Antique Chocolate set unmarked RS Prussia Czech German Dresden Bohemian Silesia
You are bidding without reserve on a lovely antique German or Czechoslovakian Chocolate Service in soft colors and shades of green. Decorated with lilies and columbines and other flowers, plus hand-painted pearl-dots of gilding. The handles are graceful and ornate. The scrolls that have been molded into the shapes of the porcelain are outlined in gilding. This set includes the chocolate pot. Which is nine inches high, plus its cover, plus six matching cups, at 3 1/8 inches high, plus five matching saucers. There are no marks to indicate the manufacturer, but I assume it comes from one of the locations mentioned in the title. The condition is very good, with only one cup having a chip on the top rim(shown) and the pot having a crack in the rim of the spout(shown) The gilding is almost entirely intact! There were a few very tiny paint specks ... moreon the surface, but I took them off with my fingernail, and if you notice any more you can do the same. They were smaller than pinheads and I removed all the ones I could find. This lovely set will be packed carefully and sent with lots of bubble-wrap so it gets to you safely and without any mishaps.

RARE. VINTAGE/ ANTIQUE TALL STONEWARE TEAPOT WITH GOLD TRIM approximately 8.5 to 8.75 inches tall. From the base to the top of the lid. LOTS OF PICTURES. SO YOU CAN SEE THE DETAIL FROM EVERY ANGLE. A SMALL CHIP ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID FROM MANY YEARS AGO. SEE PICTURE 10. SOME AGING& CRAZING. SOME WEAR OF THE GOLD. BUT STILL IN GREAT SHAPE CONSIDERING ITS AGE. Burgess& Campbell items are usually listed as late 1800's. And I found the following company historical info online, which mentions that they used the double shield trade-mark in 1879: The Mercer Pottery Co. was organized in 1868. James Moses. The head of the company, claims ... moreto have been the first to make semi‑porcelain ware in this country. The double shield mark, formerly used by this company, was the same as that employed by the firms of Carr& Clark and Burgess& Campbell. It was also used at the New York City Pottery by Mr. Carr, as will be seen. When the International Pottery Co. was organized in 1879 by Messrs. Carr and Clark, assisted by John and James Moses, the double shield was adopted as being an appropriate design for the name of the company, Mr. Clark being an English potter and James Moses an American. The same shapes were being made at the Mercer and International Potteries and the goods were interchangeable. Hence the same mark was used by each, the only difference being in the name printed beneath. In September of the same year Messrs. Wonderful unmarked French style teapot with gold and red trim. There are examples of Haviland teapot which are very similar to this very pretty teapot. Has twig handle and finial on lid. It is a naturalist design with very little to distract from other pieces on your tea tray. Would look wonderful with White Haviland porcelain dinner service. It has some red along with the gold by the handle. Just a great piece. No crazing. Cracks, chips, or flakes. It stands 9 inches tall and 10 inches with spout and handle.

Angem. The porcelain teapot sits in the insulated casing. The teapot is marked with the D.R.P marking. So is the casing it sits in which is very rare to find. Most of the casings were made by another company. This one is marked with the D.R.P Angem stamp. The ball feet on the bottom and the top handle are bake-lite. What makes this set so unique and rare is the fact that the sugar and the creamer are included. The creamer is marked on the bottom D.R.P. Angem. The handle, rim spout and inside of the creamer are porcelain. The ... moreoutside is a silver tone but not a casing. The sugar bowl is not marked. The estate where I purchased this said it belonged to her great grandmother who was originally from Germany. This is all that I know about this set. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The insulation on the inside of the teapot casing is intact and in good condition. There is minor scratching and scuffs due to age and normal use on all three pieces. The set consists of a serving pot. Creamer/milk jug, sugar bowl with lid, and six cups and saucers. Each piece features the famous Fragonard courting couple romance scenes– there are two different scenes on each and four different scenes altogether throughout the set. The pieces are signed as you can see in the photo. The main color of the set is a soft yellow trimmed with a creamy chocolate brown color at the top and bottom of each piece. The Fragonard scenes are framed by a gold gilt design and in between the scenes are gold gilt flowers. The rims and handles are all gold gilt. The saucers. The teapot stands 4 ½ inches tall and measures 6 inches from handle to spout. The sugar stands 4 inches tall and measures 4 inches across. The creamer stands 3 inches tall and 3 inches across. The main scene on the teaset is a man carrying wood on the land surrounding a log cabin. To celebrate t he successful 1840 presidential campaign of William Henry Harrison. Harrison’s campaign was the first modern“political” campaign. He w as a college graduate from a comfortable family background but through the use of the log cabin as the symbol of his campaign. He was recast as a rugged frontier hero and a man of the people. The log cabin motif continued to be made by Ridgway for some years after the election. The pattern is identified on page 37 of PRESIDENTIAL AND CAMPAIGN MEMORABILIA. By Stan Gores, published in 1982(now out of print) The pieces of this set are unmarked. C. 1850 was originally part of a complete children's toy tea service. The little covered box stands 4-1/2” tall on a raised pedestal base. It measures 4” across the widest part of the body. The rim is gently scalloped, and it has a gorgeous bud finial and press moulded handle shaped like a twig. The second handle is missing, as shown in the detail photos. The central image. Which repeats on each side of the piece, was transfer printed and elaborately hand detailed in blue, green, red, and brown, a rare process in these early children's wares. Here we have a very beautiful Royal Doulton Stoneware Teapot. Made at the Doulton Art Pottery Studios in the late 1800's. This teapot has so many signatures on the bottom it looks like a road map. Senior& Junior artists. And it is impressed with the Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery mark. This is a large size teapot. Probably about 4 cups. It has the impressed Doulton Slaters Lace technique impressed in the clay. They it is beautifully enameled with delicate paint outlighting the flowers from the lace. The teapot measures 9 1/2" long from the spout to the handle. It stands aprox. 6" to the top of the decorated lid. Inside the lid has another impressed artists initials. Antique Rudolph Wachter German porcelain 18 pc. lunch set opalescent birds $CUT
Here are 8 luncheon plates. 7 1/2" diameter, opalescent pale yellow, blue pierced rim. 5 have pairs of pheasants; 3 of these have back stamps of: RW MADE IN GERMANY and the BAVARIA SCHUMANN ARZBERG stamp. All other pieces have ONLY the red RW MADE IN GERMANY stamp. 3 plates have pairs of peacocks, they show some vintage wear. The artists initials FM are very lightly painted on the plates at bottom of each painting. There are 7 cups; one with a broken handle(see photos) 5 have pheasants including the broken one; the other 2 have peacocks, one of which has a different design on the bulk of the cup but the same peacocks as others. I do not see the signature on any of the cups. There is missing paint on 3 of the cups(see photos) The teapot has a repair on the end of spout, see photo) there is the F beneath the peacock but no M. The sugar ... moreand creamer have peacocks with some missing paint on the creamer's bird. This is a beautiful still useful set or a great china cabinet set. They are similar as far as their pedestal, 12 paneled design, weight, coloration(even in the grayish-blue tint of the white) close in decoration, and fine crazing. Both feature black transfer scenics, front and back, with a detail of the scene inside on the bottom. An elaborate geometric inside collar with pretty borders is seen at the top inside. The taller one has a British registry mark. Smaller is without. These are two nice early pieces to add to a British transferware collection. This is a beautiful vintage stacking teapot by itself. The teapot was made by Lord Nelson Ware in England. It has a floral pattern of yellows. Reds, greens, and blues, set against a cream colored background, with gold detais on the spout and handles. It is stamped with a circular marking"Lord Nelson Ware Made in England" with"Rose Time" in the middle. I hate it but it has an old brownish small chip on the spout as seen in the pics. CONDITION: There are flakes to the tip of the spout and around the edge of the lid- the pen is pointing to these in the close up pictures. Condition. Condition, condition! Very hard to find old teapots such as this one in such good condition. This antique teapot/ tea pot is absolutely gorgeous! This is a beautiful Victorian tea pot. Teapot, by Samuel Johnson. I date it from somewhere between the 1887-very, very early 1900's. You can clearly see the mark, on the bottom and it also has a registry no: RNo.195066 which should help you date it As the experts say. Condition is everything, and this pot, for its age, it is very good condition! This pot is stunning in the black color accented by raised design hand colored in turquoise blue and pink and heavily accented in gold! Beautiful! No damage to the spout or the lid. The only flaws I find are a few minute flea bits on the ridge where the lid fits in and wear to the gold on the handle and around the lid. And some gold wear around ... morethe spout. It is unusual to find these old tea pots in such condition. The mark on the bottom is an oval that says S.Johnson around the top. Burslem in the center of the oval, and England at the bottom(see mark in picture) The registry no. is also there for you to see. A truely great piece from the past.

Leason& Co. ca 1895. The pattern is Clyde. The 6 cup tea pot has 13 holes to the spout and is in excellent condition. As is the creamer and the plate. There's a small chip to the inside rim of the sugar bowl as shown. Unfortunately the waste bowl is wasted, with two hairlines and darkened crazing, but still a nice shelf piece. The set includes a teapot. 6-3/4 inches tall and 7 inches handle to spout; two-handle open sugar, 4-3/4 inches across the handles and 3 inches tall; cream pitcher, 4 inches handle to spout and 3 inches tall; 3 footed cups, 2-1/2 inches square by 2-1/4 inches tall; and 3 saucers, 3-7/8 inches square. The set features alternating panels of impressed zig-zag lines and flat panels, and has a hand painted daisy decoration with enamel accents. The daisy motif includes the branch shaped and colored handles and feet, raised flower shape on teapot and creamer spouts, and inverted flower shaped teapot lid. The set does have some damage. The curled stem that forms the lid handle has been repaired; there is a 2-1/2 inch long hairline down one side of the sugar ... morebowl; and there are firing cracks at the inner edge of some of the feet on the teapot. BOTANICAL KALEIDOSCOPE. Staffordshire. England c. 1810. This is a spectacular early pearlware coffee pot. C. 1810. It stands 10" tall to the top of the round rinial, and measures about 9" across, from the top of the spout to the edge of the handle. Bulbous body topped wtih a baseball sized domed top and standing on a pedestal base, it is decorated in the earliest of brown transfer printing and finished with a lush blue pearlware glaze. The decoration is a kaleidoscope of botanical images on both sides of the body and covering the lid. The handle and spout are also decorated. And the rim is finished with an acanthus leaf band. An exceptionally ... morebeautiful form and embellishment. It was impeccably potted and precision turned. The coffee pot most likely hails from the Staffordshire region of England in the early part of the 19th century. The maker is unknown. The coffee pot is in good overall condition. An outstanding example. There is a small old chip on the side of the spout and an old tight crack on the bottom and up about 1 1/2" on the lower sides, as shown in the detailed photos. There is also a small chip on the underside/inside of the lid. No other chips, cracks or repairs. It displays beautifully as is.
