This original rack is 29" long~~3 3/4" tall~~the oak wood is 13/16" tall and 1/2" thick~~the 5 hangers are 2 1/2" long and 2 3/16" tall. As my 3rd and 4th pictures show. You can hang this rack using either side. One side is fluted. The other side is pla in and shows the saw blade's marks. All 5 of these hooks will swivel 360 degrees. Here we have a lovely antique railroad coat hook- hat rack.Tthe wood is old and cracked but when mounted with the existing screws is still sturdy on the wall. The wood measures 30" x 3 5/8" It has five nicely decorated iron double hooks connected with steel rods and thin wire caging. So of the thin wire caging is bent. The top hook sticks out about 2 1/8" from the base and the bottom hook sticks out about 1 1/4" from the base. The top rack part sticks up about 6" from the base. Offered here is a 19th century Victorian wall mount stick and ball oak wood coat/ hat rack with iron swivel hooks and a center beveled mirror. There is no damage to the wood. Iron hooks or mirror. One small hook is missing and there is some expected age to the silver on the mirror which is still clear and usable. The gold tone on the hooks is also worn somewhat and they have a nice aged patina. Both wall mount brackets are included in good condition. It is in very nice condition and looks great. Antique Coat and hat rack Here we have a lovely antique railroad coat hook- the wood features a nice beveled edge around the bottom and sides and measures 38" x 3 5/8" It has six nicely decorated iron double hooks connected with steel rods. The top hook sticks out about 2 1/8" from the base and the bottom hook sticks out about 1 1/4" from the base. The top rack part sticks up about 6" from the base. The wood was carved out to hold the hooks- The wood is in great condition- and the finish appears age appropriate. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa late 1800s to early 1900s approx 37" Cast Iron Hook with Walnut Back Board Wall Mount Coat Hat Rack. This type of rack was used in the Pullman/ Sleeping train cars. Most of the time that you see these. They are all beat up- this particular one is in really nice shape for its age. This is cleanest one that I have seen in quite a few years. The walnut backboard is in great shape. Nice clean original finish- the only issue is that approx 5/8" was cut off on the right end- maybe so it could fit a certain spot. The iron hooks are excellent. The wood section is approx 37" long. The metal rack 35" or so. It weighs approx 4 lbs as it sits. I will package with care and send fully insured. Antique Pullman Car Railroad Train Cast Iron Coat Hooks w/Hat Rack 6 Hook Set Here we have a lovely original circa late 1800's early 1900's Antique Pullman Sleeper Car Railroad Coat Hook set with Hat Rack. It has Six Nicely Decorated Iron Double Hooks Connected with Steel Rods for the hat rack. The rack appears to have its original gilt paint from long ago but it’s not all intact and very chippy. There may have been a woven wire mesh for the hat rack area. The wood that it is mounted on may or may not be original but is old and has some old iron stained holes in it. The condition of this rack seems age appropriate- No damage at all to the hooks. My wife purchased it at a Consignment Store on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena California over twenty ago. Of course, we are both up in our years now so the estimate on the purchase might be off a couple of years plus or minus. The shelf is in good overall vintage condition for its age. With normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. A couple of the hooks are missing a screw or two, but it has several other hooks and the little screws can be replaced by the new owner! Antique 1887 O'DELLS OAK HAT & COAT WALL RACK 5 CAST IRON HOOKS INDIANAPOLIS
For your consideration. An antique, victorian oak, wall hanging hat and coat rack, with a natural oak grain finish and five 3-step metal hooks. The oak board is incised on the front DELL"S Hat and Coat Rack Pat NOV.1, 87 MFD. by Odel WW Works Indianapolis" The hooks are of an early, rare ornate design that fit into the board and held in place by rivets on the top. The board is contoured on three sides. It measures 31 inches long; 4 inches high and 3 1/4 inches in depth from the wall. The back has a paint reside from an earlier life. Antique Wood Hat Coat Rack Amazing Hooks Beveled Mirror LARGE Old ESTATE
I purchased this gorgeous mirror at an estate sale several years ago. It has serve our family well as an entry way welcome. I don't have any history on this piece other than what I was told. Its from the late 1800's( as told) I don't know if the mirror is original or not. It is beveled and has no chips. The mirror is framed in intricate wood beading. The large frame of the mirror has a carved edge and has applied carved leaf like wood. There are 6 hooks- two of those hooks( in the center of the frame) are doubled. All have a some small paint on them in red and blue. They are painted gold and a magnet does stick. The hooks look like butterfly wings or fairy wings. They are casted and will be removed and shipped separately through USPS. Measuring the hat rack end to end is 38 inches long and 31 inches tall and 1 inch thick. The ... moremirror measures 25 inches by 19 inches. It's a very heavy piece and suggest Greyhound for shipping. Greyhound take a while but is quite a bit cheaper. Happy to quote Fedex.
