This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. There is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This stand measures 76 7/8 inches tall, 30 ¾ inches side to side and 14 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. Charming early quilt stand or rack. Wood is oak that has been turned to create classic spindle shapes. Forged iron legs original to the piece. Stand most likely dates from the 1800's. Overall. The stand is in good estate condition. There is obvious wear to the wood, consistent with its age. The piece is a little wobbly and one end of the top rail can disconnect from its support if you aren't careful. The cast iron feet are well attached, but can be turned. Otherwise, there are no breaks or repairs. The piece stands 30" tall and is 23.5" long. At the top it is 7" wide and the feet are each 9" wide. This piece came from Europe and is truly Baroque style. This is very ornately hand carved. The drip pans for the umbrella stands are missing and there is a split in the bottom shelf that runs across where the drip pans would be. There are 4 wooden dowels that serve as racks to hold hats or coats on the upper portion of the stand. Originally I believe there were 6 racks but looks like 2 are missing. ... moreThere is a long oval mirror in the center upper portion of the back. The mirror looks very old. It may be the original mirror. There is a lot of discoloration around the edges of the mirror. There is a glove box in the center of the stand with a hinged lid. There are bun feet on the front. This item is in great condition for being 200 years old however it is antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact age or who made it. This stand measures 76 7/8 inches tall, 30 ¾ inches side to side and 14 ¾ inches front to back. It weighs 54 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. This is a very unusual umbrella stand. I have never seen one like it. The frame work has a design reminiscent of a harp, has a brass rail and drip pan. carved arrow leaves a the top adds lot of interest to this lovely piece. 1800's antique cherry stick and ball hall mirror hat and coat rack philadelphia
for sale about the nicest stick and ball hall mirror. Hat, coat rack i have ever owned. it is presented in its original finish. i do not believe there is a piece missing anywhere and if there is any damage of any kind it is so small i have over looked it. at any rate, a wonderful cherry stick and ball hanging mirror with hat and coat hooks, 6 or them. the mirror is bad, however, it is original. if i sell it and the new owner wants me to remove the old silver and back the old glass with a new mirror i will do so for the cost of a new mirror. that would be less than 20 dollars, probably about 12.00. the mirror is 12 inches by 12 inches. the piece is 32 inches wide and 24 inches tall. it has a nicely carved crest at the top. all the fret work is perfect as far as i can tell. the very nice all brass hooks are 4 inches long and a couple have minor ... morebends in them, which could be corrected with little effort. the back over the mirror was a bit loose so i took it off so i could re nail it. in doing so, i discovered and newspaper which was the philadelphia ledger and was dated like 1884 i think, it should show in the picture i have listed. anyway, this paper was folded to keep the mirror from moving within the frame. i do not know if that was placed there when the piece was made and done so at a later date. at any rate, the mirror probably was made or originated in or about philadelphia. it is a fantastic piece, the pictures are terrible, it is 100 times nicer in person. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyers expense. i expect it will go usps for about 30 or 40.00. good luck

Antique Mahogany 1800's Empire Style Plant Stand Original
This Plant Stand is 31 inches high and measures 16 inches across the top. It held the telephone in my parents home from 1936 until 2008. I believe it came from my grandmother's home and dates around 1880. It withstood the band of Irish hooligans that lived there. It started off with the old bakelite party phone and ended up with a panasonic phone. The spindle is tight to the base. There is a little wiggle at the top of the spindle that would be easily remedied. The weight is 15lbs. I'll ship whichever way is the cheapest. Thanks for Looking!

Up for auction is a Rare AAFA Antique Circa early 19th Century Hand Carved Nautical Coat/Hat or Plate Holder/Herb Drying Rack. This is a long. Very old rack at 45.5 inches long. Extends from wall 5 and 1/8 inches, with Width of 10.5 inches. The carvings are simply spectacular and the nautical hooks are very rare and unique.This is a one of a kind 19th Century antique coat rack/herb drying rack. The back of the coat rack/kitchen rack is not uniform as shown in photo, since there is a small curved strip of board missing at the top of the back board which is not seen anyhow once mounted to wall, or, the rack could have been intentionally made with this board originally. Rack sits flat on a wall or table. Was most likely made for holding plates, hanging pots,and drying herbs. Looks like a mahogany to me but i am no authority on antique woods. Stand itself is in gorgeous condition, it sits flat and level and looks to stand perfectly straight, it does not wobble around and none of the joints creek though i think the only joints there are is the top plate and maybe the bottom tri pod. its a very dark mahogany in color, not to far from an ebony in color. the carving on this piece is fabulous, the is no damage, cracks or chips what so ever, maybe just the most trivial of tiny dings here and there but nothing that is noticeable. you would have to be way up close to see any blemishes and honestly there really arent any. stand has its original ... morebottom pegged feet aswell which you often dont see on pieces this old. top to bottom this stand is gorgeous and completely original, doesnt look to have ever been refinished though there is no reason for it anyways. shipping quote i have for this is just a guess,if it ends up costing more to ship i will cover the cost,if its any cheaper i will refund you the difference. Antique Victorian walnut hall tree, 1800-1899
For sale is a nice Victorian Walnut hall tree in very nice shape. I made the mistake of buying this off Ebay a couple of years ago without seeing on the pictures that the umbrella arms were missing. Therfore I have priced this reasonably. It should not be a big deal to have a woodworker fashion 2 arms out of some walnut and finish them in a dark color to match this. You may ask why I did not do this and it was because my wife does not appreciate old Victorian furniture the way I do so I am selling it. I paid $875.00 for this and I know I will take a hit but I have to be honest and tell you there are no umbrella arms; the pictures will show that. The marble and wood are in great shape. It is a nice piece. Unfortunately I can't deliver this. The dimensions are: 41" wide at the base which is the widest. 13" deep, and 89" high. ... moreI don't know the weight but I feel it is between 75-100lbs because it is easy to move around. Large Antique Wood Eagle Shelf, Coat, Hat Rack, Early, Mid 1800's, Glass Eye
This antique eagle shelf and coat rack appears to date from the early to mid 1800's. It is made of oak and is very large measuring 39" long by 10" tall by 8 1/2" deep. The shelf on top has a few very minor chips to the edge of the shelf. There is minor rubbing to the racks which is to be expected of an antique dating between 150-200 years old. The most noticeable cracks are at the back of the shelf and are secured by iron brackets. These brackets are very old and may have been attached at time of making. The cracks have been filled in but again many. Many years ago. Overall, it is in very good condition and the glass eye of the eagle is intact and original. A wonderfully carved eagle looking like it could by styled after the Salem eagle.

Antique Marble Pedestal Column Stand 44" tall Italy Italian 1800 's
This is an antique marble stand not new. It is from the 1800s. Purchased with the statue which is signed by the artist from the 1800s. Minor ware due to age. Overall condition very good to excellent. Antique 1800's Mahogany Spoon Carved Pierced Eastlake Hall Tree Umbrella Stand
Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous antique 1800's High End Eastlake mahogany halltree marked M&N Schrenkeison. New York. This halltree is heavily pierce carved in thick solid mahogany. There are also wonderful spoon carved details in burl walnut and around the piece. Heavy cast iron umbrella cups sit at the bottom in beveled edge carved trays. The hat or gloves top is high end gray speckled marble that looks original. There are six spool carved coat hooks and a beautiful beveled glass mirror in excellent condition. Antique Preachers Bible Stand vintage late 1800's Oak 18"L x 14"W x 12" H
This is an antique Bible Stand which was most likely on the pulpit of a local church up here in Northern Wisconsin. As you can see it is ornately carved and I believe it to be oak. The Georgian shaving stand has a circular. Tapered and molded case which is fitted with a pair of demilune lids. The case is surmounted by a balustered and telescoping brass shaft. This is top with a swiveling. Circular mirror in a reed-molded frame. The case is raised on balustered and ring-splayed. Bowed and fluted legs. The case has various scuffs and shallow scratches with the inside of the compartments having slight adhesive stain and scratches. The baluster above the tripod legs has an area of 3/4" x 1/2" dent in the lathe work. The mirror is original ... morewith loss near the frame to mirrored backing or silvering.
