The black walnut frames date from the 1860s to 1870s and are very similar. Unless you look closely, you would never know they are not a match as the fabric dominates your eye. One chair has metal castors that are all original and the other chair has wooden castors that appear to be original. The gentleman’s arm chair is in nice condition and I don’t see anything wrong with it. The ladies chair is in good condition with a typical split in the seam in the back that we will tighten up prior to shipping. There are no metal bracing or any poor repairs to the chair.

FANTASTIC! Turn of the Century Parlor Chair. This was a fabulous find! VICTORIAN PARLOR CHAIR WITH FRONT CASTERS I believe its in original condition. Please see all pics. The upholstery and the wood looks very good. No stains. No Damage. No repairs that I can see. Its just Beautiful! The wood is a bit dusty so it could use a wipe. Its a orange rusty colored velvet. The front casters appear to be original and maybe porcelain. The wood is either Walnut or Mahogany. Amazing condition for its age. Sturdy and usable! ONLY 1 chair available. I did Furniture Upholstery for about 25 years. Truly enjoyed it. Then my back went. Anyway. Here I have a very Sweet Victorian Chair that I rescued from the Trash Bin. Brought it home and set to work on making it Beautiful again. It has been setting in our living room for several years. Never used except for a Stuffed Animal. I am going to say Pick up only. Pair of Antique Victorian Walnut Side Parlor Chair's Black Velvet Upholstered Chairs Size- the Back is 37 inches tall. About 19 inches wide and about a 17 inch seat height. Condition- Used and Re-upholstered. Some nicks dings and or scratches to the wood. Please review close ups. The chairs were professionally re-upholstered and one has the tag on the bottom the other looks like it was peeled off. Antique Glue joints present and a small crack to the wood by on one chair by the lower back support. This small crack in the wood does not affect the chairs sturdiness. Nice old set of Victorian chairs. I love the fine detail carved into the wood. See close ups. The chairs were pictured with a carved 3 legged table. This is not included in the sale.
