Antique 3 Pc Hand Painted Pansies Porcelain Tea Set Exc
This listing is for a very nice antique. Hand painted, 3 piece tea set. This set is in great condition. No chips or cracks. It features hand painted Pansies on all 3 pieces. This set is made of porcelain. The tea pot stands 5" tall to the top of the handle and is 7 1/4" long. The sugar stands 3 1/2" tall and measures 5 1/2" wide including both handles. The creamer is 3" tall by 4 3/4" wide. There are no markings on any of the piece. I would guess that the blanks were probably Germany. Just a great set!

This Haviland teapot is 9 1/2" tall and has an unusual braided rope style handle. No chips. No damage, although it does have some light wear to the gilt on the rim, the tip of the spout and a slight rub on the rim. This is a beautiful example of early Haviland elegance with the raised embossed designs. I believe this mark was used between 1883 and 1885. This Haviland creamer and sugar have unusual braided rope style handles and raised designs. I believe this mark was used between 1883 and 1885. A circle of glaze is missing around the mark on the sugar. As can be seen fluorescing under a blacklight in the last photo. It could be from the making, I am not sure. Historical Staffordshire Pearlware Dark Blue Transferware Teapot& Lid circa 1830 ~ Sea Shells and Flowers Pattern ~ Unknown Potter ~ About 7" high to top of finial ~ Almost 12" long from spout to handle An early large Staffordshire pearlware teapot with a rich dense transferware print of many seashells and flowers. The two rim edged with a fine lacy border. The handle is molded as two overlapping leaves with beading toward the bottom and the finial to the lid is a sort of square floral shape as well. It displays beautifully although there are a couple tiny chips, it has a big lovely presence. In excellent condition with a glossy glaze; there are no touch ups or restoration. There are two small chips under the spout and one at the footrim on the corner by the handle seen above. The finial has never been off and there are some ... moresmall chips under the lid and the inside flange but these are hidden when sitting on the teapot. The base has a few cracks and some staining. Offering for sale a vintage gorgeous Thun Karlovarsky Porclain Czech Republic Design Cobalt Blue Floral Tea Set in it's original carrying case. The are a total of 17 pieces beautifully detailed heavy porcelain accented with lots of gold overlay. The teapot measures 12" long x 6-3/4" tall x 8" wide. Cups measure 4" diameter x 2-1/2" high. Saucers measure 6-1/2" diameter. Sugar measures 4-1/2" to top of cover x 6-1/2" across handles x 5" wide. Creamer measures 4" high at spout x 5-1/2" long x 4" wide. The teapot has a large chip on the spout and one teacup has been"poorly" repaired. It has a sliver of porcelain missing. Both can be easily repaired. I use a wonderful company located in Sioux Falls. Antique Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur Tea Set 17 piece tea set includes: 1 teapot/lid(approx 4 x 7 inches) 1 creamer(approx 3 x 5 inches) 1 sugar/lid(approx 3 x 4 inches) 6 tea cups(approx 2 1/4 x 3 inches) 6 saucers(approx 5 3/4 inches) Mark on the bottom indicates manufacture between 1904- 1927 One small chip noticed on one of the tea cups(shown in pictures) Used very little Very nice Will come packaged in bubble wrap with delivery confirmation Company information: Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur. The first factory in the town of Waldenburg was founded by C.S. Rausch in 1820 and even if the business only had a single kiln it was still fairly successful. Attracted by the local possibilities a second factory was opened by the businessman Traugott Hayn in 1829. These two facilities had a quite interesting fate as a decorator from Thuringia at ... morethe Rausch facility changed to Hayn and took over the business in 1831; this worker was of course no other than Carl Franz Krister who in 1833 also bought the company from Rausch for an amount of 15500 Taler. It can only be speculated on how Krister actually was able to pay for all this but it appears that before he even started to work for Rausch he already owned a kaolin deposit near the city of Meißen in Saxony which he then used as source for raw material. The required quartz was delivered from a quarry in Schreiberhau(today Szklarska Poręba) Straight from the start Krister tried to catch customers by imitating the base mark of the'Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur' KPM) in Berlin and being very cautious he decided to use a simple vertical bar instead of a sceptre. When KPM Berlin shortly afterwards added the initials'KPM' to their mark. Krister also added these letters and successfully defended the addition(standing for'Krister Porzellan Manufaktur' even after the KPM Berlin tried to stop him through a court decision. Antique Victorian Red Clay Gaudy Welsh Floral Lustre&Gold Tea Pot & Stand/Trivet
Here is a beautiful antique 3 piece Gaudy Welsh tea pot set. Circa 1890- 1910. It has an orange, brown& cobalt blue floral lustre design with gold gilt accents. It is in very good condition, except for some small chips on the stand. I find no damage to the teapot or lid. The bottom of the teapot has raised letters which look to read'Made in England' The tea pot measures 9 1/2" wide from spout to handle, and stands 7" tall. Gaudy is the name of a Welsh pattern"Antique Imari decorated earthenware" which was mostly made in England. The clay appears to be red- brick brown. This lovely teapot set has been displayed in our smokefree home for over 20 years. Please look closely at the pictures as they accurately depict the condition and are part of the description. The Teapot is a small almost miniature in size which is also a good indication it is an earlier example measuring 6 ¼ inches long, by 3 ¼ inches wide, and sits 3 1/2 inches tall. White Ironstone Quartered Rose Shape Teapot - Flow Blue - Copper Lustre
Offered is a beautiful White Ironstone Teapot or Coffee Pot in the Quartered Rose Shape. This piece is decorated with Flow Blue leaves. Red& blue pin stripes, and copper lustre. The shape divides the body into four sections and has a rosebud finial. This shape was produced by Jacob Furnival in Cobridge, England circa 1860, though this piece is unmarked. This teapot has a piece chipped from the end of the spout(see photos) I have the piece for anyone who would like to repair it. The lid does not have a steam hole. So may have orginially belonged to a sugar bowl. The body& lid are in excellent condition, except for the spout. Rare Miniature Pearlware Blue Broseley Willow Teapot Staffordshire 1820 signed
Rare Blue Staffordshire Miniature Teapot BROSELEY WILLOW possibly John Rogers ~ Staffordshire England c. 1820 from Joseph Jackson Miniature Teapot Collection This is a fantastic London shaped miniature teapot c 1820 originally part of a complete tea set and fine antique dollhouse accessory. The tiny teapot stands 3 1/4" high and measures 5 1/2” long with a square knop. Transfer printed in light blue with pearlware glaze. The teapot is decorated in one of the finest early Chinoiserie Blue Willow type pattern called Broseley Willow. The standard features of the Willow pattern are all present- pagoda, lake, bridge, fence, people- and slightly rearranged from traditional. There is a man inside the pagoda as well as 2 others on the bridge. The central image wraps around the entire perimeter with a complementary border trim. The teapot is ... moresigned with a large dramatic painted R. The previous owner attributed it to John Rogers c 1820. If not Rogers. The maker would have been Minton, who commonly used this blank during the same period, or another early 19th century pottery manufactory in the Staffordshire region of England who had a painter with a flair for the dramatic. The teapot was long time part of the Joseph Jackson Teapot Collection. The 400 piece collection was sold at auction in UK in 2001. One teapot at a time, to encourage young collectors who were able to buy them at affordable prices. The teapot is in very good condition especially considering it age and use by generations of young children with no chips or cracks. The lid appears to have been overfired. And based on the feel, it may have been professionally restored. Light wear and overall glaze crazing. And typical firing imperfections consistent with age. These fine early Willow childrens or dolls dishes are like pocket sized works of art. A lovely example, perfect and affordable for a young collector of early wares. England by Francis Morley between 1845-1858. The teapot is in the Aurora pattern which features a striking floral, leaf, and scroll pattern. The teapot has a paneled form with a box handle and it retains its original lid with steamhole. Overall the teapot stands approximately 9 1/4" tall with the lid in place. Item Condition: The overall condition of the teapot is excellent. It is extremely clean and the base has no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. The lid is always very nice but it has several small chips around the outside of the rim. The finnial has not been broken and looks great as does the underside of the lid. This is a beautiful Japanese chocolate set that serves five. It can also be used as a tea set. Especially given that tea and chocolate sets are so similar and that few these days are aware of the distinction between the two. Included is the following: five 5" saucers, five 3" tall x 3" wide(including the handle) cups, and one 9.25" tall(including the lid) x 5.5" wide chocolate pot. The material from which these pieces are made is eggshell ceramic, meaning they're so thin that one can hold a piece up to the light and see the light come through. Vintage Mitterteich Porcelain Demitasse Set of 6 Cups & Saucers, Creamer & Sugar
This is a beautiful Demitasse-sized Set of 6 Cups and 6 Saucers plus a Creamer and Sugar Set. The pieces are white porcelain decorated with tiny flowers-on-the-vine and accented with gold trim. The colors are very pale but very pretty! The gold is around the interior rim and down the length of the handle of each cup and of the Creamer. The lid of the Sugar Bowl has a thick band of gold and the bowl itself is rimmed with it as well. The Cups. Creamer, and Sugar Bowl also have an embossed design sculpted into the porcelain-a band of dots circling the base of each piece. Cups(2 ounces) are 2" high with a diameter of 2-5/8" around the rim. Saucers are 4-5/8" in diameter. Creamer is 3-1/4" high-at highest point. The spout. Sugar Bowl is 2-1/8" high-3-1/4" high to the tip of the handle. Japanese Handpainted Teapot w/ Lid
This listing is for a vintage teapot of unknown origins manufactured in Japan in an unknown pattern. There is a name on the backstamp that I can't quite make out so I've included a picture of it. This piece was acquired from a local estate that had many pieces of fine china and decorative collectibles. The teapot measures about 9 inches across from handle to tip of spout and it's about 5 1/2 inches deep. The entire piece is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing, or scratches. The gold banding and highlights that runs around the pieces in various places is strong with only minimal wear. The glaze and handpainting are still crisp and bright and the colors are strong. There is one and only one spot in the ceramic near the top of the pot that can be seen in the picture as a dark spot that I believe is a scrape mark ... morein the porcelain. It's hardly noticable and the picture makes it look bigger and darker than it really is. This is a nice example of vintage Japanese china. Originally part of a complete children's miniature tea set, the teapot is round, melon shaped and stands about 5 1/2" tall to the top of the fancy finial with a scalloped rim and applied handle. The color is a brilliant cobalt blue with the smoky qualities of flow blue. The teapot features the fabulous characters from the Punchinella puppet show(dating back to Italy in the early 17th century) of Punch. Judy and baby, along with a fanciful pipe-smoking frog. The images is repeated on each side of the pot. These fanciful characters are surrounded by an aesthetic display of flowers and geometrical whimsies.
