The black walnut frames date from the 1860s to 1870s and are very similar. Unless you look closely, you would never know they are not a match as the fabric dominates your eye. One chair has metal castors that are all original and the other chair has wooden castors that appear to be original. The gentleman’s arm chair is in nice condition and I don’t see anything wrong with it. The ladies chair is in good condition with a typical split in the seam in the back that we will tighten up prior to shipping. There are no metal bracing or any poor repairs to the chair.

Charming Antique Victorian Parlor Chair with Tufted Back
This is a beautiful mid 19th century green velvet Victorian Parlor chair with a tufted back. It stands 39 1/2" tall and is 19 3/4" wide on the seat. It has 2 wheels on the front legs but no wheels on the back legs. As you can see underneath the chair is in real good condition and the chair sits well. The wood is solid. Sturdy and beautiful. There is very minor markings on the wood. There are a couple of stains on the velvet as you can see in the photo's please look at the pictures well it will tell you the best description of the chair as I try to take a picture of every angle please contact me if you have any concerns. You will also see what looks to be fading but it's where I was trying to clean off the velvet and I used water which you are not suppose to do. The joints seem a little loose but are sturdy with a little play and gap in the arms. The upholstery needs to be changed as it is worn on the seat and arms. It has casters on all four legs that are solid brass. The wood finish is a light brown with nice carvings on the chair front and arms. Looks like a repair where the arm meets the back. The chair measures 25 inches deep x 26 inches wide x 42 inches high. This is an original period chair probably late 1800’s to very early 1900’s. Antique Eastlake East Lake Parlor set Settee Chair & Rocker
I am listing a 3 piece Eastlake parlor set in wonderful condition. The chair and rocker has four wheels each and the setee has 2 in the front. I believe the material is red velvet, I do not see any damage to the wood of these pieces but if you look at photo 4& 8 it looks as if the material is faded from sunlight. The material is not torn and I do not see any stains. They are listed as pick up only but I will consider delivery or partial delivery based on location, for a mileage fee which will be included in the final sale price. The chair has a rose carved crest, some signs of early repairs at the glue joints, which is common in a chair like this, but it is all tight and sturdy. Antique Eastlake Victorian Parlor Wide Arm Chair - Spindles, Ornately Carved
Up for sale is this wonderful antique parlor chair. It is an Eastlake style from the Victorian period. And features light olive-green upholstery with carved spindles under the arms and on either side of the back cushion. The lower back is very nicely carved as well. This chair is in good condition overall. The arms wiggle a little, and although the chair is free of any major damage and free of repair marks, it does show various small nicks. 98% of the grommets are intact and the fabric looks to be original, or at least from around the same period, only showing a few small spots and not much fading. I would consider the fabric above-average for its age, and the wood is around or slightly above-average, considering it is unrestored. It has been conditioned with lemon oil and has a nice, even shine now. Regarding sturdiness, I weigh 160 pounds ... moreand the chair holds me very well. The arm span is unusually wide, measuring 32 inches from the outside, left to right. Floor to top measures 34 inches; seat height is 17 inches; and the depth measures 23 inches. Victorian Inlaid Rosewood Side Chair Up for sale is(1) upholstered antique Victorian Rosewood inlaid parlor side chair. This chair is in super condition. All of the joints tight and very sturdy. It has casters on the front legs. The wood finish is a very dark brown with veneer inlays on the back and side supports. The top back and bottom front have been inlaid with a musical motif. The motifs are all intact. Beautiful carvings on the upper back also. The upholstery is newer and in great condition. We do not know when it was upholstered but the work is very nice and clean. Antique Eastlake Floral Needlepoint Wood Parlor Chair 1800's? Needs Refurbishing
For local pickup in Northern Virginia! A late 1800's(I believe) Eastlake chair with pretty floral needlepoint seat and back. The chair is sturdy with only some surface wear. But needs reupholstering. One of the braces on the side is fastened by a wooden peg, but needs gluing. One caster is wood and the other is ceramic. The six seat springs are a little rusty, but I believe they are salvageable. Though there are a few spots of damage here and there in the needlepoint pieces, they are also salvageable-if not for reupholstering, at least for repurpose. A good project. The cherry wood chair has beautiful lines and a carved scroll design from top to bottom Structurally the chair is in great shape. There are a couple tears in the needlepoint on the seat portion of the chair which can been seen in the photos. There is also some damage on the bottom of the chair under the cushion.
