There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected ... moreto back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. It has a simulated metal cap on the front. It is nice and straight. The only thing I see wrong with it is that the back of the side pieces has a support brace missing on the left hand bracket, but other than that it is nice. We will detail out the cracked panel and make sure it is tight and sturdy prior to shipping. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 17 inches deep on the base, 21 inches high to the marble, and 98 inches high to the top. If you have 8 foot ceilings, you can remove the top crest to fit your space.

Made in England, Victorian era, Circa 1890, Mahogany, Hidden drawer, Carved leg, Dovetailed drawer, Some normal wear to top, Age splits and old repairs to apron, A wonderful antique specimen from England around 1890. This hall table was probably once used as a washstand. But today would function perfectly in a foyer, entryway, hallway, or stairwell. The mahogany has a particularly nice patina to it that can only come with age. The piece features a hidden drawer in the middle for a little bit of storage room. The nicely carved front leg gives the table ... moresome pizazz while the clean lines of the piece don't over do it. The drawer is dovetailed, a sign of high quality craftsmanship. There are a few age splits and old repairs in the apron shown in the photos. These are purely cosmetic phenomenon and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The top also shows wear marks consistent with age and has a faded ring to the right side. Overall the table is quite sturdy and would make a wonderful addition to any home. The top is a beautiful patinated mahogany. It is in good condition. You can see the slight ring to the right side. The top does show signs of wear consistent with age in the form of tiny dings all over the surface some of which can be seen here. The wonderfully carved leg is supportive and good looking. The hidden drawer pulls out to reveal some storage space. The drawer is dovetailed. A sign of high quality craftsmanship. Both sides have similar slight age separations and repairs on the apron. This splendid hall tree features fabulous pierced carvings. Burl walnut accents, brass hat/ coat hooks, its original marble top and the original fancy iron drip pans that are each embossed on the inside" S.F.Co.Cin.O" This fine 19th century hall tree measures 78 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the very top. Height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 27 3/4 inches, with a total width of 37 inches and a total depth at the base of 11 inches and this hall tree weighs approximately 70 lbs. The mirror measures 19 1/4 inches by 11 inches and the marble measures 14 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches deep. Each of the iron drip pans measures 6 1/2 inches by ... more7 1/2 inches. Being offered for sale is this Splendid English Victorian Carved Oak Hall Tree/ Umbrella Stand with Carved Winged Dragons circa 1890's. This antique hall tree would make a fabulous foyer/ entrance way piece perfect for having those coats. Wraps, jackets and umbrellas conveniently at the door. We believe this hall tree stand to have its original finish and its original beveled mirror. This hall tree measures 85 inches in height.42 inches wide at widest point and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 85 lbs. The actual mirror portion measures 23 inches in height by 14 3/4 inches wide.There are 10 original turned oak hall/ hat hooks that each project out 5 inches, and the original square metal drip pans at the base each measure 6 1/ 2 inches by 6 1/2 inches. The original finish does have wear and shows some loss in areas. And the mirror ... moredoes have some mild cloudiness and streaking as age appropriate. There is an old repair around the head of the winged dragon on the left that appears tight and secure and appears to have been done some time ago.not real noticeable unless close inspection. Just acquired out of a wonderful. Southern Ohio estate, we are able to offer this exceptionally nice, and quite early, circa 1860's- 1880's era ~ VICTORIAN CAST IRON HALL TREE, UMBRELLA& CANE STAND, SIGNED JOHN MOORE NEW YORK ~ Please be sure to check out all of the 12 pictures we took of it. This is by far the nicest and most unusual example of an original 1870's era, Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree stand we have ever had the opportunity to offer for auction. It measures 87 inches tall to the top of the fancy pomegranate fruit basket figural finial. The lower"hat rack" arm" by the mirror" with 4 hooks, measures 41 inches across and the top arm with 4 hooks measures 26 inches across. The base measures 28 inches wide by about 12 inches deep. There are a total of 9 very fancy large cast iron hooks which are ... moreall original to the hall tree. I even believe that the mirror is possibly original as well, with only some minor discoloration to the silvering. It has the original removeable bottom tray to rest your canes and umbrellas. The tray is signed ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ on the bottom as well as signed on the back of the hall tree ~ JOHN MOORE N.Y.~ The over all condition is very nice with the exception of one broken hook on the bottom tier of cane rests- see picture# 11. It is actually not all that easy to tell because it is an inside hook. There is also one hook on the center column near the figural Lion's Head which has some damage. All of the large eight cast iron hooks on the top two sections are in perfect condition with no damage! The entire body and base is in perfect condition as well, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina to the cast iron is all original and we left it in 100% all original, as found, untouched condition. This would make a wonderful addition to any grand foyer entrance or a wonderful piece to display some of your prixed walking sticks or Victorian umbrellas and hats. The finish is black and it is very ornately hand carved by what must have been a master craftsman. The massive crown holds an oval mirror that appears to be original glass. The body is a large rectangular pier mirror with a beveled edge. The mirrors are showing some dark spots and fogging, which is very common to pieces this old. Being offered for sale is this wonderful Victorian Walnut Wall Hall Tree Coat Rack with Mirror and Storage circa 1880. This lovely 19th century Hat/ Coat Rack features beautiful two toned walnut.Pierced carvings& rosettes, 7 turned hat/ coat pegs and a sweet little lift up storage compartment below the mirror. This hall rack measures 52 1/2 inches in height.33 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches in total depth and weighs approximately 25 lbs. The mirror portion measures 16 1/4 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide. Each of the turned hat coat hooks protrude out 5 3/4 inches and the little storage compartment measures 14 1/4 inches wide by 6 inches deep. This hall rack would be a wonderful addition placed at an entrance way to keep those jackets and coats handy. ALL OF MY PHOTOS ARE BELOW THE DESCRIPTION. 10 photos for this auction. This is a huge golden oak hall mirror that measures 8 feet tall& 5 1/2 feet wide. It has a full one inch bevel around the mirror. There is carved egg and dart trim all around the mirror. Below the mirror is a shelf that is curved. Please look at the photos below to see the other special cravings. It is missing the molding on the left bottom side. This would look great in a jewelry/ clothing store. Or in the foyer to any large building or home. This was found in southern Iowa in a 100 year old clothing store, stored upstairs in what was originally a funeral parlor/ furniture store. Antique Victorian Highly Carved Walnut Hall Tree w/ Beveled Mirror & Marble
Estate Treasure. Up for auction is a Victorian highly carved hall tree. It dates back to the mid 1800's. It is walnut and the finish has ebonized. It is in very good condition for it's age. The small diamond shaped mirror at the top is spotted and streaked and a piec of molding around th mirror is missing. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. As with any antique furniture there are going to be some character flaws but I have pointed out everything even slightly major. It stands 89" tall. 23" ... morewide, and 10" deep. Great find here. Super sized Victorian walnut hall tree made by Mitchell and Rammelsburg of Cincinnati Ohio and they were great. Odd model with elephants turned trunks up on the outside rails. Completely awesome rams head carved in the pediment sitting under a cool carved and turned finial. This one-of-a-kind hall seat is made of solid oak with quarter sawn arms that end in hand carved lions' heads. It has claw feet and decorative carvings on the curved skirt and mirror surround. It has four decorative metal brackets for hanging hats around the mirror. It also has a deep storage seat. Quite frankly. It has the look and feel of a throne! It has been restored with an oak stain and satin polyeurothane finish in order to stand up to the rigors of daily use. Oh how I hate to part with this beautiful oak hall stand(doesn't fit in our new old house) I've had it for 25 years. When I bought it. It had just been beautifully restored. It is in excellent condition. There is a slight variation in the finish on the seat. The beveled mirror has no imperfections and it has a charming gargoyle(Northwind" at the top, two umbrella holders, six original coat hooks, a green velvet back rest and a drawer in the seat. 45" wide including the umbrella trays, 16" Deep and 82" high. Beautiful Victorian late 1800's Eastlake hall tree umbrella stand with iron drip pan. To the best of my knowIedge the pan is original to the piece. Measuring approximately 32"W x 88" H x 15" D. This stand has 8 screw in type wood pegs for coats and hats. The mirror measures 9" x 25" The top section is measures 59" from the shelf to the top. The bottom shelf is 3" from floor and the top shelf is 28.5" from floor. There are some repairs to brace the wood as shown in rear view photos. Victorian Hat Rack Hall Mirror STEER HORNS
This is an antique Victorian hall mirror. Adorned with steer horns, and Victorian hooks for hats. This is from my parents estate. Although I suspect that the horns may have been added later. I do know that for all of my 60+ years they have been proudly topping this mirror. The horns span 25" from tip to tip. The mirror is 39 1/2" tall and 30" wide. From wall to horn tip. It juts out 13 1/2" The mirror is beveled. But there are scratches on it from inconsiderate movers. One of the hooks is original. The long one the London top hat is on. The others are from the era, but my guess is that they are replacements, and need antique screws to complete them. The mirror was originally in my great grandfathers office in Chicago, and passed to my parents in 1951. There are two holes in the wood where the mirror was affixed securely ... moreto the wall. From a grand old estate jam packed with antiques. Folk art, primitives, tramp art, etc. of every kind. I will not live long enough to sell it all. You are bidding here on an old wall mount coat or hat rack with mirror as shown. Probably more for hanging hats than coats. Iron hangars fold in and out as needed. Wood appears to be either an oak or chestnut. Original finish, dust and all. We have not cleaned it, wiped it nor anything else- photographed and sold exactly as found. Sound and intact. Monumental because of its exceptional cleaned finish and monumental in size. Don't let the pictures deceive you it's a whopper! Measures 100" tall x 49" wide and 20" deep. Antique Victorian Solid Walnut Hall Tree/Umbrella Stand w/Mirror, Marble Shelf
This is an absolutely beautiful solid walnut Victorian hall tree/umbrella stand. It measures 73 inches tall. 32 inches wide at the base and 26 inches wide at the top. It has the original mirror which measures 19x11 and a dove-tailed drawer with the original 12x8 marble shelf. There are six'dowel' hangers and two copper lined insets for your umbrellas. The sides are decoratively carved and there is a carved front inset. The top has a carved applique. It has been refinished with a natural stain and four coats of tung oil. The piece is in excellent condition with no'dings' or scratches. The mirror does show some wear. It is available for pick-up in the Louisa and/or Kilmarnock, VA area.

The mirror section alone measures 54 ½” long by 24 ½” wide. This fabulous Victorian Hall Tree is in excellent condition for its age, and is ready for that special place in your home or business! A magnificent massive foliate and scrolled center crown graces the top of this spectacular Burl Walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival Period Marble Top Hall Tree with crown moulding. This magnificent folate and scrolled center crown is further graced with a ... morestylized fleur-de-lis carved ornament above a carved circular sunflower medallion with a distal leaf pediment. Lovely raised burl panels with incised Greek Keys surround this carved circular sunflower medallion. You will notice that additional lovely burl accents are found on the sides of the original mirror glass. The tops of the shoulders are handsomely adorned with shell and scroll carved ornamentations that sit above raised pyramidal rosettes. Turned fluted columns with additional pyramidal rosettes and distal turned finials grace the sides of the mirror and extend down to meet the powerful arched umbrella-holder arms. These turned fluted columns provide the perfect accent for the mirrored body of this spectacular Hall Tree. Again. The mirror glass itself appears to be original with age appropriate wear and is encased in lovely picture frame moulding that is further adorned on the sides and across the bottom with lovely burl accents.
