Nice 2008 Roadhouse Stratocaster Tortoise Shell Loaded pickguard with parchment knobs and pickup covers. With a set of factory Texas Special pickups(used on the much more expensive SRV model) this setup gives you that nice sparkle and growl that strats are known for. The Texas Special pickups on the Roadhouse Stratocaster have a pretty solid reputation in the guitar playing community. They do have the classic bell like tone Strats are known for. But they really shine with a little more distortion. The Roadhouse Strat's downright sexy growl is a testament to the Texas Special pickups. Please note this auction is for shells only(no bases) All 4 chairs have raised Herman Miller logo on undersides. There is also one loose round foil silver and white Charles Eames/ Herman Miller/ Zeeland Michigan medallion which fell off one of the chairs. Through description and photos I'm trying to describe all flaws although the chairs are overall in good condition and will be very nice with a good clean up and polish. Chair#1. Shell has no chips. Holes or cracks. Minimal edgewear/light scuffs. See photo of bottom. Back has raised Herman Miller logo, stamped number and also embossed letter"B" Chair#2. Shell has no holes or cracks. There is a 1/2" scuff/nick ... morealong edge of chair(viewer's right) near top. Shown with blue stickie. It is not quite a chip but you can feel that the edge is rough in that spot and see it if you look. Otherwise, light scuffing and wear along edges. Back has raised Herman Miller logo, stamped number and also embossed letter"B" Chair#3. Shell has no holes or splits. There are some spots where color is faded/discolored.see photo. One squarish spot is noticeable. Where the seat meets the back(see blue sticky with arrow) and then there are some more minimally faded areas on the upper half. Edge is scuffed and slightly cracked at top left edge of chair. It is not broken and the area is completely sturdy. On the top right back edge there is a shallow crack that does not go through chair or affect sturdiness. It is not very noticeable but can be felt when running hand along edge. These two issues are pictured below in close-up. Otherwise, chair#3 has minimal scuffing and wear along edges. Back has stamped number and raised Herman Miller logo. Chair#4. Has a beautiful carved back with open work detail. The top rail has a carved plume or shell the legs are carved chippendale. The seat is webbed and filled with horsehair. The upholstery is fresh and clean with a burgundy/rust color with yellow details. The beautiful nailhead trim on 3 side of the chairs is brass. DW Collectors Series 3 Piece Drum Shell Set- SNARE DRUM STAND NOT INCLUDED Sizes 22x18. 12x9, 16x13. Tangerine Glass wrap with Black Hardware. This is a beautiful- looking and sounding- drum kit and I have taken great care of it. The bearing edges and actual drum shells are all in great shape. There is the usual pedal rash as well as other minor dings on the bass drum hoops There is some minor discoloration on the bottom top hoop where the black coating is fading and the metal is showing through. See pics for more info. There are a few scratches on the black floor tom legs and bass drum legs as well as minor scuffs on the wrap where I set spare drum sticks. This is so minor that I could not capture it on camera. I am just erring on the side of full disclosure so there are no surprises upon receiving the set. As you can see in the pics- overall. ... moreThe kit looks outstanding. The wrap is not original but was professionally applied(flush with the bearing edges) However. I was told that it was non-permanently applied so that it can be removed to reveal the original ebony satin finish underneath. The wrap is popping up at the seams a little bit(see pics) Also, the eyelets around the air-holes have been removed, a cheap fix that I have never gotten around to doing. None of this is noticeable from too far away or under stage lighting. In fact, this wrap looks incredible on stage which is why I have chosen to not remove it. I put clear Evans G1s on the toms not too long ago. They've been played but still have plenty of life in them. They really sing on this kit. Also. There is an Evans EMAD on the bass drum. Comes with a DW bass drum pillow inside that velcros to the shell. Includes the original DW STM mount for the tom. I didn't use this much as I had it mounted on a snare stand as seen in the pics. The wonderful scene lights up beautifully on this shell lamp as it sits upon the cast bronze base with three legs. Which are each mermaids with their arms up as if holding up the shell. The base is painted dark green and as pictured, where the paint is chipped off the bronze has aged to natural green patina. The lamp stands 7 1/4" tall by 4 1/4" wide, the base is 2 1/2" tall. Sound, set up with low action and plays fine Some marring to the back of the neck and a little belt buckel rash but otherwise shows normal age and wear. Just a great playing guitar.
