Jewelry Trinket Pill Box Silver Edwardian Deco 1911 Pink Guilloche Enamel A MAGNIFICENT AND RARE JEWELRY BOX CASKET. PILL BOX, PATCH BOX, WITH GORGEOUS PINK GUILLOCHE ENAMEL OVER STERLING SILVER HALLMARKED FOR CHESTER ENGLAND 1911-12 OF GREAT QUALITY. This is just a perfect antique jewel box! It doesn't get more lovely than this! The delicate miniature jewel box has the most gorgeous guilloche enamel design in Pink enamel polkadots with a swirling engine turned design underneath. The lovely oval shape of the box is just perfect! It has a wonderful tight lid. It rests on 4 lovely feet in the form of feet. On the interior the top is gilded. There is red velvet atop a leather bottom. The box is extensively hallmarked around the rim with the lion passant. Chester crest and the date mark for 1911-12 as well as the makers mark which appears ... moreto be SM.L. The lid is also hallmarked with the lion and date mark. Overall this is just a superb delightful piece with such elegance and the pink color is so magnificent! The box is in wonderful condition. There is no damage or loss to the beautiful enamel. There are really no dings or dents to the silverwork. Possibly 2 or 3 tiny dings which are almost impossible to see, please look at the photos! The leather bottom which sits inside the silver is loose, this could be glued if desired, however, if anything is placed in the box this will hold the bottom down. None of these issues detract from the box in my opinion but I wanted to mention them. The box is 2 1/4 inches(5.6 cm) long, 1 1/2 inches(4 cm) wide at the widest, and 1 1/4 inches(3.2 cm) tall. This is a superb original Antique jewel box. And so very hard to find in today's market! This beautiful silver article box is 92.5% silver and measures 4.0 cm(or 1.56 inches) from vertex to vertex. Through the center. The silver content is shown on the bottom of the box(reads 925) The box shows some slight tarnish, and some sticker residue remains on the bottom of the box and on two of the sides. I have never actually attempted to remove this sticker residue myself. The box shows less tarnish where the sticker was previously placed. The intricate green, blue, and burgundy enamel work on the lid catches the light so that photos cannot do it justice.

A Lavender Guilloche Enamel on Solid Silver Oval Trinket Box: London 1932
This lovely oval trinket box on four legs is just over 5 inches(13cm) by 3.75 inches(8.5cm) And 2.25 inches(6cm) high. Without its weighted base, it weighs 7oz(200g) The enamel decoration is of a star burst with a central oval decorated cartouche. All within a stylised foliate border. There is no damage or repair to the silver or enamel. Other than two short scratches- probably caused by a ring- please study the photos. No restoration. The lining was absolutely filthy so we have removed and cleaned it. It is all there, including the cording, apart from the stuffing. It is marked to the body and lid with the hallmark for London 1932 and with the maker's mark for William Comyns& Sons Ltd(Richard Comyns) All items are described to the best of our knowledge and the photos form part of our description. Antique Sterling Silver Gilt& Guilloche Enamel Jewelery. Ring or Trinket or Ring Box dated 1926 This Antique Jewelery. Trinket or Ring Box measures approximately 2 3/8 inches or 61 mm across the width or diameter of its lid from side to side and it stands just under 1 5/8 inches or 41 mm tall to the top of its lid. The box is made from sterling silver that was once completely gilded or gold plated in a circular shape that stands on three shaped raised relief decorated legs. The box has a three section piano hinged lid that has been internally gilded or gold plated and the top of its lid has been wonderfully decorated with blue guilloche enamel, the inside of the body has a pale brown velvet lining and the box has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram, the underside of the body has a pale brown velvet inset ... morepanel and the side of the boxes body and lid have been impressed with English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, A C- Anchor- Lion Passant- B A C is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of Albert Carter. The Anchor is the mark of the Birmingham assay office, the Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver and the letter B is the date letter for 1926. The condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Guilloche Enamel is in Mint Condition with No Chips. No Cracks and No Surface Scratches. The box has No Dents. No Splits, No Cracks and No Holes and the box has No Repairs that I can find, the box stands straight, the hinge is working perfectly, the lid opens with ease and closes tightly, the definition and decoration is very crisp, the internal lining is in mint condition with no splits and no tares, the silver hallmarks are rubbed or worn but still partially legible although as the box is a used antique the external gilding is very worn and it has some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use, the box has the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would not go amiss. Condition Condition is very good but there has been two small scratches to the top. One is near the hinge you can see on the photographs and the other was not picked up by the camera. We are offering this Very Nice ENGLISH STERLING SILVER& GUILLOUCHE ENAMEL Trinket or Pill Box. The lid is where all the action is centered. The Enameled design has a tiny gold flower in the center. This radiates out toward the circumference with a silver fan design to a 2 toned band around the circumference of a GREEK KEY design.PLEASE NOTE: There is 1 small wear spot(shown in a photo) where the enamel is worn thru and showing the tops of one fan.The sides and bottom are plain sterling.ALSO PLEASE NOTE: There is 1 small dent(shown in photo) and glue residue from a long gone tag on the bottom.
