This is a lovely little George III box for pills or patches made from a natural blond material(t*rt*s*sh*ll) with gold piqué work to the lid. Each of the twenty four pins creating the outer border have a star-shaped cross-sectional area. All set off by a gold center. In my pictures, I’ve attempted to show the effect of the light shining through this transparent natural material, giving a lovely orange glow. I’ve also tried to demonstrate the same without the light, which is the picture with the pound coin. I can’t promise the colours are exact, but they are the best I can achieve. Maker: Not marked. Vintage sterling silver small flower floral design patch/pill/stamp box case. This is one of the smallest patch boxes I have seen. But it is in great condition, has a great ornate floral design on the top, stamped"925" on the bottom of the inside. The box is about 7/8 if an inch wide, about 3/4 of an inch tall and just shy of 1/2 inch thick, and it weighs about 7 grams.

Small oval in shape with a fine decorative rim on the lid and base.it has LOST its hinged grill. Hallmarked inside with a lion for Sterling silver. The makers mark is TW which is probably for the Birmingham Silversmith Thomas Willmore. And the letter b, dates it to 1799. It still retains its gilt interior. But as you can see the hinged grill is missing along with the sponge. It measures approx 34mm x 26mm x 14mm. It weighs 13.3 grams. In nice condition with some age and use wear. Description Up for bid is a sterling silver and purple guilloche enamel snuff or pill box. It measures a little less than 1 and 1/2 inches square and is about 3/8 inches high. The top and the sides are enameled. And the bottom is plain sterling. It opens to a gold-washed interior. The bottom of the compact and the rim of the lid are marked 925. There is also a triangle within a circle(which appears to be a maker's mark) and a date letter of a small i. Since there is a date letter, I assume this was made in the UK for export. Up for bids is this Antique Late 19thC Gorham Repousse Flowers Sterling Silver Patch Pill Box. This piece was made during the late 19thC by Gorham. The rim of the box is marked with Gorham's trademark that they stopped using in the 1890s. The rim is also marked STERLING. The top of the box and the sides are repousse decorated with flowers and leaves. The box has a diameter of 2" and stands 7/8" in height. The box is in great condiiton with just one minor ding to the bottom edge which is very hard to notice. The box weights 1.00 ozt. A Pretty Solid Silver Italian Round Pill /Patch Box A Cherub Riding A Lion C1900
A very pretty circular Solid Silver Italian pill or patch box. The lid has am embossed decoration of a Cherub riding a Lion the sides are decorated with grapes, flowers and Fleur-de-lis. The inside has originally been gilded and some gilt does remain. Pin in the hinge is overlapping on one side and needs pushing in. Hinge is not damage and the lid, base and sides are in good condition no holes or dents. Circa 1900. Base is marked with a fleur de lis and Italy. Measures 1 inch in diameter and stands at 1/2 an inch tall. Any questions please ask.
