It dates from the 1790's and I think is a Dunderdale or Sowter piece. There are some interesting features to note: there are 13 stars above the Eagle. So this teapot pre-dates Vermont becoming the 14th state; the Eagle is holding the arrows in its right foot, so before 1805 when the arrows were moved to the left foot. The spout of the tea pot is chipped. With some of the green band at the tip also worn away. There is some crazing and one of the plates is fairly dirty, and the inside of the tea pot has dirt inside as well, as shown in photos. Antique Haviland& Company Limoge porcelain lemonade set. The pitcher measures 6 1/4" tall by 8" in diameter spout to handle is 8.5" There are 6 matching tumblers. The tumblers measure 3 3/8" tall by 2 3/4" in diameter. The set is beautifully hand painted with blackberries and gold leaf trim. There is only one chip on a tumbler which is inside the rim and does not show from the outer rim. There is some very light wear to the gold. There are no other chips.Cracks or discoloration all in excellent condition. This is a superb set! We have priced modestly, if you disagree make me an offer. Tressemanes & Vogt T&V Limoges yellow rose chocolate pot 10" tall with gold gilt
I have for auction this evening a very fine Limoges chocolate pot by Tressemanes and Vogt aka T&V Limoges. This visually stunning piece is made of extra fine French porcelain and is cast in a unique mold style with a fantasitic decorative handle that has been beautifully molded and applied. The finial of the piece is shaped like a laurel leaf and the whole presentation of the piece harkens back to the earlier Empire style of the Napoleon era. The beautifully hand painted yellow roses are delicate and elegant and the gold gilt accents are some of the finest I have seen in a very long time and really help to set this piece appart from its contemporaries. I am always looking for the unique and this piece certainly fits that bill. The blown out mold ribbed and leaf mold design around the upper portion of the base is another visual treat as ... morewell. This is an amazing piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection of very fine antique porcelains. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece measures 10" tall to the top of the finial with the cover in place and has a base measurement of 3.75" and spans 5" from spout tip to handle end. This piece dates from the late 19th to very early 290th centuries and bares the makers as well as the the studio design marks from those periods. Condition report: This piece is in antique excellent condiiton with no chips. Cracks or crazing. There is some wear to the gold gilt especially around the upper rim and cover rim and there is a dark firing pop on the face of the piece that has been glazed over and an attempt to disquise it was made by the artist with his painting skills. The Laurel laef handle on the cover is in perfect condition and is a surprise for such a delicate piece and really is a testament to how treasured this piece has been since it was created. Rosenthal Donatello mold 8.5" chocolate pot with heavy gold gilt and beading EXC
I have for you this evening a lovely chocolate pot by the Rosenthal porcelain factories in Selb Bavaria in 1922. This lovely pot is made of a nice quality whiteware porcelain and is in the Donatello mold pattern. The pot is heavily gilded in high quality gold gilt that has not tarnished over time and has acquired a rich deep patina that is very pleasing to look at and gives the piece an"old world" antique charm that is so desirable on these more modern vintage pieces. The piece has gold beading along the upper rim as well. This piece would make a nice addition to any cabinet setting or could even be used at your next tea or winter celebration. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece measures 8.5" tall with cover in place and spans close to 7" across from spout tip to handle end. This piece ... moredates from 1922 by the mark. Condition report: This piece is in vintage excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. There is a sliver off the inside rim of the cover but that may have happened during the firing and does not affect the show value at all as it can only be seen when you look inside the cover when off the pot. Nippon Tea Set Teapot Sugar Bowl Creamer Roses Moriage Designs
A beautiful set consisting of a teapot with lid. A creamer and a sugar with lid. Has fully opened roses in yellow, purplish and maroon all hand painted. There are some hand painted green leaves as well, but the stems and portions of leaves are a raised green moriage design. Clusters of the heavy cake moriage are in designs of flowers, randomly placed. Additional moriage designs in greens, yellows, blues and pinks. These are found on the finials, handles and bases of the pieces. This unmarked set measures in at 5 1/4 inches wide for the creamer by 2 1/2 inches at the tallest. The sugar at 6 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches at the tallest. The teapot at 7 1/2 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches to the top of the finial. All in all a very nice set with minimal issues. A couple of the cake moriage flowers beads show some wear to them. A small amount of the ... moremoriage areas have wear or interupted design.I would guess less than 2 percent. The last picture shows the tip of the spout for the creamer.this area has some roughness to it. All in all a very nice set in a very attractive pattern. Antique 14 Pc Set Victorian Chocolate Pot Cups Saucers Roses E&R Germany
Here we have a very pretty porcelain chocolate pot with lid and 6 cups and saucers. The chocolate pot measures just under 10" to the top of the lid and 7" across the spout and handle. The saucers are just over 5" across and the cups are 2 3/4" tall and just under 2 1/2" across the top rim. Pitcher is marked E&R Made in Germany. Cups and saucers are unmarked. I found one really tiny flake(more like a rough spot) on the rim of one of the cups(see last few closeup photos) The lid has a dab of green paint as shown. I believe that the roses are transfers and then they all have handpainted highlights. There is typical wear on the pieces, few light scratches here and there. Really a gorgeous set! This is a wonderful Teapot! It has a different floral design on either side of the bas. The spout is ornate and has a gold trim. The Teapot also has gold trim work on the lid rim and handle. There is on very small chip at the base of the handle. The makers mark is Arthur Wood& Son Staffordshire England Est. 1884 with the number 6097 in gold and a pink 5 or s to the side. Lovely Art Nouveau teapot-treacle brown glaze teapot with swirly silver overlay with hand engraved details. Front of teapot has a monogram and the back has a dogwood flower. Bottom of the teapot is covered in silver so the mark is not visible. Teapots of this style were popular in the early 20th century-1890-1910. No chips or cracks. The lid fits perfectly but does not have a tab even though the teapot has a spot for a tab(see photos) so I can't be sure if it is original-please judge for yourself. We found this beautiful Chocolate Pot and Creamer. White porcelain inside with a gorgeous bronze and silver finish, at an estate sale in Chicago. Absolutely no chips or scrapes, in wonderful condition. We could not find any markings, however, so it's original provenance is unknown. Displays nicely, an excellent find.

There is no maker's mark- I have seen very similar patterns by New Hall and Miles Mason. This is a quality set with relief molding on the teapot, sugar, cream jug, and lids, and beautifully detailed handles. The feel and style makes me think this set dates to the very early 1800s. The set consists of 41 pieces. Which are: 1 teapot with lid 1 waste bowl 1 sugar with lid 1 creamer jug 2 handled serving plates 11 plates 12 cups 12 saucers Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. SIZE: The teapot is just over 8.5 inches tall. And is approximately 9.25 inches from handle to spout. The sugar is just over 7 inches tall to the top of the finial. The creamer jug is approximately ... more5.75 inches tall. The waste bowl is approximately 6 inches diameter and just over 3.5 inches tall. 6" T Lovely Chinese Porcelain Tea Caddie with Hand Painted Birds & Flowers
This attractive piece was perhaps an early import and is profusely decorated both on the top and sides all around. Please examine the photos. Which best describe the array of decor that demands attention wherever it is placed. The condition is particularly good with no cracks or chips. Just a little wear around the top perimeter of the sides of the cover that probably came from being handled often while dispensing tea. Otherwise, some of the gold has paled at edges of the designs but it is hardly noticed and certainly does not detract from its loveliness. It is unsigned. The cover meets the canister top nicely with a snug fitting inner collar which of course is necessary for the preservation of costly tea leaves. Size is 5-1/4” in diameter by 6” tall( 13.3 cm in diameter by 15.3 cm tall) As many of you know. Hello- This is a wonderful Antique Chocolate Pot Set. The set has VERY light wear marks. But no chips or cracks of any kind. The pot stands approx. 10" w/ handle x 7 1/2" at the widest. The serving tray/plate measures 10 1/2" wide w/ handles, and has a 8 1/2" serving area. Each cup is approx. 3" high x 2 1/2" across, with 5" saucers- pretty standard. It is properly marked on the bottom, with the artist signature being E.D.R. and sometimes just ED.
