Rare & Superb! Antique Watson Sterling Silver Art Deco Guilloche Enamel Pill Box
Antique Watson Co. Sterling Silver& Guilloche Enamel Art Deco Pill Box Up for auction is an exquisite antique sterling and guilloche enamel pill. Ring or trinket box by Watson Co. of Attleboro, Mass. Watson made many beautiful sterling items. Some with guilloche enamel, but most of the guilloche items that I've seen were fancy demitasse spoons, enameled brooches, hair clips, buckles and the like. I've never seen a box like this one. And it's a real beauty. It measures 1-1/2" across by 1" high. With a slightly domed lid, and weighs 31.7 grams. The body is machine turned with horizontal pinstripe threading. The lid has rings of Art Deco patterning overlaid with guilloche enamel in white and aquamarine blue with tiny silver beads. The outer rings are accented with tiny gold shamrocks. And the center features a large ... moregold four-leaf clover. The design is so unique it suggests to me that this was box was custom designed for its recipient. The inside has a light gold wash. The bottom is beautifully hand engraved with the monogram"RW" It is also stamped with STERLING. The number 384, and the Watson Co. insignia of a sword in a laurel wreath. This stunning Watson sterling pill box is in exceptionally fine antique condition. There are just a few tiny pinpoint dings in the silver; the enamel appears to be perfect. Starting far below value. ART DECO ROYAL NAVY STERLING SILVER & GUILLOCHE ENAMEL COMPACT PILL BOX HM 1928
Offered for your consideration is this fine solid silver and guilloche enamel compact pill box with sterling silver Royal Navy insignia. The case measures 5 cms in diameter and is fully hallmarked to the base for Birmingham 1928 with the maker's mark for Page Keen& Page of Plymouth. This box has strong hinge and secure clasp and is offered in very good condition with no damage tothe royal blue guilloche enamel. The silver has normal age and usage marks with a couple of small dings to the base. Thank you for your interest.

Magnificent Austrian Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel compact and lipstick. Made circa 1930. This is a stunning compact and lipstick made in Austria circa 1930. The compact is rectangular in shape with canted sides to both the top and underside of the case. The compact has bands of dark burgundy ... moreguilloche enamel to the sides(on both sides) with yellow guilloche enamel to the centre. The lid of the compact has a superb hand painted enamel Japanese lady in traditional long robes in stunning colours. The compact has an onyx stone push button opener and the inside of the case has two compartments on the one side with engine turned and hinged lids and a mirror to the other side. The compact is joined by two cords and has it's matching burgundy and yellow guilloche enamel lipstick. The compact is 1-5/8 inches/ 41 mm x 2-7/8 inches/ 74 mm. The lipstick is 2 inches/ 50 mm long. The set weighs 143 grams. The compact is stamped 935. The compact and lipstick are in excellent condition. The enamel is perfect except of one chip to the one end on the lipstick. See picture. 1936 STERLING SILVER Guilloche ENAMEL Jar. ART DECO Britain- Wm. Neale, Unique Beautiful Birmingham. England hallmarked jar. It has a light turquoise(or deep aquamarine) guilloche enamel snug fitting lid. It has a very feminine design to the Art Deco guilloche enamel(see photos) The cut glass has perpendicular lines extending about 3/4 the distance of the height on all sides with a Starburst pattern on the bottom. This is a unique rectangular taller jar measuring 3.75 inches(8.4 cm) in height. 2.5 inch(6.4 cm) in length, and 1.5 inch(3.8 cm) in width. Perfect size for cotton swabs(cotton buds, Q-Tips) or cotton balls, or for your choice of items. Crafted by William Neale& Sons(operating 1850-1941) The company was absorbed into Suckling Ltd. Beautiful French Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel round box. Made circa 1930. This is a lovely round box with a superb hand painted enamel to the lid with a lake with trees and reeds to the foreground and mountains to the background and clouds in the sky. The picture is surrounded by a band of pale blue guilloche enamel. The sides of the box and the underside are finely engine turned. The lid is hinged and the inside of the box is gilded. The box is 2 inches/ 50 mm in diametre and it stands 9/16 inches/ 14 mm high. It weighs 51 grams. The inside of the box has clear hallmarks to both the lid and the base- boar head and maker's mark C*B. The box is in excellent condition with no dents. Damage or repair. Antique Sterling Silver And Blue Enamel Art Deco Guilloche Pill Snuff Box
Beautiful Art Deco style pill or snuff box with blue guilloche designs. It is marked on the inside and I can't really make out the mark. But I do see the number 1 clearly marked on the inside and the other mark looks like it starts with a g or a 9? I was told this box is silver when I purchased it. The box measures approx. 1 3/4 inches by a little over 1 inch. I love the colors on this box. A few scratches ut good condition for age.
