This is a very rare high quality antique handmade 19th century sterling silver and brass trinket snuff box. it can also be used as a tea caddy or whatever desired. The box is beautifully crafted out of extremely thick metals and is very heavy. it is made from solid brass with exquisite hand cut and inlaid pieces of sterling silver. the pattern is very intricate and intense on every angle of the box and is very well made. the inside part the box has three compartments and four hinged lids that are also inlaid with sterling. the compartments are covered by the large hinged lid and it has two thick brass handles which pivot back and forth on the mounts.
