Raised panels of burl walnut, carved rosettes, incised carvings, the original mirrors and the original recessed beveled edge marble top, with shaped walnut display shelves flanking the center mirror. Truly a grand statement piece you would be proud to showcase in your home. This fabulous étagère measures 105 1/2 inches( 8' 9 1/2" in total height. Height to the marble at the base is 29 3/4 inches, with a total width of 54 inches and total depth at the base of 19 inches and this étagère weighs approximately 250 lbs total but does dis-assemble into 3 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The original mirror at the center measures 46 3/4 inches in height by 22 1/2 inches wide. This Victorian étagère is in fantastic antique condition. The original mirrors do show some mild spidering silver loss as common with old mirrors. And the original white beveled edge recessed marble top has no chips or cracks but does have some mild discoloration as age appropriate. There is also a small age shrinkage area to the wood by the bottom mirror on the right side see picture of close-up, and a piece of burl veneer missing on the left side towards the back; see close up picture. Neither of these affects the integrity or beauty this elegant piece offers. The locks are intact on the drawer and the cabinet below but the key provided just aids in opening the drawer and the cabinet. One small split in a section of wood just above the marble top. One drawer which is almost hidden by design. This etagere is currently safe in climate controlled storage. Antique Walnut Eastlake Three Shelf Stand: Ornate Incised Carvings , c.1880
This walnut Eastlake stand is in excellent condition. The shelves's surfaces may be an older finish but the remainder of the stand seems to be in the original finish with a great patina. The entire stand is sturdy and tight in construction. The two lower shelves provide additional space for display. All three shelves have great skirts with ample Eastlake influence in the numerous incised carvings on the wood. The turned legs at the floor level curve out from the stand to provide added detail but also extra sturdiness. Pre 1800 Walnut Carved Pair of Beds Exquizite Carvings Must TAKE A LOOK
Up for your viewing is this Wonderful pair of Antique Beds Carved of solid walnut it is of french origin. But is from a Monastery somewhere in Europe. We have presented these beds to Christies Auction and to Sothebys only to be told there is no market for these beds. The estimates we have received is between 125,000. to 250,000. We do not know a lot about these except that the Person on the headboard is an Abby of the 12-13 century and that the beds could date back considerably we have listed these at a fraction of there value. We are open to any other info that maybe out there. The carvings are very unique and we feel are very significant as a Christian heirloom. The headboard is a carving of an Abby and the footboards are carvings of Jesus and Mary. We can deliver to most any state in the lower 48 for $750. or you can arrange pickup. Update ... morethe person depicted on the headboard is St Bernard and the small crusader flags on the top corners of the footboards are reflective of St Bernard as he was a supporter of the crusaders. New information from the previous owner these were purchased about 25-28years ago in Belgium at an antique auction. St Bernard of Clairvaux is carved on the headboard.

PAIR OF SHABBY 'N CHIC WALNUT CABINET / CUPBOARD DOORS W/ APPLIED CARVINGS
This is a pair of vintage walnut veneer doors with applied carvings and a large carved handle or pull. They were apparently painted originally with some paint residue remaining. The backs are painted with a grey or silver speckled finish. There are some small veneer chips on the edges, they have there original hinges still attached. Antique Walnut High Headboard Bed Beautiful Carvings and Gold Metal Castings
This is a beautiful high headboard walnut. And burl walnut bed. The dimensions are close don't kill me if I'm off a half inch here or there. It is 89 inches tall, 57 inches across on the inside of the frame, 74 inches long once again on the inside of the frame, and the foot board legs are 34 inches tall. I'm guessing it is from the 20's or 30's and is in excellent condition for it's age. There is a narrow shrinkage crack in the left hand headboard panel, other than that there are some small dents and dings in it, look at the pictures to see what you think or ask for more pictures and I will be happy to send them. The yellow metal castings are very well done a man's head with a lion's head perched on top of his. Great carvings of a pair of pears at the top of the headboard. There is a fringe across the foot ... moreboard. And there are round roller casters built into all four corners of the bed. Antique Victorian walnut dining room table with nut carvings NO RESERVE!
Walnut table with nut carvings c1850 Beautiful patina/ original finish Moving. Must sell- NO RESERVE This is a beautiful walnut table with graceful legs and intricate nut carvings on the legs and the skirting. It has quite a few stretchers. So I think it could expand considerably, though we have no leaves for it. We do still have the extra support legs. The casters are solid brass with wood rollers. The top is in good condition given it's age. it does have some water marks and a few black stains- see photos for detail on condition. One of the support legs has cracks due to the wood used, not from age. Note that the leg support mechanism is dovetailed, probably by hand. The table top measures 55 X 41 inches. Antique wood Armchair - oak, walnut? Animal / Floral carvings
Antique side chair( or more accurately armchair) passed down to me by my great-grandparents. It was likely purchased in Europe or England during their trips in the 1920s and 1930s. This chair feels even older than that. With a delicately carved top rail in a floral pattern, though it looks more like a fox to my eye. Part of a paper tag remains on the bottom of the seat support- whatever maker's name there was has torn off and is gone, unfortunately. Parts of the chair are turned. Others are carved, and there are even faux screw heads carved right into the wood to make it look as though it was assembled from different pieces. It's unlike anything else I've seen, and I cannot find any information on the maker. Unsure of the wood species. But could be oak, walnut or even mahogany. Very dark and rich, with no signs of ever having ... morebeen stripped or refinished. That simply wasn't my family's style. and it's been in our possession the entire time. The seat has been reupholstered by my wife during our ownership. but I'm quite certain she put the new material over the previous fabric. Unknown if original fabric remains beneath that. But the seat platform itself is almost certainly original. Size: 20 by 20 inch seating area. Quite diminutive- 35 1/2 inches high This would be a beautiful decorative chair in almost any setting- seems like it would fit well with other furniture in the Arts& Crafts. Craftsman, Victorian, Asian influence, English, European or Black Forest German styles. The top rail definitely has the feel of a pagoda or some Japanese or Chinese quality about the way it overhangs the rest of the sides. But it's not overly one style vs. another- it's just beautifully done. Incredible hand work. And deserves to be cherished. I haven't noticed any repairs or damage. I'm willing to ship. European Walnut Step Back Cupboard from the Victorian era. Incredible ornate hand carved floral motifs on doors. Glass and crown. There are 2 tiny tips of leaves that are broken off on glass motif as well as a little separation in a vine. It has inlaid inch squares of walnut on top, above the drawers. Antique Handcrafted Side Table, Burled Walnut, inlays, carvings, Circa 1850's
Beautiful table. And a REAL ANTIQUE. Just like you would see in a fine museum, but available to purchase for your home. Curators, Historians and Master Woodworkers will recognize all the fine, incredible hand crafted detail, the exotic veneers and careful marquetry. All made from hand tools, no power lathe used here. The top consists of burled walnut veneers with inlays of what appear to be butternut. in a symmetrical pattern that continues around the top. Highly polished, the wood just gleams! The outer edge of the solid top is then hand carved with detailing that repeats on the bottom of the table's center leg, which is carved into a tight, thick spindle, made from a solid piece of walnut. Absolutely Stunning! Finial on the bottom is also solid walnut. NOTE: it appears to us that the legs and board holding the top to the base may have ... morebeen replaced at one time. These would have been the areas taking the most stress and wear on a table of this type, so we are not surprised to see it. The replacements are solid wood, and in keeping with the style. They were also well done, as the table is solid. Some of the marquetry is missing, again, to be expected in a piece this old. Please notice the machined screws, those aren't original. Thankfully, they won't be seen, unless for some reason) you find yourself flat on your back, under the table. One more thing to point out, the top is NOT FLAT, but slightly wavy, but this has not distorted the patterned top in any way, and none of the veneer is loose. May have been made just like it is. Pair of European Walnut Beds Catholic Historical Beds St Bernard Carvings RARE
Up for your consideration is this wonderful set of walnut beds heavily carved dating to the late 1790 to 1820's. The beds are a direct mirror image of each other even to the tiniest of details. Both beds have been examined by local antique dealers and also a Catholic scholar here locally. The Saint depicted on the headboards is St Bernard of Clairvioux and on the foot boards are Mother Mary and Christ Child. These carvings are in deep relief. It has been determined that the flags depicted on the footboards are a representation of the Crusaders with whom St Bernard was a supporter. The country of Origin is France. As to whom they were made for is still a mystery however we feel they are one of a kind. I will list measurements later this week. All Reasonable Offers will be Considered.
