VINTAGE BIRKS STERLING SILVER RING JEWELRY BOX Presented is a fine vintage sterling silver ring box made by Henry Birks& Sons of Montreal. Canada. The ring box has a nice cut corner rectangular design with the monogram ACH on the top. The interior of the box is lined with velvet and has a slot to hold one ring. You dont see these sterling silver ring boxes too often. The box is marked on the underside with Birks Sterling. The box has a few problems. The push mechanism on the front does not seem to be catching. The hinge is working well. But the box lock, as mentioned above. Also, the velvet on the interior is not in good shape. You could easily take the old velvet out and glue in a new piece of velvet in whatever color you like. The silver also has a few dents and ... moredings here and there. There are no monogram removals and no repairs. The box measures 1 3/8 inches by 1 5/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches tall. Good luck and bid with confidence. This is a particularly old ring box made by Birks. Made of sterling silver and has 2 slots for engagement and wedding rings. The bottom shows the company mark and Sterling. Hinge works well, lid flips up somewhat loosely and snaps down again securely. The ring box was polished and it came up nicely but could use some more polishing here and there. No indentations on this box. Condition is as stated above. The box measures 1.75 inches tall and 2 inches across the base. Inside. There is a dark brown velvet double ring slot. The rope-like trim surround is showing the beginning of fraying here the two ends meet and through all these years, has managed to raise itself higher from its insert bur does not come out. This old ring box was made by Birks Canada and by its design. It is an earlier one, probably dating to 1920s or 1930s. The bottom shows the company mark and Sterling. Hinge works well, lid flips up and snaps down again with a click. The pin that goes through the hinge though sticks out somewhat with what looks like an unfinished end on it. But the hinge and lid work well, and the ring box could use some more polishing. It has been monogrammed with name Shirley. The box measures 1.75 inches tall and 2 inches across the base. Inside. BIRKS STERLING SILVER JEWELRY RING VANITY BOX WITH SCROLLING-VINTAGE- High quality round jewelry box from Birks measures 4 1/2" in diameter at the base and stands close to 2 1/2" tall. The inside is a grey/blue velvet fabric and the bottom is Irish green. Both pieces are marked: BIRKS STERLING. Condition is excellent. The box is clean and the outside faultless. The lid fits very well and is snug. There is a very small dent along the inside lip. This is shown on the picture of the top where it is marked BIRKS STERLING. Monogrammed G B.

This cool. VINTAGE, Birks ring box measures 1 5/8" tall and 2" across at the base. The bottom is clearly marked"Birks Sterling. The lid interior carries the Birks logo. This bell shape box has a sun beam/ burst lid and the inside of the top has the gold Birks logo. The hinge is solid and it closes tightly. The black velvet interior is in excellent condition with a slot for one ring. The bottom is stamped Birks Sterling. The only possible flaw I can see is on the bottom. second ring from the center logo where the ridge has a flat spot. you can see it in the 8th and 9th photos. Thank you for your interest. Tonight I'm happy to offer. From a recently purchased estate, Henry Birks& Son- Vintage, Mid 1960's, Sterling Silver- 1.5" Double'BB' Bell Design- Silver Ring Box. EXCELLENT CONDITION! NO RESERVE! This graceful and elegant silver box dates from the mid 1960's. Of American make and origin, made by or for Henry Birks& Son- Birks, at one time Canada's premiere jewelers and long known as the"Tiffany's of Canada" Designed as a 1.5" by 1.25" by 2" silver round shaped ring box. Simple and unadorned featuring the double'BB' motif used by Birks in the 1950's. and 1960's. The box features the original black velvet interior with space for one ring. The box is in excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use. With no repairs or restorations, no wear or rubbing ... moreto the design or details, only in need of a good polishing. There is a very tiny ding on the bottom of the box, this very minor, does not detract and not noticeable unless the boz is turned over. The box is marked on the bottom. Birks and Sterling.
