We believe this piece to have its original 6 brass hat/ coat hooks that each measure 3 1/2 inches and it appears to have its original mirror which does show some slight silver loss as age appropriate but doesn't warrant replacing in my opinion. The 7 inch wide by 6 inch deep rose marble is in excellent condition and also appears original to the piece. The base features its original cast iron drip pans( 8 in wide by 5 3/4 in. deep) that have a clover leaf type design inside. This shaving stand measures 68 inches in height to the top of the finials on the mirror. Height from the floor to the marble top measures 41 1/2 inches, with a total width of 18 1/2 inches and total depth of 18 inches and this stand weighs approximately 55 lbs. The original mirror measures 15 1/2 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide. The inserted brown marble measures 12 3/4 inches wide by 12 1/4 inches deep. This is a spectacular carved Victorian Etagere from the 1800s. It would be stunning in a grand entrance or foyer with a high ceiling. I understand this piece to be Walnut. I am not sure if it is an English or American. Excellent condition. But the mirror has been replaced. One small split in a section of wood just above the marble top. One drawer which is almost hidden by design. This etagere is currently safe in climate controlled storage. If I had anywhere to properly display this item in my home, I would not be selling it. This late Victorian corner etegere/what not shelved stand is in great found original condition. The walnut wood finish is original and has a fine patina. The pierced. Reticulated wood workings are detailed and ornate. Each shelf has a scalloped edge on it(on the second shelf an approx. two inch piece is missing) The marquetry inlay from the softer fruitwoods is hand cut and then embedded into each shelf surface. The inlay on each graduated shelf is in great condition. The entire piece is tight, and I have found no repairs, breaks or other damage. The carvings are in excellent condition. The hall tree measures 96" tall by 50" wide by 18" deep. It weighs over 100 lbs. It includes a marble shelf and cast iron drip pans for the double umbrella holders on each side. There are 2- 6" round shelves on each side. The 6 metal hangers are in the form of gargoyles with tear drops hanging from their mouths. One of the tear drops is missing. The mirror has minor flaking along the outside edges. Antique Victorian Highly Carved Walnut Hall Tree w/ Beveled Mirror & Marble
Estate Treasure. Up for auction is a Victorian highly carved hall tree. It dates back to the mid 1800's. It is walnut and the finish has ebonized. It is in very good condition for it's age. The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. Late Victorian walnut floor coat/hat racks are hard to find. This solid walnut coat/hat rack is c. 1890-1910. It appears to be in the original finish with a consistent patina. There are no repairs or breaks that I have found. The brass ball is in great shape. I am not sure if there was a finial of some type that went on top of the brass ball. Offered for auction is this beautiful walnut Renaissance/Louis XV revival/Rococo Victorian substyle Canterbury with single drawer that opens from both sides. This piece has a lyre motif on the ends with small wooden dowels that form the"strings" of the lyre. Both sides and legs are elaborately carved with applied roundels. Carved stylized leaves, and raised solid walnut panels. The canterbury is supported by flat carved cabriole legs. The single drawer is accessed from both sides and has open scroll work dropped pediments. 4 walnut dividers mirroring the sides are dadoed into the top and base of the canterbury to support and divide books, magazines, or sheet music. Antique Victorian Edwardian walnut hat stand display -almost 2 ft tall
I am offering this antique Victorian or Edwardian walnut hat stand with small brass feet. This is the type of hat stand that was used in department stores for the display of fine hats. It is in excellent antique condition but does have scuffs. Etc from being used in the past as shown in the photos, in keeping with what one would expect from a hat stand of this era. It is 21 1/2 inches tall and looks like it may have had the top of the hat stand recovered with the black velvet that nows covers it. This will be shipped from a smoke free and pet free home. Antique Eastlake Victorian Quilt Rack; 19th Century, Walnut Towel Drying Stand
Up for bids we offer this Eastlake Victorian quilt rack in very good condition. Right out of an estate. This piece is all original and has not been restored. Made of walnut, the finish is well-preserved and not alligatored. This stand is still very sturdy and useful; it's not rickety or falling apart. It has three rods for hanging items on with two more matching ones at the bottom that serve as braces to keep the rack stable. As the photos show, it's ornate and would look great among other Victorian furniture but also is pretty enough to be used anywhere. It measures 23 inches long, 28 1/4 inches high and 10 5/8 inches wide. One small wooden peg-ornament is missing on one of the feet. Antique Victorian Carved Hanging Shelf Perfect to display a Large Clock- Charger or Curio Circa 1880 DESCRIPTION A charming Victorian antique shelf. This is circa 1880's, an original and still in very good condition. Made of walnut a handsome grain and reddish in coloring. This has carved supports to the shaped platform of the shelf. And two little drop finials at the front corners on the underside of the shelf. This still has the old heavy metal hangers attached to the back for securing to the wall. We've looped some picture wire through them to show this displayed on a wall. The shelf surface is good and wide and deep and the entire piece is very strong and sturdy and heavy. Weighs 6 lbs. So perfect for displaying a large clock, a charger, a statue or other curio. I bought this many years ago from an estate sale and have loved it through the years. I remember the person I bought it from in Indianapolis said it had been in the family for years. We left the original mirror intact because it has wear marks that give it so much charm and character. The rod goes up and down to adjust for height, and the mirror swivels. The drawer has a compartment for the shaving brushes, and of course is all dovetail and has burl panels. The brass on the piece is quite unique. It stands on a multi-turn column four-legged base, and is all set to go in the home. The overall size is 18.5 inches at the widest point, 12.5 inches deep, and 7 inches high. This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. Quite strong and made from solid, perfectly matched thick single stock black walnut. The insert is original, made from a heavy cast iron with original moss green painted surface. Excellent condition. Measures 27.5 inches high to the top of its four top turnings, 14 inches outside and 11 inches deep. The sides are a full 1 inch thick and the turnings 2 inches. This is one of the best Victorian cane, umbrella stands we have ever acquired. Most probably made by Brooks or one of the other important New York City cabinet makers. Hello. Antique Victorian Walnut Rococo Revival Style Shaving Stand With Mirror
This wonderful walnut shaving stand is in a Rococo revival style and was produced during the height of the Victorian period. It stands 70 inches to the top of the mirror. The case with the drawer is 17 inches across and 12 inches deep. The top of the case is 41 inches from the floor. The drawer is a nice dovetailed construction. The mirror moves front to back on a swivel. The mirror lifts out of the case and rests on a turned post. There is a split underneath the mirror on the seam. I believe it just needs to be tightened. Also. There are circle stain or water marks on top of the case. Otherwise the piece is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. All parts appear to be original. There is also an age crack on the back& right side. No bad chips or gouges. It stands 28 1/2 inches tall. The base is 8 5/8 inches across. Top is 7 1/4 inches across. This Hall Tree has been on our back porch for years. Needs some cleaning and possibly waxing. We're not taking the time to detail many of our items these days. We're selling as is with a complete description of the item. You can feel confident that we'll do our best to show you the good and the not so good on any items we have. Since we are moving, we're taking less and less time to make everything perfect, as we usually try to do. This Hall Tree stands 6' 6 3/4" Tall. 44" across at the widest part, which is the molding across the top. There are no cracks or breaks in the mirrors. The little table below stands 24" Tall by 26" wide and 14" ... moredeep. The table is not original to the Hall Tree but we used it that way for years. The table is also walnut and matches nicely. The wood on both pieces is strong and doesn't have any cracks or odors as some old furniture can have. There are 4 coat hooks that all match in un-polished brass. There are 2 hat hooks on top that are not original to the piece. Those are polished brass. Originally this would have had 4 hat hooks but there are only the 2 and we're selling it this way. They will need round bases and similar hooks can be found on many restoration websites. We did not invest in replacing them. Because some people are into woodworking or refinishing. We did not clean or wax this piece. If someone wants to strip, wax or paint this item, we didn't want to make it harder to do after you buy it. I was lazy in my picture taking and cleaning. great antique walnut renaissance victorian hall tree original finish/ drip pans
for sale is just a great antique walnut renaissance era or early victorian hall tree. it is in near mint condition save one small blemish above the right middle foot. it is about the size of a dime and that deep. it never bothered me. i could fill it and stain it and you would never know the difference. But i have left it as is. if someone desires that to be done i can do that free of charge. it comes in original finish. i did clean it with new life. in picture 11 you can see where i had cleaned one hook and the three on either side had not been cleaned. it is quite stunning in person but the pictures do not do it justice. it has all the original finials, hooks, and buttons. nothing missing or gone as far as i know. it has some very nice carving here and there as you can see in the pictures. it has a great renaissance crest with a very nice ... morelarge and detailed center finial. it has the original cast iron drip pans as far as i know and the marble appears to be original. the mirror is clear and in very good condition. perhaps it has been replaced at one time, but not by me. the back of the hall tree has its original mirror backing board. it is 35 inches wide and just a tick over 88 inches tall. it is as solid as a rock, no loose parts or wiggles anywhere. the drawer has a nice carved pull and has hand cut dovetail joints and a chamfered bottom indicative that it is a very early piece. i have no doubt i have left something out of the description so any questions please ask. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. it cost 3000 about 12 years ago, i am starting it for a lot less. good luck

THis is an Estate Sale find that was sold to me as a Victorian walnut piece. It looks to have it's original finish. There are some scratches and a water stain on the top. It seems sturdy with no broken or loose pieces. It would look awesome with a nice fern on top or whatever else you can imagine. It is app. 31" tall x(15 1/2" long and 11 1/2" wide on the top piece. My friend who deals in Antiques called and told me that it could also be a side table or a Parlor table because of the size of the top. Antique Victorian c1890 Walnut Shaving Stand Scrolled Ball Detail Rare Roccoco
This rare Victorian shaving stand was owned by a collector for many years. It is constructed mainly of walnut. But is also made with other various species of wood. Great applied scrolled and ball detail with downturned finials on the top. The stand also has a lid that opens to store toiletries. It is in what I consider mint condition. However there are two very minute cracks in the wood at the top and bottom of the mirror(last two photos) that are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close, but I have to mention. Antique Victorian Carved Walnut w/Marble Top Hall Tree
Purchased in the late 1990s from the Strasburg Emporium antique shop in Shenandoah valley in Virginia. Appears original finish from 1870s(a bit of a guess as no provenance was included with this piece) with nice patina. Beautiful chocolate marble top over single drawer. I tried to show the condition, which is overall good, there is some wear and tear as well as some separation at some joints due to shrinkage/drying. There appear to be two missing hat hooks, and the hall tree does not stand on its own in a very stable way, so I have a picture wire and a picture hook in the wall for extra stability. Other than that The piece is as I purchased it, a nice Victorian accent piece ready for your period home or shop display. Wonderful antique Victorian cast iron and walnut bible/book stand for your consideration. These are much harder to find in walnut. The stand is completely portable and breaks down in seconds. All adjustments are easy to make and work like it was made yesterday. All pictures were taken before cleaning just after I found it in a barn here in Amherst. NH. Barn dates from the late 1700s and the homestead was once owned by a man of the cloth adding a little nostalgia to the piece. Will make a wonderful addition to any decor from primitives to industrial and steampunk. I've had a few of these in the past and this by far is nicest fully working example I've found. I love my eBay. This is a beautiful Victorian walnut hall mirror that has been in my family for many years. It has tobacco twist sides and an Eastlake design at the top. Both the mirrors are beveled and have been replaced. The front has the original marble which is detachable. There are two decorative finials on the top. A small shelf beneath the marble top surface, and the base has a stick and ball design around the bottom. Size is about 6 feet tall and 30" wide. All structurally and cosmetic ... moresurfaces very good. This item is PICK UP ONLY! A very nice antique piece of furniture. I am fairly sure this is from the late 1800's to very early 1900's. Antique Victorian walnut hall tree, 1800-1899
For sale is a nice Victorian Walnut hall tree in very nice shape. I made the mistake of buying this off Ebay a couple of years ago without seeing on the pictures that the umbrella arms were missing. Therfore I have priced this reasonably. It should not be a big deal to have a woodworker fashion 2 arms out of some walnut and finish them in a dark color to match this. You may ask why I did not do this and it was because my wife does not appreciate old Victorian furniture the way I do so I am selling it. I paid $875.00 for this and I know I will take a hit but I have to be honest and tell you there are no umbrella arms; the pictures will show that. The marble and wood are in great shape. It is a nice piece. Unfortunately I can't deliver this. The dimensions are: 41" wide at the base which is the widest. 13" deep, and 89" high. ... moreI don't know the weight but I feel it is between 75-100lbs because it is easy to move around. By the way, the finish is excellent.

Antique 1880's Ornate Victorian Walnut Fern Plant Stand 30" Tall
I am Selling a Original 1880's Victorian Period Fern Stand. The piece is made of Walnut wood with a beautiful detailed designed base with three legs. The stand measures 30" tall. Top is 14" round and base is also about 14" wide. The Stand is in great, clean original condition, solid with no breaks or damage, top has usual lite wear for its age and again has not be restored, just polished. Antique Victorian Book Stand made in Lamble, NY Cast Iron and Walnut Wood
Book stand base with a walnut shelf. Splayed metal legs on casters and height adjustment screws. Center table will hold items of interest measuring 18 inches wide and 16 inches long, with 4 metal/ lattice sides. Adjustments are up and down, wood panel spread apart for different size books, angle/tilts. Fully assembled is 41 inches tall in the back and 38 1/2 inches tall in the front. Shipping will require it to be disassembled. The book base is 21 inches wide and 13 inches deep. It is marked on the back with PAT. dates Aug. 21. 83, Aug. 4, 85, and Aug. 1, 85 The base is cast iron measuring 16 1/4 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches deep.
