Beautiful needlepoint seat cover. Would go really good with a set of 8 other seatcovers i have on right now. This is just a single one. Salmon pink back ground with flowers. Pillow cover has very good neele work. I do not think this cover has been used before. Measures(just they needle point. NOT the edge) 19 on the bottom and 15.5 inches on the top. Sides measure left side measures 15.5 and right side 16.5 inches. Please keep in mind not all sides measure the same! Please look at the photo's. Sorry i do not ship international. This is a wonderful old French chair that came from an estate and I just had to have it reupholstered due to how sweet it was. It originally has a caned seat and there were a couple small holes. So I had this wonderful needlepoint and decorated it my way. It now is comfortable and even more usable due to its height from the floor. Age is approximately late 1700s. Early 1800s. The wood, I am not sure of because the French used many different woods and this is so old and dark, but my best guess is rosewood. My antique friend has confirmed the same conclusion. The chair measures 32 1/2 inches high back from floor to top, and the seat is 17 1/2 inches wide by 16 1/2 inches deep. From floor to seat is 18 1/2 inches. The chair measures 34” tall from the floor to the top of the seat back. The seat is 17 ¾ inches wide by 17 inches deep and has a needlepoint cushion that measures 15 inches wide by 14 inches deep. The top of the seat cushion for sitting measures approximately 18” from the floor. The base of the legs measure approximately 16” across and 15” deep. The Hip rest hal arms provide extra strength and stability. Overall. This is a beautiful vintage needlepoint pad to be used on a child's chair or rocker. Or any small sized foot-stool or seat. It is in good condition and the workmanship is quite nice. The pattern is floral in shades of pink and rose, and cream flowers on a sea-foam green background. The underside is a matching sea-foam green silk or silk-like fabric which is also in good condition(there is only a minor snag and normal age-related, faint discoloration along the edges which you would expect from a vintage item) The ties are leather-type and also in good condition. The pad measures 11" x 8.5. It comes from a non-smoking home.

This wonderful Victorian or Edwardian side chair was purchased by my grandmother. A very talented collector who scoured antique shops in and around Cape May, New Jersey during the'50's and'60's. After she died, it was passed along to my mother and it has now become mine. I have no room for it, alas, so it is now looking for a new home. This chair measures approximately 37" tall. 19" from front to back, and 18" wide. The wood is mahogany. I believe, and it has been deeply carved. There are a few scuffs here and there and what may be some tiny spots of paint on one side, all of which should come out quite easily with a dab of paint remover and a little Restor-A-Finish. We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful pair of antique chairs. These chairs date to the mid 1800's and are in amazing condition for the age. These are from a prominent Concord. MA estate that was one of the founding families of the town. These chairs are mahogany and flame mahogany with a finish on them that is similar to a French polish finish. They have a sabre leg and a bowed skirt. They have a carved scroll and leaf crest with a circular center medallion. The slip seats have a beautiful needlepoint design with what looks to me like two squirrels playing cards. This is a well built chamber pot used in the Victorian Era before indoor plumbing was common. When lid is down. It functions as a seat. Turned legs in good shape and joints are tight. Captain's chair wood with needlepoint seat antique heirloom seat
Here's an estate sale find with great potential. This captain's chair has lovely bones and needs some quality care and refurbishing. It's got graceful curves. Ornate detailing and a lovely needlepoint seat. The chair stands just under 30 inches tall. And measures 23 1/2 inches across the front and the seat is about 21 1/2 inches deep. There is a 15 1/2 inch rise to the seat. Which is about 17 inches deep. We would not recommend this chair in its current condition for actually sitting in. This estate sale find looks like it was in the middle of a refurbishing before it was sold. Leg was improperly repaired with screws showing through the front. Back looks like it was cracked and re-glued. Seat needs restuffing and chair needs general love and care. Joints need to be reinforced and wood needs a good cleaning. Too. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE WALNUT SEAT BENCH W/NEEDLEPOINT
This is a beautiful antique walnut seat bench. It has been in my family since 1890. The needlepoint was put on originally in 1938. But was removed, cleaned and put back on in 1975. The bench is 18 1/2" long, 7 3/4" deep and is 14 1/4" tall. For the last 55 years it has been in my Vermont house. The shipping charge includes postage. Insurance, tracking and packaging.
