine rack or stand. antique magazine stands just don't come along very often. at any rate. This is a neat one. oak stick and ball. it has the original finish, brass rings, perfect antique condition. there are no loose joints, no missing parts. it is very sturdy and ready to use. when open for use it is 40 inches tall, 13.5 inches deep, and 19.5 inches wide. the diagonal braces on the sides are pegged on and come off with little effort. this allows the magazine rack to fold up for storage. when folded up it is 52.5 inches tall. and just 2 or 3 inches thick, so it can be put under a bed or behind a door or whatever for storage. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. it can go ups, usps, or fedex to list a few avenues of delivery.

Rare, Antique Chinese carved rosewood and marble stand table Qing~ heavy 19 Lbs
Up for sale is this rare very heavy. Antique late 1800s"Dragon" Chinese carved rosewood marble top round table. This table measures 19 inches tall and 13 inches across at the widest point. The top level that includes the marble is 10 3/8" inches across. The table is completely hand carved and tool marks are clearly visible. I date this table to be from late 1800s. it has a few damages. Missing one small piece approx. size 2" x 3" another side needs a piece on the left side and there might be one or two small pieces missing. It is very heavy weighing 19 lbs. Look at my pictures because they are also part of my description. I am not an expert on asian antiques or table, purchased from an estate sale, therefore do not hesitate to contact me with further questions.

Up for auction is a Rare AAFA Antique Circa early 19th Century Hand Carved Nautical Coat/Hat or Plate Holder/Herb Drying Rack. This is a long. Very old rack at 45.5 inches long. Extends from wall 5 and 1/8 inches, with Width of 10.5 inches. The carvings are simply spectacular and the nautical hooks are very rare and unique.This is a one of a kind 19th Century antique coat rack/herb drying rack. The back of the coat rack/kitchen rack is not uniform as shown in photo, since there is a small curved strip of board missing at the top of the back board which is not seen anyhow once mounted to wall, or, the rack could have been intentionally made with this board originally. Rack sits flat on a wall or table. Was most likely made for holding plates, hanging pots,and drying herbs. The top of the rack shelf is square grooved all along the top of the ... morerack in order to place three rows of plates at the top. It has 2 drawers with cockbeaded trim and has hand cut dovetailed joints. It has what appears to be original wooden mushroom knobs and rope twisted legs.
