Late C19th Antique Victorian Elm Bergere Cane Steamer Sun Louger Armchair
Offering a wonderful late Victorian elm steamer style bergere cane armchair dating to the end of the 19th century. This good example has an elm frame which can be folded out to provide a relaxed position seat similar to a sun lounger with cane supports and foot support. The frame is solid with all cane in very good condition- the chair is fully useable. We have tested it out and although it squeaks a little when sitting down it seems to take the weight well and is very comfortable. Good Set Of Six C19th Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Bar Back Dining Chairs
Here for auction we have a good set of six early Victorian mahogany bar back dining chairs dating to the mid 19th century. These solid chairs have the traditional shaped back support with simple horizontal splat with drop in seat being raised atop ring turned legs. All the chairs are solid in build being free from any wobble and come suitable for everyday use.
