Jewelry Trinket Pill Box Silver Edwardian Deco 1911 Pink Guilloche Enamel A MAGNIFICENT AND RARE JEWELRY BOX CASKET. PILL BOX, PATCH BOX, WITH GORGEOUS PINK GUILLOCHE ENAMEL OVER STERLING SILVER HALLMARKED FOR CHESTER ENGLAND 1911-12 OF GREAT QUALITY. This is just a perfect antique jewel box! It doesn't get more lovely than this! The delicate miniature jewel box has the most gorgeous guilloche enamel design in Pink enamel polkadots with a swirling engine turned design underneath. The lovely oval shape of the box is just perfect! It has a wonderful tight lid. It rests on 4 lovely feet in the form of feet. On the interior the top is gilded. There is red velvet atop a leather bottom. The box is extensively hallmarked around the rim with the lion passant. Chester crest and the date mark for 1911-12 as well as the makers mark which appears ... moreto be SM.L. The lid is also hallmarked with the lion and date mark. Overall this is just a superb delightful piece with such elegance and the pink color is so magnificent! The box is in wonderful condition. There is no damage or loss to the beautiful enamel. There are really no dings or dents to the silverwork. Possibly 2 or 3 tiny dings which are almost impossible to see, please look at the photos! The leather bottom which sits inside the silver is loose, this could be glued if desired, however, if anything is placed in the box this will hold the bottom down. None of these issues detract from the box in my opinion but I wanted to mention them. The box is 2 1/4 inches(5.6 cm) long, 1 1/2 inches(4 cm) wide at the widest, and 1 1/4 inches(3.2 cm) tall. This is a superb original Antique jewel box. And so very hard to find in today's market! Hallmarked Solid S. Mordan Silver Pill Box - Blue Guilloche Enamel Chester 1911
A gorgeous little antique pill box. Made from silver and hallmarked Chester 1911, with the maker SM for S. Mordan& Co. The guilloche topped lid is enamelled in a lovely turquoise blue which just glows. There are a couple of dinks to the side and one to the base, and the enamelling has come away at the top of the heart, with a couple of chips to the side. Also, the hinge needs fixing, although the lid fits snuggly anyway. A beautiful little piece- please see photographs for a more detailed description. Antique Watson Co. Sterling Silver& Guilloche Enamel Art Deco Pill Box Up for auction is an exquisite antique sterling and guilloche enamel pill. Ring or trinket box by Watson Co. of Attleboro, Mass. Watson made many beautiful sterling items. Some with guilloche enamel, but most of the guilloche items that I've seen were fancy demitasse spoons, enameled brooches, hair clips, buckles and the like. I've never seen a box like this one. And it's a real beauty. It measures 1-1/2" across by 1" high. With a slightly domed lid, and weighs 31.7 grams. The body is machine turned with horizontal pinstripe threading. The lid has rings of Art Deco patterning overlaid with guilloche enamel in white and aquamarine blue with tiny silver beads. The outer rings are accented with tiny gold shamrocks. And the center features a large ... moregold four-leaf clover. The design is so unique it suggests to me that this was box was custom designed for its recipient. The inside has a light gold wash. The bottom is beautifully hand engraved with the monogram"RW" It is also stamped with STERLING. The number 384, and the Watson Co. insignia of a sword in a laurel wreath. Vintage Sterling Silver Vermeil Guilloche Enamel Pill Box 30 grams 925 MINT
This box is in Great condition it is a 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" oval. It weighs 30 grams. One ounce of stamped 925 vermeil silver with the stamp under the lid on the rim. The outside looks gold washed and the inside looks bright gold. The enamel is in perfect condition it is protected by raised scrolling and a thick rim. The bottom is very thick to prevent dings or dents. It has a well made hinge and a tight secure snap shut closure. The lime green enamel has a raised silver scroll around it and a silver medallion on top of the enamel. The bottom has one large rose with an etched design to follow the small rose trim on the top. Description Up for bid is a sterling silver and purple guilloche enamel snuff or pill box. It measures a little less than 1 and 1/2 inches square and is about 3/8 inches high. The top and the sides are enameled. And the bottom is plain sterling. It opens to a gold-washed interior. The bottom of the compact and the rim of the lid are marked 925. There is also a triangle within a circle(which appears to be a maker's mark) and a date letter of a small i. Since there is a date letter, I assume this was made in the UK for export. Overall condition is excellent. With no damage to the enamel. There is a shallow indent on the bottom of the box, but it in no way detracts. Domestic shipping will be $3.00. Pretty Enamel Guilloche Decorated 925 Silver Pill Trinket Box Hallmark Circ 1912
Description I'm offering a lovely guilloch enamel pill box or trinket holder. It's decorated on the lid and the sides, the hallmarks are indistinct but I believe the r is for London 1912, please see the photo for confirmation, it also has the London import marks. The condition is not perfect. It has some enamel worn from around the hinge area, also a couple of small edge chips. It measures 35mm in diameter. 13mm deep, and weighs 27.5 grams. A stunning antique silver pill or patch box. The hinged cover finely hand painted guilloche enamelled with a Scottish Highland scene entitled"Loch Katrine" Fully and clearly hallmarked with the anchor for the assay town of Birmingham. The lion passant for the sterling standard guarantee, and the date letter'A' for the year 1925. Maker's mark HCD for Henry Clifford Davis. In very good antique condition without dents or repairs. The cover with totally undamaged enamel work with very few surface scratches. The interior of the cover may have had a small mirror, now replaced with velvet, but easily replaceable. VintageThomae Guilloche Sterling Silver Enamel Pill Compact Snuff Trinket Box
This beautiful little silver box is about 1-1/4 inches tall and 1-3/4 inches wide. It has a white enamel with roses on the top. This is hinged between the 2 compartments and the middle section swings out when you open it. It is marked with the numbers 1812(date? on the top edge. Not sure what they stand for. It is also marked with the Watson Co/Thomae Co. seal on the top edge along with the word'Sterling" This is in great condition, a tiny ding on the side, the hinges are in good working order and the enamel looks great. Have not seen a double compartment box like this, only a single section box. It will need to be polished a little more. Beautiful Art Deco style pill or snuff box with blue guilloche designs. It is marked on the inside and I can't really make out the mark. But I do see the number 1 clearly marked on the inside and the other mark looks like it starts with a g or a 9? I was told this box is silver when I purchased it. The box measures approx. 1 3/4 inches by a little over 1 inch. I love the colors on this box. A few scratches ut good condition for age.
